Very nice people and a clean room. Makassar isn't really worth staying but this hotel is absolutely fine. One thing. There're guides waiting at the breakfast who offer you a cabdrive to Toraja. Nothing wrong with that, the prices are not extra-ordinary, but a busdrive to Sengkang of Toraja is pretty luxury as well. So think about that before you... More

As friendly as the staff was, it didn't balance my overall experience of this hotel. Makassar on itself is not a very nice city to stay in, let's be fair. So I guess the location of this hotel is pretty good although it's on a busy street so the this walls won't hold a lot of noise. The room was... More

I stayed in Beril Nur couple of years ago in a standard room, which was a big, clean room with two single beds. This time I also reserved a standard room, but got a closet rather than a room. The had become greedy and separated small "rooms" with thin walls from what used to be the corridor. These closets are... More

After a night on a ship we walked about 400m North from the dock to find this very clean and lovely hotel We were so surprised to find such a lovely place, staff polite, rooms clean, hot water and air con. Food is nice too if you decided to eat in as we did. We'll be passing back through in... More

the building is small, i pick the suite room when i stayed there, the place is quite clean, the food is so-so , i stayed mainly because of the strategic location for the seafood of course and "if you know what i mean" because there are a lot of dangdut pubs. the staff is polite but lack of initiative

We stayed here for 2 nights. Room was good and clean i must say. With the exception that it stank quite a bit of smoke, not surprising in Indonesia though. Also the smoking had resulted in several holes in the bed sheets. But for Indonesia it is very acceptable. The problem we had here was the staff. The first strange... More

I stayed at three different hotels in Makassar, this hotel was the nicest and cleanest. Very comfortable room and spacious. Good breakfast that's included in price. The only problem was that is not close to the Losari beach area. I used a Pete Pete or taxi and it took about 5 minute or so to get to the main touristic... More
