The hotel is centrally located, but along a very busy road. The busy road is therefore the reason that the terrace is very noisy. You can't have a conversation with each other, there is so much noise. The rooms are very dark and noisy, but fairly clean. The fact that the swimming pool opens early in the morning is not a plus with screaming children. Breakfast is fine, not very special. An extra toaster is not a superfluous luxury. The waiting time for a toasted sandwich is very long. For the rest the food from the menu is fine. The friendliness at the reception strongly depends on who is there. In addition, we also had problems with the light that did not go out in the bedroom, but I do not have the illusion that this has already been resolved. Next visit in Bandung I would rethink visiting this hotel again.…

The reception during check in is not friendly. Not attentive not hospitable. The facility are dirty such as floor are so dirty, table are sticky, bathroom dirty. Endless noise from motorcycle. And worst we can hear other guests noise, we complained but the hotel didn’t do anything. Worst thing, the first night we tried to call the room service several times because the bed light next to our bed cannot be switched off, and no one answered. More than 6 times we called. But one thing we like from the stay that the morning staff during breakfast, Mr Asep mr samsul were so nice staff. But the rest of experience are horrible.

Located in strategic area, near ITB, surrounding by many cafes & restaurant. Fast in check in and check out, good staff attitude. Room quite old, need more lamps to make it bright. The good thing is all room and hotel area is non smoking area. Happy always get the same room and floor every stay at this hotel

Arived with my family on Saturday Afternoon smooth c in as anywhere else in Bandung. WE FOUND an easy way toward the hotel locations..next to Babakan Siliwangi. HOTEL is green all the theough. Room is just great with parquet combine with marble floor either balcon and bathroom. Kids were happy as well as my wife..Bed is comfy too..I love House of Sangkuriang really...

we booked 2 rooms in this trip. we liked the location.. cafe halaman is just next door (loved it).. but the room is rather old.. and i dont think they clean it well.. maybe they need to refurbish the rooms abit.. and also the living room.. again the sofas, carpets in the lobby need to be refurbished.. the breakfast is okay.. it has good variety no complaints on that.. services is also good, they provide assistance as best as they could..

The room was nice and cozy, the service is good. Breakfast is ok if you like Indonesian food (their bubur sumsum is yummy). The hotel area is nice but is surrounded by roads, which makes the environment noisy and clouds of air smelling traffic pollution surround you all the time. A good place for a short stay in general.

Greeting From Netherlands! Arrival Time at our hotel we were immediately welcome by reception. Upon check in Mr Dean very smooth and friendly, when we came back after dinner suddenly there animal towel at bed and this is very nice. Being compared to the property's pictures those advertised on internet, online travel agent, brochures and also on in-room tv - the real condition was different; not as beautiful and clean like on photos. My room wasn't in tip-top condition (like on pictures), found many dirty spots, old and un-maintenanced wooden floor, and some broken furnitures, the marble's wall at the bathroom area was also looked old and dirty. In my sleeping time, it was very annoying to heard the motorcycles sound those ran the street. Breakfast was a potluck - no further expectation, as I was considered to find the better dishes out of hotel. Beside the down-sides above, this "colonial building" that actually not as old as it seem (built in around 2000's) but stil given the rustic's and antique's ambiances - and that was impressed me. Other up-sides, check-in process was flashy - took below a minute - I guess :). My room have a big balcony area (for the price rates given - it is a very rare choice in town). The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, like I was staying in my own home. As this property is having a limited public area, seem that all the staff are having direct interaction with the guests. I called this property as the exclusive guest house rather than a hotel. And this making a close bounding between the property's staff and the guests. …

We stayer here for 3 nights, but if I ever go back to Bandung, I Will book this hotel immediately!! Quick check in/out. Breakfast is good!! You can eat your breakfast in the lovely garden, beside the pool. Rooms are clean, pillows are so comfy! Staff is very polite, big thumbs up!!
