Have walked past this hotel over many stays in Ubud & so we decided to stay for 8 nights on this holiday. Our views: ● Centrally located on Monkey Forest Road so easy walking distance to everywhere in town, yet we haven't heard any traffic noise from the busy street. ● The resort is boutique in size with beautiful gardens....

The resort is a tranquil setting right in the heart of Ubud. You can easily walk to the monkey forest, restaurants, shopping and spas, but enjoy peace and quiet in your own private patio. We enjoyed room service breakfast on the patio each morning.

Loved the place, right in the middle of every thing but the resort is well tucked away and offer lots of privacy and peace, tucked away amongst the flowers and Balinese garden.. We stayed in the villa with a pool..wow and amazing

I booked the Barong mostly on the basis of the reasonable price and the good reviews I'd seen here on Tripadvisor. I was not at all disappointed - this place is an absolute treasure. It's luxurious, charming, well-located and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. It's right in the middle of Monkey Forest Road, just a few...

That to say, that to say... So many good things on this place of charm and on the staff. I arrived to Bali for month, the middle of January / middle in February, without having of reservation and I fell in love with this hotel. Situated on the Jalan Monkey Forest, the street livened up(led) in the heart of Ubud...

Randomly ended up with a room at the Barong resort, and was not disappointed! We got a newly refurbished room with a big, beautiful bathroom, and a cosy, private garden. The breakfast was very good, and we got it delivered to our garden, fantastic! The location is central, but the Barong has managed to shut the noise from the city...

Barong Resort & Spa is one of the most luxurious, beautiful and welcoming hotels I have stayed in while travelling around Indonesia. Located on Monkey Forest Road, the hotel is perfectly placed for seeing the best Ubud has to offer – from cheeky primates to luscious restaurants, and from excellent shopping to fascinating cultural performances. The room my wife and...

We traveled to Bali in Feb'15. Barong was our first choice after loads of research of months. I can say that, It was really worth paying the money. You will like the hotel at the first glance. Its wide spread and gives lot of privacy (if you are looking for a perfect honeymoon vacation). We had booked a villa with...

Hotel design is fantastic, spacious, with private balcony, with touch of Indonesia's antique around our rooms. A truly luxury tropical design with great deal! Staff is excellent, breakfast is big...
