Our first getaway from the nest #wfh after so many months. I know this hotel group #tentrem coz been stayed in other city and it is one of the finest local indo hotel group management.
From the moment you park the car, drop off the luggages, thermo gun, handwashing are guided safely.
The lift buttons are touchless. However, the staffs are all friendly with greetings and open your lift. The moment you tap your room card, your floor room bottom turns on.
The foods are well protected by plastic glass, and staffs will serve your selected menu to your table. All food taste are above average.
The room is clean, all towels, spoons, cups are sealed wih plastic wrap. Not to mention their bath gown. Excellent.
The parking space is not large as this hotel located in the heart of city. Luckily so easy to find one in front of lobby as maybe still not many guests due to this covid.
Overall, Love it & Feel Safe.

I stay at Semarang only for transit before heading to Jakarta from Surabaya.

Chanti Hotel’s new normal protocol was awesome, perfect for me who travel with newborn baby. They wrapped all room towel, cuttleries etc with plastic wrap. They provide handsanitizer in every public spot.

The staff service were supergood (i need freezer for my frozen breastmilk/ASIP and the staff was so helpful, i forgot his name, but thank you so much Mas!).

Breakfast taste good (especially nasgor sambal ijo).
But it takes too long for check out, only 1 person in front desk. Overall, if you looking for safe, clean and hygine hotel during this covid pandemic, i recommend to stay at this Hotel 🖤

I was travelling for business and had been staying here almost every week for the past month now. The hotel fits my criteria for staying at a good, clean, quite and cozy place. The room is clean with a working table, quite convenient to sit and put your laptop and check some work emails before sleeping. The bathroom have its primary amenities even during covid (wrapped securely for your safety of course). Bathroom is clean.. very nice!! (I'm very picky with bathrooms). And the breakfast is the best compared with other similar hotels in the city. Recommended and surely will stay here again during my next trip!

Security team is very helpfull

Junior suite does not have a bath up.

Rate 6.5 for breakfast menu variant and taste.

Pool does not have a closed bathroom.

Hotel rules is not consistent, pool access via restaurant but you are not allowed to bring foods at pool if you ask the staff, but the guests who brings the food to the pool, are being ignored by staff. So if you would like to bring the foods to the pool, never ask the staff, just do it. Lol!

Hotel staff is not flexible with the rules. If you ask something or ask for any allowance and the hotel room is not allowing you, the hotel staff will said "sorry, it is not allowed" without any good or comfort explanation to the guest.

The elevator is too small and when you visit with full of guests, you can wait the elevator 30 minutes because of the traffic and the elevator space is very limited.

Tissue in the room is only available in the toilet with small size tissue, so you have to bring your own.

1.2 m the height of pool, if you have a kid with height under 1.2 m should be accompanied by adult.

Loundry room never ask the phone! The other extention can not help you to connect with laundry room.

The receptionist / sales said that our group will have 1 hours for breakfast only at 7 to 8 am and the other guests will get breakfast after 8 am. But again, rules is only rules, the internal coordination is not good may be or the staff is not consistent with their words.

Almost all the service at this hotel is under rated for me!

This is not service oriented for me.

Comfortable room yet rude and poor service from front desk during check in. Paid for a non smoking room via booking.com but was given a smoking room upon arrival with the reason: no more non smoking rooms available since hotel is full and to complain to booking.com as hotel chanti was not at fault and not responsible for the mistake.
We requested for a refund and was very upset having to explain why we cannot accept a smoking room (they offered to give a room at the end of the smoking floors hall as a solution with an air purifier, no thank you) especially when our payment was for a non smoking room. Then front desk said they would go to management and after an hour since we arrived being tired from a long drive to get here and going through an upsetting check in, we were given a non smoking room. Something that should have happened from the begininng, instead of being told non smoking rooms were fully booked and had no choice but to sleep in a smoking room. Terrible and unnecesarry experience.

Allow us to explain what was happenning during the check in process. The travel agent booked a smooking room to our hotel, that's why we had smooking room prepared for you. During check in we did also show you the voucher/email confirmation from the travel agent that the travel agent booked you the smoking room. Unfirtunately on that day we were fully booked and there was no non smoking-room available. As a good gesture from us, we tried to help you getting the non smoking room by contacting our regular guest who may want to switch the room to smoking room as he normally booked smoking room. Our effort of trying to help you getting the non smoking-room might take some time which could result you waited a little bit longer during check in. For this case we are going to escalate this issue to the respective Travel Agent. Thank you for your valuable feedback and see you again in the next stay with Hotel Chanti Semarang. Have been staying in this hotel for too many times, December, February, April twice. Just got a chance to properly write a review. Simple yet neat room, very comfy to stay. Staffs are very friendly. Was staying in here in December and it was too crowded (too much noise) but then it was much better when its low season. Kudos to one staff named Budi who remembered and greeted me during breakfast. One sweet gesture 🤗
Just a suggestion, its better to open all of the food stalls during breakfast time despite the fasting month. We would love to have some porridge and tahu as well not only in sahoor time. Despite the too many moments spent in here, be it bad or good, all in all, my favorite hotel to stay in Semarang.

We are on family weekend getaway in Semarang by driving for 5 hours thru the ‘Trans Jawa Toll’ from Jakarta. We booked for 3 rooms thru the hotel website and stayed 1 night in Semarang.
The location of the hotel is in the city center and nearby to everything. I must say that everything was excellent. As for the room, is modern, clean and the bed is comfortable. Also, room is equipped with a refrigerator and a safe box.

Complimentary breakfast being served at their restaurant called ‘Layana Cafe and Restaurant’ is more than I expected. Great hot and delicious breakfast with many choices both International and Javanese foods

This hotel equipped with a nice small pool and small gym for the hotel guest.

Hospitality and services are great and there are parking spots available for hotel guest.

I would definitely recommend this hotel while visiting Semarang.

After several stays at this hotel finally I acknowledge some down grading experience at this property.

Started with the lobby sharing area with bar that allowing people to smoke. I felt suffocated with all the smoke spread to lobby area.

The next morning around 9.30 am a housekeeping knock on my room and asked if there's any laundry and what time convenient to makeup the room. I advised that we're leaving at 10 and be back around 3pm. I left the room sharp at 10am and left the "make up room" sign in front of the room. Then, I came back around 2pm, guess what = room was not cleaned. So dissapointing to experience downgrading service and simple task as make up room. Understood the hotel might be understaff, yet is it a normal procedure to leave guests room not cleaned until 2pm?
Mr.Walid (Housekeeping Spv) already attend and came to explain and apologies further for this issue after we asked for the manager attendance. However still wondering why wait until 2pm and yet room was not cleaned until usual check in time at hotel in general.
Pleasent and enjoyable stay is not longer experienced at this hotel.

Feels Homey, Friendly Staff and well done SOP. Room very clean and comfortable. Upon arrival , Front Desk already prepared all of the paperwork just need to Sign and go (very efficient Procedure), Check out is even better, just leave Room Key to Security no need to go to Lobby (very helpful especially when check out very early morning around 2.30 AM), Invoice will be e - mailed.

Was staying at this hotel during easter holiday along with my family, I'm really impressed with the quality of service that this hotel give. When most of travellers review that their breakfast spread is good, which I couldn't disagree, however the one that really touched me was the service. The last day I stayed before check out, I was not feeling well, and ask if I can get some porridge. While my family members still enjoying the breakfast, they asked the staff at the resto if they can send up porridge to my room. To our suprise, what they give was not only plain porridge, but it is scalable to paid a la carte porridge! All the condiments, fruits and tea were served, with no extra cost! This for some persons might found it usual, but for me, the touch of service is not. I have been staying in a lot of hotels; from 3 stars to 5 stars, this hotel is really comparable to 5 stars service with 3 stars' price. Kudos for the hotel!
