I stayed at Novotel Bogor from July 9-25, and I stayed in several different rooms, mostly staying in the Familly Room on the first floor, while the rest I stayed in the Deluxe Room on the 2nd floor. (I was given more benefits because Novotel Bogor appreciates GOLD Accor Members and FO was very attentive)
When we arrived at the hotel, the security and bell boy gave a charming aura and provided an extraordinary arrival experience.
The front office was accommodating and warmly welcomed me; this applies to all front office employees who served me from the first day till the last day(They even gave me the benefit of room upgrades and even complimentary breakfast for a few days)
House Keeping was comprehensive and made me feel very catered for during my stay; they even asked when would the room be cleaned (every time I passed them). They provided extra drinks, amenities, etc. (Big appreciation to them for their speed, neatness and thoroughness)
For room service, I'm actually disappointed. My experience during my 17-day stay was very fluctuating, sometimes very nice and friendly but sometimes also rude to me (Probably fed up with my request to borrow cutlery and a slightly greedy breakfast menu request), but the Cappuccino I ordered was indeed perfect.
Overall, I recommend Novotel Bogor for your families, couples, and those travelling with friends. Apart from the very pronounced resort atmosphere, the rooms and supporting facilities are excellent and make you want to stay longer ( like me).
PLUS, all the front office staff are very professional and very attentive. and basically, they are the ones who make me very happy and feel at home with Novotel Bogor (Two thumbs up and high appreciation from me for them)

Very pleasantly surprised by the fantastic verdant location of this property where outdoor garden life is the rule of the day. Currently quite an old property but in the midst of extensive renovations... Don't let that put you off however, because there are two large accommodation wings and the renovations are being done one wing at a time so the sense of disruption is really minimalised. Charles Choi runs a great ship here and you sense this from the fantastically warm and efficient staff throughout the hotel. The room is dated but this is being addressed as mentioned. I particularly liked that restaurant staff (whichever restaurant) made a point of remembering my name which I have to say, is something really quite unusual and exceptional. Reception Desk staff were utterly charming too. Once the property is completed it will be an utterly fabulous place to stay... I visited the big new "brash" Pullman during my stay and have to say that I still preferred the charm and value of the Novotel. Another year or so and the Novotel will be hard to beat! No ordinary Novotel is this one. See you again for sure!

From reception to room, we have walked through the park, ponds and ending with beautiful park with tree and well maintenance plants (lots of beautiful plants). This is the strong point of Novotel hotel – Bogor.
I think I got a room with an old type but still quite nice and interesting, a room with a view to the garden. Separate bathrooms and toilets, different room designs in general but some things must be considered, anticipation care ants, so that ants do not get to bed. Not all beds have ants, but there is one single bed that there are ants. A challenge of a hotel with a spacious and beautiful garden.
Room include standard hotel amenities, 2 bottle mineral water, tea and coffee inside the cupboard, shampoo and shower gel and note pad with wood pencil.
Many activities can be done in the hotel besides just lazing (me time) because there are many hotel facilities that can be used by hotel guests from the swimming pool, gym, walk in the park, children's outdoor activities facilities, mini zoos, bars and open air restaurants.
Breakfast at Verandah restaurant, which open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee time. I have a good experience in Verandah, staff are friendly without exaggeration, serve well, prepare needs and present our orders appropriately. Appreciate to Mr. Suryadi and Ms. Amel for their service. Frankly speak, they do a good job, My mother complimenting the two of them and the rest of the staff (greeter, kitchen staff, noodle maker and egg corner kitchen staff). Thank you so much.

My friends and I checked into Novotel since its the closest to my parents place; and we wanted to celebrate my sisters wedding.
I booked the hotel 3 months ago and even the week before we are due for check in, the hotel emailed us to confirm our arrival. I replied and even mentioned the time in the email, (8 pm) which we would be checking in. We are friends, so we planned to get a twin bed room.
When we arrived at around 9 pm (since my mother insisted that we have dinner at home first) the front desk told us that our room has been given away since ‘it was not guaranteed and we called you at 6 pm and you didn’t pick up’. I was naturally furious since 1. I didn’t get a call or email at 6 pm 2. I sent an email indicating our confirmation the day before and no one asked for a guarantee (why didn’t the website ask??). This was supposed to be an Accor standard of reservation then its super disappointing!
The good thing was that the front desk was very apologetic and even though we had to stay in a king size bed room, the next day we were upgraded to a twin bed with a wonderful balcony and view. Until we checked out though, we didn’t get any contact from the hotel manager of which was promised to us, and not even an email.
In general this hotel has a problem with communication and that need to be fixed.
The room is pretty decent and worth the price it was assigned. The view around the hotel was spectacular and we can see it is being renovated, the preview of the renovation seem to be pretty good.
I suggest the hotel fix its communications to its customers. The staff is pretty polite and managed to somewhat calm us down, but in the future one cannot cancel a booking with very poor comms. I worked in hospitality before and this a typical bad scenario of customer service. Hope you can improve further and learn from the experience.

I have been staying at this hotel since 2005, however for this time's stay, I do have some notes about the follow up fr the front office and the room cleanliness. I stayed at deluxe room with bathtub, it is actually very nice room, however I found lots of ants on the bed. These ants aiming the fruits that placed on the table next to the bed. This should be assessed or anticipated by the housekeeping (ie: placed on other location). It's bcause this room is very close to the garden (ants & other animals). Bathtub was full of ants too. We need to clean it bfore used.
About the front office, when checked in,I already asked for him/her to inform/follow up asap whether/when I could get the latest check out time (bcoz accors may get til 4pm). Understood it's upon availability, however they didnt inform me til the next day afternoon and when I called/asked, they said it could be only til 1 pm (quite a normal check out). I mean, for next time please commit to follow up and inform the customer earlier if can not get the latest check out. (I had online meeting, so I planned to have it in the bedroom. Then I moved outside). Thank you.

We booked a deluxe room with bathtub for 2 nights knowing that the hotel just recently renovated. However, we did not aware that we booked and got an old unrenovated room. The types of room im booking page at accor member site was not clear which room are renovated and which room are not.
The children including us were disappointed. We made mistake that we did not directy inform hotel of our disappointment. At 3 pm on the second day the kids demanded us to leave the hotel because they could not stay in the room with unwanted and old ambiance. Unfortunately, when we checked out hotel at 3.30pm, we still had to pay the full 2 nights because it was beyond the check out time.
The hotel made a complementary that we should not pay for the extra bed, and the breakfast on 1st morning was great with different variety, but it did not lessen our disappointment that (a) we had to pay 2 nights although we didn't stay the 2nd night, and (b) the booking page is not clear that not all rooms are renovated, and not specify which room is renovated and which one is not. So, you need to be careful when making your booking in Novotel Bogor.

We stayed there 5 days 4 nights, we kept a guarantee through credit card of 2 mio IDR to cover room services. At checkout we paid our usage separately and guarantee amount was to be reversed. The rooms are old, i would recommend refurbishment. Our Rooms AC was not working we complained and they moved us into another room which was a renovated room and much better than our old room. Both room had balconies but the view was better from the old room. Breakfast buffet had a good food spread but a lot of flies were sitting on the food which was a turn off and opted for food that was covered. Room service menu was limited and at times things would run out, i really loved their beef burger. The hotel has a pool for chilling not really for swimming.There are few activities for children like feeding fish and a little mini zoo with 5 animals. A lot of greenery and nice for a walk.
The staff were just Amazing!!! Very polite and accommodating to your request. We had a really pleasant stay and would definitely stay there again.

Short staycation at Novotel Bogor Raya with family
The checkin process was very fast assisted by Ms. Nurin. she was friendly and very helpful.
This hotel is modern and Tradisional Concept. We like the New Building of the room. The room is clean, fits well, the luggage rack is very useful for changing clothes in the bathroom, a large sofa and minimalist furniture.
Good for kids as the hotel has lots of games to play, outdoor playground, nice swimming pool like a View Bali Vibes.
Breakfast Meranti Restaurant So nice ,complete and delicious. I like the nasi kuning and over all bread. With Agie Guest Relation Officer Very Helpful , Cheerful and we really like in service using feelings with heart. and I want to say thank you Ms.Amel and Ms.Ajeng For Good Service in Restaurant.
My family was very happy to stay at Novotel Bogor hotel even though it was only for one night, we are very grateful to Mrs. Raja ( HK) who has provided the best service for us and helped make a surprise for my husband.
I really disappointed when checking out. The FO staff Maulana who assist us is well and quickly. But unfortunately, he didn't offer to help with our luggage. The concierge staff only looked at us and he wasn't initiative to help us. The other staff Fo (female) who had short hair and a man in a Black shirt which is tall, very indifferent to guests. When we were taking pictures, the staff didn't have the initiative to help us take pictures, they just watched. In my opinion.. the staff are friendly but only when they serving us, if just meet us, the staff didn't say " hello" or greets, but not all.. security at parking area and Mr. Fahmi who are always friendly and greets us.
Hopefully in the future Novotel Bogor hotel will further improve the services and care more about quests. *** Thank you***

Recently came back to this hotel after my last visit on 2018. Overall very satisfied with the new renovated room, the lobby looks amazing. Restaurant served great breakfast on weekend but considered standard for weekdays serving at the same price. They serve very little food variation on weekdays with same price as weekend.
Pool and facilities not renovated yet, some areas like gym looks old. Kids club is still close during my visit in April 2021, but they have cooking class and animal feeding for kids activity on weekend.
I like the hospitality and service a lot that I came back 2 weekend in a row, and sure will be back again to Novotel Bogor and cant wait until they fully renovate the property.

Booked 2 classic rooms for family vacation, we stayed at 3rd floor and had the rooms adjoined each other really convenient since i had to look after my mother which need wheelchair and special needs.
Everything was spotless clean, their outdoor area was really huge. Lots of facilities to accomodate family activity was spread everywhere. Tennis Court, Swimming Pool, Gym, Chicken coop and Bar. Really to nice to walk under the tree shades on the morning and evening.
Their Amex Beef Burger at the restaurant was Really Good! Huge portion, juicy beef patty, generous cheese melts, fresh veggies, perfect! havent tried their italian restaurant yet but we heard it was also quite famous.
Will definately coming back here again next vacation since the 43% Accor + Mastercard discount still last till end of december 2021 :)
