We had a great stay at the hotel and the staff were very friendly. With that being said, there were a lot of flaws. The first night we spend in our room, we woke up to a very loud sound of a tokay gekko right above our bed. The staff were helpful, but they were not able to remove it. We got another room which was a lot better isolated than the first one, but we still had lizards in our room every night. If you don’t like the wildlife on Bali, choose another hotel. We had chosen breakfast with our reservation, but the second day we ate there, we both got stomach ache. This was the last time we ate breakfast at the hotel. On our final day right before we checked out, a rat was running in the gutter beside the lobby. But again the staff were very helpful and kind, and the outdoor facilities were very beautiful.

A haven with an amazing selection of heath and wellness programs to choose from. Or just stay and enjoy the amazing food and serenity. Typical Bali accommodation. Very authentic. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Staff are excellent nothing is a problem and will attend to your every need. They collect you from the airport and take you back at the end of your time. Close to fabulous markets and an easy walk to the rice fields which is a must especially to see the sunrise or sunset. Every cuisine is at your fingertips.

I love Ubud Sari staff, location, food, Spa. I am supposed To be there now. My only issue is the yoga - It’s impossible to book a class that’s private (they say you can but you can’t) and the instructor is really Not good at all. Yoga is important and there should be both morning and afternoon/evening classes

Good : the really beautiful garden and well kept, the clean, quiet and nice swimming pool, the very good breakfast (great pancake), the great location, the bed very comfortable, the kind staff. But : the noise of the closest room (a baby crying from 6:00 AM, I heard him like he were in the same room), the noise of the broom very early in the morning (basic rooms has the bathroom open to a long corridor with a windows without glass, maybe they should do it later for people who need to sleep).

I’ve tried detox retreats in Thailand and Australia and Ubud Sari Health Resort absolutely trumps those experiences. I came here after being recommended by a friend who has been here 11 times previously so I had high expectations and was not disappointed once. Whereas in Thailand the detox had been militant, this experience was catered to my needs. They provide a juice cleanse with daily massage and colonic treatments. In Thailand I did the Colema myself, here they have staff to ensure the process is carried out correctly and safely and I felt completely in good hands. Initial reservations and awkwardness quickly wore off as the staff are so incredibly friendly. Morning walks in the rice fields followed by yoga was the perfect remedy and pace and staff listened to how you were feeling if you wanted to take it easy. The spa facilities are lovely and clean - a steam room, Infra red sauna, a cold spa and hot spa as well as two pools. Sarongs are provides, as well as towels. For food - or liquid - on the six day cleanse I drank green juice for breakfast lunch and dinner, as well as a coconut water after the morning walk and veggie broth for dinner. The good thing is you can cater your cleanse to how you feel and there’s a lot of different soup and juice options, as well as a raw food menu. Accomodation is basic but clean. The bathrooms are also basic but functional and clean. If you can, request one of the newer rooms at the top of the property, although the older wooden bungalow are super cute and comfy also. Cheers, Jonathon

An oasis in the middle of Ubud, down a quiet street, backing on to the jungle. Serene, nice spa and massage, friendly people and service. Not luxury, but a middle ground from the off-the-street spas. Highly recommended

We stayed at Ubud Sari Health Resort for 3 nights and we really enjoyed it. When you come back from busy and stupid-tourist-crowded (tourists which stand on holy temple stuff and punch other people away to take the best selfie from themselves...) Ubud city the Resort feels like heaven. It‘s just a 5min walk away from town, but it‘s so quiet, no stress at all and super-friendly staff. The whole area is build like in a fairytale, you have two different pools (most of the time you don‘t even have to share them :) ), variable relaxing areas, a hot and a cold jacuzzi (yeah, in the prive included), different varieties of treatments (which were really good as well) and really nice rooms. Sure the price for the stay there was a bit higher, but it was definitly worth it, we would certainly come back!
