Love the interior, the bed so comfortable, there's jacuzzy in bathroom even for standard room which is very good, toiletries also very good and smell good. Room very clean. Check-in process fast even the hotel have a lot of rules, all rooms are non smoking room, room deposit quite high IDR 300K. The breakfast so poor for 4 stars hotel need a lot of improvement. There's only pao and steamed sweet potato in dimsum station and the soup very salty. The service at the restaurant also need to improve, the restaurant staff not greet the guest when the guest come. Hotel location is good, connected to the mall and near to local culinary.

Nothing Is More Important Than Excellent Service The location of this hotel is perfect! Because it is in the same area as Panakkukang Mall, that doesn't mean it's more comfortable. Hotel guests will wait more than 10 minutes just for the lift, and there are four, but only two are operating; one is for hotel staff only. So if you're planning to go out to eat or take a walk at the hotel, prepare yourself in advance: the lift will likely be complete, and you could wait for two rounds, which is very uncomfortable, especially if you are with parents and children. I was handled by a very stingy receptionist who said, "I'm sorry" for any lack of information that was not provided regarding the complimentary lunch provided. I called twice before arriving at the hotel and asked when lunch would be served. They only said it would be from 12 to 5 pm, and there was never any information that the buffet would close at three the rest takeaway to the room. Misinformation makes consumers like being framed. The receptionist just said: it should have been conveyed; I said yes, I understand that it should be the responsibility of the hotel team, not me. Then he said that it was the general rule here. I was in shock; how could he possibly say that to me. You can't force hotel guests to understand the internal regulations while I was staying at this hotel for the first time. It didn't stop there; this receptionist, I asked the bellboy for help, but he didn't even ask where I put my stuff, and a moment later, he was serving guests behind me without closing my service and check-in process properly. He never even smiled at me throughout the service, which is taught in all tourism schools worldwide and is fundamental in the hotel business: everyone knows about it. I stayed with my nephew, and I asked for extra soap the next day. Unfortunately, the hotel will not add bath soap that they already provide in a small bottle that is only enough for one adult bath. I don't expect to stay with adequate toiletries or big soap bottles, I mean, because I think it's still a reasonable thing to ask for in other hotels wherever you survive, even in 1 or 2-star hotels. Don't expect you to get peace and comfort at dinner and breakfast because it's very crowded. Regardless of the hotel being fully booked, that is the task of hotel management; they should be able to manage the breakfast process by providing a little strategy regarding meal times or queues in restaurants because, as far as I know Makassar is still in the setting of level 2 restrictions during the pandemic, and that doesn't apply at this hotel at breakfast. This hotel has lovely photo spots and is good to visit. Unfortunately, all are given a prohibition line. I can't understand why we have to stay in a place with a good design, but you can't enjoy things for a while to take pictures and enjoy its beauty. All were given a prohibition line as had happened in the vicinity of that location. However, there are two things that I like about this hotel: the room facilities and the taste of the food, which is quite delicious and varied. In every Premium room above, there is a Jacuzzi, and it was enough to cure my nephew's longing for swimming when the public swimming pool was too crowded to be used during a pandemic like now. If you want to take a walk, you can go straight to the mall. Still, for the excellent service you crave for relaxing with your family, I do not recommend this hotel, especially for those who expect first-class service in the hospitality industry, which is not commensurate with its star level.

The best hotel in makassar. Has jacuzzi on each room. Meals are provided 3 times a day on 2 restaurants. Has a good covid protocol during covid 19 pandemic. It has badminton court. But there are a lot of thing that i miss due to covid, such us 23rd floor restaurant.

I stayed here last new year's eve. The hotel was fully occupied I guess, it was very noisy. The room wasn't really soundproof. The breakfast was chaotic! I came down at 9 AM, and the cafe was full. No food left, no refill. The good thing about this hotel was the bathroom. They furnished a jacuzzi tub for every bathroom. They also provided thoughtful amenity kits. I appreciate them for providing guests with proper toothbrush and toothpaste, not the cheap and hard bristle one.

This renaissance theme hotel offers its guest different ambiance and feeling. You will find big chairs, paintings and chandeliers as you are in European palace. They serve you in house meals and access to the shopping arcade . Your room is equipped with personal Jacuzzi as well.

Stayed in this hotel for two nights on a school trip on our way home from wakatobi. It's safe to say we felt like we'd entered heaven, especially after spending 3 weeks living in very basic huts. The rooms were extremely clean, well equipped, the staff were friendly and the food was amazing. Very useful location as well with direct entrance to the shopping centre. And all for a very good price, no complaints :)

Check in : Smooth but the same cannot be said about the check out, where you are made to wait till the room is checked - took 15 minutes in our case. Rooms: Large, well appointed. Unique feature being the toiletry it that is handed out for each day at the time of check in. Sleep quality: Good, beds and pillows were top class. Food: Lavish spread during breakfast, but mostly catering to the locals. Room menu is somewhat limited but was good. Cons : No money changer in the hotel. Strongly advise tourists to change money at the airport/ find a money changer before check in. No dedicated tourist kiosk for tours. Do your bookings beforehand. Pros : Connected to a shopping mall and lots of eating options nearby. Overall good, could have been better.

This hotel has the best facilities in Makassar, especially if you are looking for a place that can provide privacy for you to have meals with your business partners. There are also so many restaurants to choose from in this hotel. The rooms are also in top condition. Most importantly, the staff in this hotel - Ms Eva, Ms Susi, Mr Chris Kwan, Mr Wilson and his team - are super helpful, efficient and friendly, they attended to all our professional needs during our stay. There is also an added convenience of being centrally located and located beside a huge shopping mall. I am confident that this hotel will continue to do well.

Stayed here for 1 night with 2 rooms for my son school event. Didnt read the reviews before coz i thought it would be fine. Unfortunately, we were having bad experience since the first arrival. 1. When we wanted to check in, the concierge said i had to park my car first. The building park area is in another building, so i had to go out again and entered another building. 2. There was a wedding party, so the parking lobby level was closed. I had to park in upper leverl. But when i parked in upper level, the security said i had to walk again, and went downstairs (using stairs, not escalator or elevator) to go to lobby. So i had to bring all the stuffs and luggage by myself, because the security hotel didnt give any care about it. I asked the receptionist about that, he said the security should had been helping me bringing the stuffs. Okay,,, 3. Terrible services from the staff at the restaurant. First, when we had dinner at the 23rd floor. The reception,named Erna, welcomed us with NO SMILE at all, and said to us harshly about the time it will be closed. Okay. After we r done, i asked her again where is the restaurant ro have breakfats. She answered me without looking at me!!!!!!! What kind of hospitality is that!!! To Mr/Mrs Manager, PLEASE TAKE THIS seriously. It wasnt nice at all to do that to ur customer. I paid to stay there. Another bad experience was from the staff at the Japanese Restaurant in 1st Floor. That time, i really couldnt hold my patience anymore about ur hospitality. I had to be mad because it was really unacceptable. We had this free voucher for lunch, so i gave it to my nanny to have lunch with my other kid and cousin while i finished putting back all of my stuffs. When i asked them to come down, my nanny said they were hold by the staff there because of theydidnt finish the food. So i went upstair again to the restaurant to see what happen. Shockingly, they only didnt eat the edges of the bread because it was too salty and hard to chew. And u expect them and my little kid to eat that??? They feel forced until they needed to put the edges into the plain water to make the bread more soft and not too salty. Really Mr/Mrs Manager??!! This is the hospitality u trained on them?? Do u see us as customers or slave?!!!! They even pushed them to eat salty egg, when they explained to ur staff, she only said nobody is complaining. Do u expect that the toleran d of salt for every one is the same? They didnt take the whole plate, and u served them very bad!! I was angry to hear that and talked to the staff who said that to confront her. She didnt confess at first, until i pushed. Then she said sorry. Her name is Putri. Mr/Mrs. Manager, if u agree with my complaints, please train ur staff better! But if u dont agree, i think maybe thas the standard hospitality u offered in ur hotel. So, yes, im not going to recommend ur hotel anymore. At all. PS. Please maintain ur facilities as well. The phone is broken, and bathroom is dirty. If u ask for the prove, i can show u.

It was great staying at Myko Hotel Panakkukang Makassar. The price was seemingly higher than neighboring hotels, but since it includes lunch and dinner for two, and the location is just above one of well known shopping malls in Makassar, it may worth it. The buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner was prepared in three different restaurants, which may show different sets of menu. The staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back...
