I stayed a week here, so glad I found it. I will stay again if I return. The building of this was inspired. The attractive cottages are tucked away, scarcely visible, in lovely expansive grounds, green green green. All of the staff are warm and welcoming. I didn’t need my room cleaned every day, but they insisted, and cleverly did it while I was at breakfast so as not to disturb. The breakfast – delicious - fresh fruit, BEST papaya, eggs different ways & filled pancakes. Only caution – room wasn’t soundproof, but I only heard a neighbour once. Loved the light and bright room, the garden outlooks, and the total experience. Oh and it’s a good location.

Was very disappointed with the quality for price. Bathrooms are old,as are the sheets and mattresses uncomfortable. Whole place needs a makeover to bring it back to its former glory. The breakfast was not great...small and limited.

The hotel is beautiful Balinese style architecture. Nice swimming pool. Excellent location in Penestanan, very quiet. But we have rats in the bedroom, and the staff doesn't seem to take anything seriously. It is a pity because I kind of love the place, but have to say, I feel disappointed. We rented a villa for 1 month, made a deposit. When we arrived, we had no gaz to cook, no water to drink, the room was dirty and no staff to clean... The internet didn't work for 2 weeks, but still was included in the price. And the rats...

I stayed at Melati cottages and walked almost next door for wonderful Balinese vegetarian home cooked meals at Pri Ma, then just next door to that the Raja Yoga Meditation Centre which offers free courses in meditation.

The cottages are lovely, two storey high. One room on the ground floor and another one on the first floor. Each with independent access. Our room had two double bed and a lovely veranda facing the swimming pool and the garden. Decor al in Balinese style with high ceilings and wooden flooring and furniture. The room was lovely. The bathroom needs updating. There is no water pressure in the shower so that it was a little difficult. The sanitary are dated. The hotel offers WIFI access but the signal is not so good from the room but very good from reception. Complimentary breakfast is served at reception.- a simple fare but nice: egg omelette, banana pancakes and fresh fruits. It is served as buffet.
