This is a really breathtaking place if you walk through the garden to your room. To be honest... It is traditional hotel, but that's just what it is all about!!! This makes this place live and breath character. It is also based on pure passion and everything is done with a smile. You can go to luxury hotels, but it...

Those who preferred a fancy and posh hotel, this is not for you. this hotel become one amongst 3 others "my marking" hotel, I don't really care about the breakfast and all those words saying nothing but complain about this hotel. My wife and I stayed at this hotel for five or six days and were quite satisfied given the relatively modest charges. it is conveniently located within walking distance of the museum and other places. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the rooms were kept clean and the immediate surroundings with chairs and a table fronting on to a garden...

Nice rooms, especially the old wing with a "colonial" feel to it. These old rooms are spacious and have separate bathrooms. Not always super clean but good enough. Balcony in front with garden makes this a nice place to rest when night falls. Slow restaurant but breakfast ok. I stayed with three families. No problem. Near to the geological museum....

It's modest and simple. Cheap. Felt so homey, Bandung-styled. Get a suite room for a pleasant experience. Great for families traveling in a budget with no-fuss expectation. The breakfast was very very simple so be prepared to check for breakfast spots outside the hotel if you're looking for something fancier.

The hotel has seen better days. The room is old and small in size. The bathroom is like a hospital bathroom where there is no divider between the toilet and the shower, there is just this shower curtain and after you had a shower, the floor is wet all over. Towels are dark blue! which is not standard in hotels....

With its landscaped gardens, this is a hotel with home style. The room and bath plus toiletries are ok, the food is standard, but there are many foodstalls around, so you got a choice. The location is considered prime, near Gedung Sate and Riau street, and very cozy, tranquil. Good price, home sweet home hotel.
