I went in a group of 4 (including myself) and we shared two double beds, which were relatively comfortable and had mosquito nets which pleased me to no end since I heard bad things about the sand flies! We visited the Niwana Gardens resort daily as there was little in the way of activities at Putri Pandan, though we had...

We went during the Singapore national holiday, you would think some preparations would have been made when expecting guests. We are used to basic accommodation but usually there's something positive to redeem it: cold beer, a nice beach perhaps. Putri Pandan had nothing apart from a nice view. The beautiful beach and huts were nowhere to be seen so I...

We stayed for one night with kids. There is not much activity around there. Low tide in the morning meaning there is no water near resort. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is very far away and dogs are an issue as well. Ideal for backpackers. Kayaking was fun in the evening when high tide happens. Overall not an...

m very surprised by some of the reviews here, especially by that of gheenyan (or whatever her name is). This place is exactly what it advertises. It is far from the beaten path, which means it is far from the ferry. Yes, it takes an hour, but you know that when you make the reservation, don't you? It is indonesia...

Putri Pandan far exceeded my expectations. After reading the reviews I was a bit nervous about sand flies and bedbugs, but I had no problem with either, or with mosquitos. The little villas are adorable, the lawn and beach are beautiful, the sand is soft and the water warm. The staff are amazingly friendly and hospitable, and the food at...

Putri Pandan. One of the coolest places for budget travelers to go to for a short getaway. Our stay is placed directly in front of the sea. Every morning we were greeted with a nice sea view from our beach resort. During high tide, the sea almost reached our doorstep and it looked really nice. We spent most of our...

The pictures, the descriptions and the price offers we found on the internet about Putri Pandan were tempting and quite convincing. Reasons why I and my bestfriend decided to book a 3-day stay at the resort. The moment we arrived at the Bintan Ferry Terminal, we were welcomed by dispatchers of private car rental / cab service providers. When they...

The Putri Pandan Resort is a great alternative to the bigger resorts in the north of the island. The bungalows are basic, yet very spacious. If a clean and basic hut at a fantastic beach, without crowds and tourists is what you're looking for - this is the place on Bintan! The hospitality of Joni, the manager, stands out. He...
