Our second great experience staying at Crowne Plaza Bandung. The booking experience was seamless. We got upgraded from Junior Suite to Executive Suite, thanks to Ms. Silvia from Reception.
The breakfast was also great (better than most 4/5 stars hotels in Bandung, variety wise).
We tried the BBQ dinner at 5th floor, the service at dinner was impeccable (thanks to the friendly and helpful staffs), however there’s a room for a bit of improvement for the food.
We will definitely be back.

We were visiting this hotel for chinese new year celebration. Food are all awesome, randomly picked, all taste awesome except some drinks are too sweet. They have Indonesian, Chinese, Western food in 1 go so you can choose anything you like. Some choice of food is also vegan friendly. Waiters are responsive, they keep doing service by taking finished dishes on table so we have no worry to eat more. Ambience is delightful with live music. We will surely come back again.

This weekend my wife and I were privileged to stay in one the Crowne Plaza's Royal suites. Wow! These suites are beautiful, spacious and incredibly well appointed. Situated on the 17th floor, the suite boasts its own private terrace which allowed us to feel connected to the surrounding mountainside, even if we were in the heart of a bustling city. In addition to the terrace, the suite has a lounge area, huge bedroom and amazing bathroom. Having lived in Finland for a number of years, this suite was considerably larger than our apartment there! I really appreciated comfortable armchairs to relax in, a couch to recline in and a choice of seating on the terrace. When you stay in one of these suites you are not only benefitting from the accommodation experience but your reservation entitles use of the Executive Lounge on the 16th floor. This lounge provides a place of relative peace and quiet. Actually, there was only one other guest using the lounge for dinner and we had the place to ourselves for breakfast. The warmth of welcome and quality of service from the Executive lounge team was wonderful. The lounge serves drinks and canapés in the evening. This is a little understatement - we enjoyed a meal of pasta, vegetables and chicken, plus a nice choice of dessert. It was delicious. Breakfast included a nice selection of cooked items (Indonesian and International), plus bread and cakes, yoghurt and fruit juices. Of course, whilst the selection of breakfast in this lounge is quite extensive, if you want the full choice of breakfast then you need to use the lobby restaurant - but the wonderful view and excellent service in the Lounge is worth sacrificing your waffles for! The hotel is blessed with a very well equipped gym and a delightful pool, with a good variety of seating options around. Our check in was smooth, quick and very courteous. The management ensured that our stay was memorable. A night in the Royal suite is probably not a luxury we can afford every month, but I can heartily recommended saving up and enjoying a touch of luxury once in a while.

We went to Bandung by train and arrived too early to check in, apparently the hotel has a policy of requiring additional payment for early check in. Never mind that we can't check in early, we left our luggage at the concierge and took a walk to Braga for breakfast. The hotel is actually the closest to Rasa Bakery which is about 5 minute walk and 10 minute walk to Braga. After we checked in, the rooms are just average with twin bed and you are required to pay additional for a king size bed. The TV worked just fine with sufficient channels to watch.
The next morning we had breakfast which is a buffet breakfast which is just average but when you are early then it's ok. Crowne does offer traditional jamu drink which quite unique for a foreign brand hotel. Check out was quite efficient and friendly.

I found no complain staying in this hotel Fresh juice available for breakfast, tasty food, variety of menu choice, you can also find candies. Cozy room, Full service of room amenities, include 2 pcs of bath rope. Gym facility open 24 hours excellent! Parking space in basement is pretty spacious Health protocol is running well you can easily find sanitizer Pool is big children love it Staffs super friendly always greeting and my appreciation goes to the final touch. Hotel located in the city center make access to go everywhere in Bandung easy.
Room is spacious, service was good from check in to check out.
Rooms are clean, but since it is not a new hotel, towel, bed sheet, pillows seems worn out.
Water pressure and also hot water temperature in the shower is great!
Wifi was on off - not recommended for “work from home” set up.
Everything was good until my upper room was so noisy until early in the morning, apparently the room is not soundproof enough. Complained to the operator and they solve the problem in minutes and offer us earplug or move to other room, but it was around 4 AM. Too lazy to move anyway.
Breakfast menus was ok, but due to pandemic there not so much choices, and everything has to be served by them.
Service in the breakfast venue was super good, they constantly come and check if we need anything so they can help us.
It was a good stay for a night in Bandung.

The hotel was super busy but it seemed that they couldn't handle the workload. We got our room at 17.30 hrs! that is not acceptable even in a back to back room reservations. No fruit or at least a flower or whatever amenities in our room to say sorry (this is a hospitality standard for 4 - 5 stars hotel). Room was okay, nothing fancy. We tried to order food from room, no body picked up. I called to request for a toothbrush it was picked up after long ringing. My friends requested for ice cubes..pillows were the things they delivered while my ice cubes request was never delivered. At dinner, the pizza combo in the menu was not available and the waiter told us that ala carte would take 1 hour, so recommended us to take the buffet instead. Way to go to try sell us the buffet lol. We finally get our food in 30 mins after I told her whatever the chef was busy doing? buffet was ready...he should assign 1 staff to cater ala carte otherwise there shouldn't be any ala carte menu at all. Breakfast was super busy and not pleasant. This is the first time I felt terrible, upset and not enjoying amongst many staycations I have experienced. It was the marcom respond that got me super annoyed and decided to put my review here. Oh btw, the TV is not working in our room.

First thing to consider when picking a hotel is the location. You have to make sure that your hotel is not just has a strategi location, but it also has to be free of traffic jam.
Located on Jl. Lembong, only about 1 KM from Alun alun kota Bandung, Crowne Plaza Bandung offers almost everything you need for a perfect weekend getaway with family.
Sophisticated design. From the moment you check in, you will be amazed by its interiored hotel lobby, warm genuine smile from the hotel staff, and very cosy connextion lounge.
As you enter the hotel room, be ready to wow yourself with spacious room fully equipped with luxurious designed amenities.
We really fall in love with the bathtub and its transparent glass wall while you can actually soak in the bathtub while watching movies on TV.
Our most favourite to do in the hotel is chill in the sofa while looking at the bandung city view from the 20th floor. So relaxing.
We are beyond happy to recommend Crowne Plaza Bandung for those seeking a luxury holiday or for business staycation in Bandung.

Not every room has a bathtub. I stayed at Crowne Plaza Bandung a couple of months ago and experienced two different rooms. The 2 Single Bed Deluxe doesn't have a bathtub but the King Bed Junior Suite has. I'm unsure whether the 1 King Premier Club has a bathtub or not so I would recommend calling the property directly for confirmation.

I'm not sure but I think the deposit would be around 500,000 rupiahs. If you pay for the room at the hotel, you can either pay for the deposit first or close the bill during the check-in process; the latter wouldn't require you to pay for the deposit.
Also, I'm not sure if a bathtub is available in Deluxe rooms because, during my visit, my Deluxe room doesn't have a bathtub. However, there's a bathtub in the King Junior Suite. You can call the property directly for confirmation.
Between $500- $900, depending on the room you have booked. The deposit should be fine as you are going to get it back when you checkout, just make sure you did not charge anything under your room, such as room service orders or bills at the restaurant. Mine was all included, even they prepared me lunch and dinner too at lounge.
