Little Tree B&B is one of the top bed & breakfasts in the Taos area. Amazing views of the mountains each time you go to the property. It's well worth it just for the views! The owners are former Ritz-Carlton employees so they know top notch service. They are great people, Maggie & Gordon Johnston, and give you gourmet breakfasts... More

We found the Little Tree on Trip Advisor, but booked directly with them because I have a gluten intolerance and wanted to get a sense of how they would accommodate my needs. I didn't want to pay for a B and B if they were just going to eliminate all the fun stuff they offered. ("Well, I usually make quiche... More

A great B&B. Beautiful room, tile floors, wood beamed ceiling, adobe walls, nice bath and private patio with hot tub. Rooms are all off a central outdoor courtyard, beautifully landscaped. Common areas are also exceptional, as was the breakfast. Our only complaint was the hot tub in the room next to our room. We stayed in the Spruce room and... More

We stayed in the Pinon room for four nights and were delighted. Maggie and Gordon Johnson, the owners, are committed to hospitality and pay tremendous attention to every facet of your stay. The Pinon room is above average in size. The appointments are carefully and thoughtfully selected. The queen-sized bed is very comfortable. There are two windows on opposite sides... More

We stayed at the Little Tree B&B in 1996 before the current owners took it over 8 years ago. It was wonderful then, and even better now. The B&B, situated just minutes away from the main attractions in Taos and the Taos Pueblo (and on the way to the ski area) is located in a quiet area where, once you... More

Returning to the Little Tree for a third time, we found it to be as relaxing and wonderful as ever. But mid-way through our 5 day stay, we were involved in an auto accident just a mile or so away. The car was inoperable, but Gordon came down to get us. He and Maggie, along with a couple from PA... More

This was our first trip to New Mexico. Read the reviews about Little Tree in lonely planet's guide book about Santa Fe, Taos, and Albuquerque and were glad we did. We had a perfect time. Great room (Aspen), great breakfasts, and gorgeous, quiet setting just outside of Taos. We are so happy we stayed at Little Tree instead of right... More

If you are going to Taos, you must stay with Gordon and Maggie at the Little Tree. We spent 3 nights in the Spruce room and hated to leave. The Little Tree is a few miles outside of Taos so don't expect television reception (you won't even miss it). But if you want a beautiful room with gorgeous scenery and... More

We headed to Taos for a couple of extra days before a busy conference in Albuquerque. We've lived in NM before and wanted a peaceful retreat, away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown plaza. The Little Tree was perfect in this regard! We headed toward the tiny but charming burg of Arroyo Seco for one afternoon, but mostly... More

Summer at the Little Tree in Taos is very comfortable with warm days, beautiful rainbows, cool breezy nights and extraordinary views of vibrant sunsets. The high country garden is a beautiful focal point and we delighted in watching myriad buzzing hummingbirds. The innkeepers welcomed us warmly. We stayed in the sparkling clean Juniper Room with lots of interesting reading, a... More
