Review Laissez les bons temps rouler!! There aren’t enough stars in the sky for this review And no matter what we write it will not explain how awesome this place and these two people are!!! Lacy and rob are top notch people running a top notch place, From the moment we booked, the attention to detail was on point As the days up to the stay came about the very open communication was there and all the things I desired they made happen From the fire burning in our private presidential suite watching snow falling, deer walking in front of windows to a 5 star dinner served next to the fire and a dessert to die for To end that night with sipping wine and chatting with these two world travelers in the main living area Two people full of life experiences awesome people As we woke up next morning to fresh orange juice like I’ve never tasted so good Rob’s secret stuff lol And let me just tell y’all lacy set up a bad ass massage for us also took place in front of this awesome fireplace What a trip I can tell y’all this, the pics, as awesome as they may be don’t justify the place and our words here will never justify the stay there Pie yow comme ca book you dat sha you gonna love it !!! !!!!…
I stayed at Cielo for a week and Lacy and Rob were incredible hosts and made me feel at home the moment I walked in the door. The coffee and breakfasts were delicious. The views were magnificent. My room was very comfortable with multiple spaces to relax in, lots of windows that let in magical light and a cozy bed. Unforgettable mountain sunsets. Amazing hiking trails that lead right up to the property. An indoor heated pool steps from my room. Cielo is a unique experience and unlike anywhere I have ever stayed. Exceeded my expectations on all fronts. I hope to be back again soon!
Cynthia, the owner was there to greet us at late check in, property is beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. Interesting history of this property that used to b private residence. Great hiking nearby. They just need better signage from the main highway to get to the property. Drive slow so as not to run over the wildlife. Great hostess.
My husband and I just returned from staying at Cielo Taos. Wow! We are already planning our trip back. Lacy and Robert are the innkeepers. The service was amazing. They greeted us and showed up around, and then left us on our own to enjoy. We happened to arrive just in time for afternoon sangria - good timing! Breakfast was included, and Robert's breakfasts were equal to if not better than many we have had in town in the past. Migas, huevos rancheros, omelettes with white cheddar. Fresh juices and fruit. Light breakfasts are also available, but we opted for hearty. And the best part was that Lacy delivered my coffee to me every morning about a half hour before breakfast so that I could sit and enjoy it. Heaven! We chose to take advantage of the chef prepared dinner (Robert trained in Paris at the Ritz - wow again). It was served in our own rooms with a spectacular view of the sunset. I can't tell you how wonderful it was. Five course meal, we provided our own wine. The same meal in town would have cost at least three times the cost, and nothing could have been better. The accommodations were outstanding - super comfortable king size bed, huge dressing room and bathroom, great shower, huge tub, sitting room of our own. The views from our sitting room were as good as any we have experienced in our many stays in Taos. Oh did I mention the indoor pool available for use by all guests? This place was truly amazing. I'm running out of superlatives to use to describe this place, and part of me wants to be selfish and hope that no one finds out about it so that it will be available for us whenever we want, but that's not going to happen. We can't wait to go back!…
