This beautiful hotel is on the northern end of the dead sea and closest to "Masada". I like this hotel better than all the others, because it is different. It is not a big conventional hotel but it is more like a vilage or a kibutz ( because it is in kibutz Ein Gedi). Privet small houses in very high... More

Great location. Major historical significance. Friendly and courteous staff. Marvelous food. Well equipped spa. Memorable views. Comfortable rooms with all conveniences. Golf carts so very convenient and drivers so very helpful and accommodating. An experience worth repeating and easy to recommend.

This hotel is like a beautiful oasis in the desert by the Dead Sea. The deluxe rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. The service is excellent and the food is varied, plentiful and delicious. Option of golf cart to and from restaurant. Adjacent to working Kibbutz and very near Botanical Gardens. Bus to Dead Sea beach. Beautiful pool as well as... More

We stayed one night after visiting Masada which is about 18 km south. Stayed in a standard hotel room. The room was comfortable and clean (with private bath) with refrigerator, kettle and free coffee and tea. The grounds are beautiful with lush vegetation. A botanical garden is located on site. The central reception area has a nice restaurant and bar.... More

My Hubby and I celebrated my 70 birthday in Ein Gedi. Just the two of us, for two nights. We came by public transportation from Nahariya to Ein Gedi via Jerusalem. Tired and hot we walked into the cool lobby. Smiles of welcome awaited us. Our unit was ready, explanation given and keys were handed. We walked across the lawn... More

The hotel is nice but the spa is unbelievable. The Dead Sea, the mud, the pool. I was in heaven. I spent one hour floating in the Dead Sea something dreams are made of. If your in Israel you must come here it's not that far. It's worth the time and the travel.

Been here many times before and feel that the breakfast has definitely gone downhill. Hot food were all cold - no excuse for that. Fruit selection was very poor with lots of tinned rather than fresh. Where was the melon ?? Management please note im a real guest who has visited many times before and feel you need to raise... More

The place is very nice with beautifull vegetation. We got a superior room for the standart price. This room was very nice wirh a modern shower. The price is quit expensiv. 240 Dollar is tooooo mutch. The dinner-room is like in the Kibbuzim at the 1980es. Not sexy!!!! Not nice. The food also. 100 Dollar to much!!!

We just stayed here for our third visit. We like it for several reasons: Its location – it’s in a great location for visiting Masada, the Dead Sea swimming, and walking in the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve. The setting – the rooms are in a botanical park with big trees and an amazing variety of green and flowering plants. If... More

If you like desert environments, then Ein Gedi is the place to stay. The rooms are attached single story units located in the "botanical garden." Simply appointed but clean and with good air conditioning. Stunning desert views. A nice place to stay compared to the large hotels on the Dead Sea and 15-20 minutes by car from Masada. You'll probably... More
