I've stayed 2 times in Permata Hati with my family~
Permata hati has the best Puncak view than any other place i've been visit.
The very large area, swimming pool and those little river brings relax feeling to the visitor.
The location also my consideration to go to this place.
Permata hati located not to far from Bogor, and near to Safari Park..
What an ideal place to spend vacation time with a family.. ^^

this is not a four season resort, but I know the owner manage this facility herself wholeheartedly making Permata Hati one of the best alternative gateway. the property was newly renovated -old style villas. It is the best place to relax away from the busy traffic of the city. weather is always very cool, you can see quite a beautiful view of the mountain. it is even better when it is a bit foggy. the management also grow and sell organic vegetables, right on the premise (their property is pretty huge). guests will be served freshly picked vegetables, cooked in traditional style -just moment after they picked up from the garden. it tastes like nothing I've tasted before. It is no luxury resort, but the total experience can be comparable to one.

I've stayed at the permata hati resort 6 times and have always enjoyed my stay there. The view is just amazing, a view where you cant find anywhere else in the mountains of Bogor. It was a very pleasant stay. The service was just wonderful and the staff were just too kind. I've stayed at both the hotel and the villa, but enjoyed the villa more. I went there with a group of friends and have almost always chosen their biggest and very private villa which is called "Anggrek". It has its own gate, its own huge garden, swimming pool, playground and organic farm. To be honest, they make it feel like we own the villa to ourselves. We have complete privacy!
And again to be honest, you cant compare a 5 star hotel to this, but its still a very nice place to be and to stay!

This place is out of the busy urban environment Jakarta has. It's not a far drive from Jakarta, that's why I like it. I stayed in this Villa for a number of times already with a group of friends, usually we want to escape from Jakarta and relax for a bit, mostly during term breaks (we were in high school). The service is excellent, the food is good. However, what I liked most is the simplistic setting of the Villa, which adds a lot to the atmosphere of being outside of the city. I will definitely come back and stay there in the near future.

We rented four bedrooms villa couple weeks ago, the location is great! but the villa itsself is old, there is cracked on the wall on each bedroom especially on the wash basin area as the wall is just a gyprock, as you wall your hand on the basin, the water leaked through and we had wet floor. The villa should provide hot water in each bathroom but none of them had hot water. We reported to the management in the office, they said they would do action on it but still didn't have hot water until the day we departed.
The place is in a great location, the view is around the villa, the garden is great, the pool is fine. The villa suits for a bunch of people who want to relax and smell fresh air. There is space for kids to run around and there is soccer field and net to play.
When it comes to the payment at the office, it was a disaster!! we had some troubles in paying the villa and the people who do the admin or payment are not well trained!!
We did the payment by overseas credit card, their machine wouldn't process it, then we tried to pay with our saving card and the machine still didn't want to process it. The people who work in the office tried to ring the bank, no luck.., it was so frustrated for us! It was night time and pouring down rain at the time when we tried to pay the villa, we had no choice but to find ATM that we could withdraw fair bit of money with overseas saving card so we didn't get too much fee from their end and our end (overseas) from repeated withdraw, because the bill we had to pay in quiet big. Finally we found one ATM which we could withdraw the money but we still had to withdraw it few times due to the limited amount of the withdraw that that bank put, and of course the more I withdraw the money, the more they charge me at fee (so painful!).
The management of the villa should provide a better facility or better eftpost machine for the customers from overseas to do the payment so it makes everybody life is easy!

Nice hotel between Bogor and Puncak Pass. Bit from the main street so if you can it is wise to organize some sort of transport. We walked but it was a bit uphill.... Nice clean room, huge garden with beautiful view and plenty of space to enjoy and relax. Bit too cold for the swimmingpool... Friendly staff although not all of them did speak English. There was a celebration (including live music) near to our room so they offered us the private bungalow for the same price; nice gesture!! The first day we were the only 2 guests so we had bit of difficulties with organizing our breakfast etc. We asked if they could help us with renting a motorbike because we would otherwise be stuck and not be able to see all the nice attractions in the neighborhood. There wasn't any rental available so they helped us out with a private motorbike for rent. We went on the motorbike to many attractions and had a very good time at Permata Hati!!

We stayed in the 3 room villas with our kids and grandparents. The place has really beautiful view of the mountains. it's really cool and nice. the villas are large enough for our kids to run around. The fireplace give some good experience to our kids. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will be back again in the near future.

Been here for third times
what I love from this place is the view, mountain view, especially from the exclusive villa one (the Anggrek).
You can sit while enjoying the view either in the morning or night with the great scene of mountain or lights of lamps with a cup of coffee or hot tea
the facility is complete for the kida to play around as well as swim in the pool
we also can cook for ourselves since the owner provides us with a set of cooking and eating facilities
