Padma is built in a valley surrounded by extensive well groomed greeneries, giving it an illusion of seclusion and a sense of escape on a mountain side yet it was actually less then an hour away from downtown Bandung. It is well thought, well designed, bright, spacious, sophisticated yet very welcoming.
The staff's hospitality is outstanding. They are very friendly and helpful and ready to be at assistance at any time.
The rate includes complimentary welcome drink, afternoon tea and breakfast. Ginger tea (wedhang jahe) offered for complimentary drink was so good, one of the best I've ever had. For afternoon tea, you'll be served variety of traditional snacks while enjoying the valley view. The breakfast spread is extensive! They have continental breakfast, salad bar, Javanese, Sundanese, Japanese, soups, noodle and porridge stations and many more. I highly recommend their croissant and pain au chocolat; they are flaky and buttery. Yumm!!!
The best part is their adventure park. Though it is mainly design for kids, there are plenty activities build for adults to enjoy. Such as flying fox, table tennis, mini golf, tracking, archery, basketball and many more.
It must be noted as well that this place is kid-friendly and disability friendly. The bathroom in our room is even equipped with assistance bar/handle next to the toilet and sitting area inside the shower room. Very helpful for people with disabilities and elderly. Well done!

the hotel has so many activities (and its free), you don't need to go out looking for one. the activities are also quality ones, not just a gimmick (ie. flying fox, jungle trekking, high rope, archery etc).
you will need to stay for at least 2-3 nights to explore all the activities.
food are great, no question.
what so impressive is the service from the people, they are really really friendly disregarding their position. we are greeted by the security, reception, waiters, janitor, even a mason who is currently renovating the premises greets us when we pass. I praise the hotel training and procedure.
another thing amazed me is their commitment to quality. i saw someone cleaning the garbage can (yes cleaning the can, not only taking out the trash) at Basement 3 level of their parking lot, who even think to clean a garbage can let alone at B3 level where people rarely visited
health protocol? during my hike to the hill beside the hotel, I saw a worker with their mask on (and correctly wear) all the time at the hill summit where literally only squirrel and very small amount of hotel guest come.
i also would like to compliment the trekking tour guide (forgot the name, sorry), he have made a simple walking activities into a curious and fun experience for my daughter and family. he is very friendly, knows all about the area, and really taking care of the environment (when we came across a spider web blocking our way, he did not just wipe it off, he carefully moving the spider to the tree on the side road, unharmed).
this is my 3rd visit to the hotel and sure will come back again.

Great Place to stay with whole family. Extraordinary big Play Ground area for childrens you can stay and play. Quite and Cozy place feel hommie when we stay at Padma Hotel with Warm greeting from all hotels staff. What a beautiful hotel and above all amazing hospitality. Started with a complimentary pickup service towards the hotel, the view from the hotel lobby and especially my pool view room was indescribable ! You have to stay here to experience it yourself.
Once checked in, was served with a complimentary welcome cake and a fruit platter in the room ! Above that , was provided with a free afternoon tea in the dining area with sumptuous local delicacies and beverages. Breakfast service was also disciplined and divided into 1 hour zones between 6.30am to 9.30am due to the Covid situation.
Swimming pool and fitness services was also given limit on the amount of people inside it- social distancing at its very best !
Heading down to the 8th floor, there are a LOT of activities especially for kids in the hotel area. One single day/night wont be enough to stay here, trust me !
Ended with a complimentary drop off service from the hotel as well; never experienced this anywhere else.
5 star facilities 5 star hospitality from every single one of the staff.
Just one single complaint- soundproofing especially in the pool view room needs to be better. Got woken up early in the morning due to kids shouting in the pool area even though the room is 2 stories above it.

As a regular visitor to Bandung, this is my first time to stay in this hotel. I was quite impressed with the ratings given by many visitors and tempted to explore directly. After staying for 4 days, I don’t see any reason to give 5* rating to this hotel. Except they provide playgrounds for the kids, all other facilities are very minimum. Food menu lists are quite short and only 1 restaurant can serve you with no other options. Building maintenance is very poor. You can find an unclean spots everywhere. Corridor, elevator, stairs, restaurant, all glasses, etc.. etc.. The breakfast menu is also not the best in town. You can find easily better comparison. However, I should admit that the service attitude of ALL employees is excellent. I believe this is the key factor why so many visitors gave high ratings. For me, 4* is more than enough since I prefer to compare fairly with other hotels.
With the same price, you can get many better options in the city. Other notes, I don’t think this hotel is suitable for foreigners considering swimming poll space and facilities, including the choice of restaurant/bar.

Family suite is very good room, fit for oir family, since my boy can sleep without annoying sound or light as well, since we have separated room. We stay here for CNY with family in Bandung. Good check in service and they also allow us to early checkin and mbak Yani has suggested us to stay in 6th floor to get more quite floor for our relax time. Thanks Yani. Facilities in the hotel make my boy happy stay here along day. And also tea time and breakfast is very2 good with great service from all waiters! Back to this hotel again, make us no boring at all, since we can enjoy the fresh atmophere and greeny view.
But for us, intentionally to choose this top rated hotel both of rating and price as well, we thought we can enjoy with quite environment, unfortunately not, cause hotel is almost full, I guess, and some of guests are not follow the health protocol and ignore limitation when staff asked to register to enter the pool, for example. I always getting mad when meet people like this and surprise they can afford to stay in this hotel, which is supposedly the level of guests is expected have good manner and ethic. This is a challenge for hotel to educate the guest and dont worry to loose the guest like them. My feedback: 1/ provide separated light for using toilet/wastafel without disturbing kids who already sleep, since the glass not enough to reduce the light, now. 2/ Small thing but annoying for us, is about TV, when someone change the channel in living room, impact also to TV in the bedroom, so, its not comfortable for us. Thingking if you can provide different brand of TV, so the frequency remote is not affected each other.
Overall is good time to stay here, will come back here for sure.

This was my 2nd time staying at Padma for holiday with my family. Unfortunately my kids got the stomach flu the night we gotten there (i guess they cought it from the zoo the day before) and we had terrible night due to my kids nonstop vomiting. I had the butler almost three times helping cleaning the bed and the room after midnight, and surprisingly the Padma's staffs were so helpful and showed genuine symphaty in helping my son. They changed the bed sheet and the blanket, cleaned the floor, gave cajupute oil, brought plastics for my son to throw up, and on top of it the gave us a hot porridge at 5 am in the morning, for free, when i asked the room service for menu for my sick kid.
Didn't stop at that, at the restaurant when we were about having breakfast, my son suddenly needed to throw up again, the restaurant's staffs (Mr Ibnu and Ms Nurul) and the guest relation that happen to be at the restaurant (Ms Regina) were quickly helped us providing things we needed (plastics bin, hot water with honey, hot porridge to take away since my kid cannot eat that time).
Besides my unfortunate condition during 3 day stay, Padma are great. The landscape, the view (OH THE VIEW), the breakfast menu, the afternoon tea, the room, the ambience, the most friendly and kind hotel staffs (and i can say this since i have stayed in almost all of the 5 star hotels in jakarta) and the facilities are SO EXCELLENT. Best hotel for all kind of events: gateaway, family vacation, honeymoon, business, you named it. The adventure park are suitable for any age, from babies to a mother like myself! And the location is close by a lot of great restaurant and cafe so ordering food from outside the hotel is easy peasy.
We will definitely going back!

Padma Hotel Bandung is a one stop Hotel. You can enjoy a lot of great experience in here. Here the list :
1. Acomodation, they provide a pick-up and delivery service for a customer for free. Specially for customer that come to bandung with a Train (Bandung Station) or a plane (Husein Sastranegara Airport). 2. Great Lobby with welcome drink and snack, with beautiful valley view. 3. Outstanding scenery, this hotel is located in the valley, you can enjoy beautiful natural scenery and morning mist. 4. A top notch facility : 3 swimming pool with warm water, Gym, Yoga, Jacuzy, Flying Fox, Fishing Pond, Rabbit Feeding, Horse Riding and many more outdoor activity 5. Great Breakfast and restaurant, not only delicious one more time we can enjoy our meals accompany with breathtaking views of natural valley. 6. Strategic location, not too far from the center city of Bandung andnot to far to lembang. Padma might seem a bit pricey compared to other Bandung hotels, but everything you pay is worth every facility and service you’ll receive.
Room was bright, clean and well decorated. Love the panoramic views during breakfast. Lots of in-house facilities for children. We all at least need to stay here once in our lifetime. Love love love it.

Each floor has the rooms viewing pool and other way. You should ask the hotel to get you to quieter room away from pool view when you make a booking. But generally the room is pretty quiet. I rented Hillside Studio room, for family, and it is indeed very quiet.
The hotel 20 minutes from train station. The hotel provide free transfer from station to hotel and vice versa. You may contact the hotel to arrange the pick up schedule.
There are more places to choose from in the Bandung area.
