I have just had the most amazing week at Prashanti. Swem and the team have been incredibly caring and attentive. Call out to the breakfast. If you stay, make sure you have the omlette. The setting is great with awesome views and wildlife. I have enjoyed being part of the community up here in Ubud

This review is based on the rental of a bungalow. Other units may be in better shape. The location is awesome, away from the craziness that is Ubud. The view is stunning. Now for the negative: The place is not maintained and is seriously falling apart. If you visit the website, you will realize that it is pure false advertising as there is no yoga facility, no parking (cars can't go up the narrow path, which is a good thing) They do not accept credit cards, cash only! Breakfast is a bowl of fresh fruit and a choice of eggs. The worst part about the place is that there is a man living there who claims to be the friend of the owner who has some serious behavioral challenges. He bothers the guests, yelling and screaming at them, swims naked in the pool, and enters occupied units without asking. To top it all off, the towels smell like cats. So we had to put them outside. I hesitate to write negative reviews as I don't want to put people out of work, but it appears there is only one person working there.

What to expect if not defamatory remarks from people who booked for 4 people (using fake names ???) and arrived at 6, refused to present their passport, delayed every day the payment and tried to leave early, before breakfast time, the last day without paying. We understand your rage when your friends called you and asked you to come back and pay, as you had already left the hotel, before breakfast, with luggage and kids . We understand your anger at having actually had to pay for your room when it was not your intention. If you dislike the hotel why didn’t you say that on your arrival ? Why did you stay few days ? On the contrary, on your arrival everything was beautiful … maybe you just wanted to put us to sleep …

Prashanti Bali had an incredible view of jungle with infinity style pool to make the most of this. The tree house style bungalows were great, while they did not include air conditioning there was a fan available. If you are scared of bees or lizards I wouldn’t consider this place however this was not really a problem and they included mosquito netting around the beds. We had no real check in however we did arrive late early hours of the morning and out of check in times - I really recommend using the taxi driver the hotel provide from the airport as even though the hotel is only 5 minutes off the main street it is very difficult to find first time especially in the dark as their is no lights anywhere. The taxi driver was great and had all check in details, wifi passwords and room keys etc from owners. Breakfast is very basic but does the job. Again, the view was amazing. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly and owner was great for talking to us, taking some pictures, and booking us bikes etc if we wanted them. Location was great, not on main street so away from all the loud noise however if you turn left out of the hotel you can walk through all the rice fields for miles with yoga houses, restaurants and shops. If you turn right out of the hotel you can access the main street with endless shops, restaurants and places to organise trips. A 30 min away to the monkey sanctuary. Places to hire peds or hire taxis on main road also which I 100% reccomend. Very cheap and easy. I also reccomend the restaurant directly outside the hotel,. This place does an amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner and is so peaceful and tranquil with wifi and a view of the rice fields. The food was brilliant and I ended up eating there most days. Overall - highly recommend and great value for money. Remember just ask and the owners or people around will help you out with anything.

We loved Prashanti. The peace and serenity were just what we needed yet only 10 minutes walk in to town. The cottages were charming and the staff super friendly and accommodating. A special mention to the fabulous cook who prepared for us a variety of beautiful breakfasts each day - fresh fruit, banana pancakes, eggs any way and mi goreng to mention a few. We would definitely return and excellent value for money.

The location was very good as it was off the main area, street of Ubud. You still get the scooters on the path but at least it is very quiet compared to the town. Lots of great local places to eat on the path, really nice as again you do not need to walk to town. It is within walking distance though. Staff is very friendly, interested and show a lot of dedication to ensure your stay is positive. Breakfast served was good, we enjoyed the fruit salads and the Balinese coffee. Costs are affordable, well priced.

Great green place - pool with amazing jungle view. Atmosphere and staff in this place are really amazing. Wooden houses are very climate. If you bother insects, you should consider different place, but they are not really a problem. I had some problems, but the staff did great job and were very helpful.

Thanks so much PRASHANTI for making our first ever trip to BALI memorable❤ We are now in Seminyak but our first 6 days was spent in Ubud and we couldn't have picked a better accommodation! The whole place is picturesque by the ricefields but only 5 minutes walk and you're in Ubud central. They even provided "plate" for the mosquito coil and citronella candles (a must in Ubud I think😊) I brought from home😘... The whole staff is so courteous and lovely but special thanks to Made for the beautiful Mee Goreng every breakfast and NYOMAN for driving us everywhere, we did all our tours with him.. we told him all the places we want to visit and he grouped them into packages depending on their location at very affordable prices. Thank you so much NYOMAN and thanks PRASHANTI❤

We really really enjoyed our stay at Prashanti. This is the kind of review you don’t want to write in case it results in us not being able to book next year due to the hotel being oversubscribed. The room was well appointed and perfectly comfortable with king bed for us and sofa bed for our 5 year old. There is a small kitchen with fridge freezer and gas hob. The view from the balcony is extra special overlooking a valley in the jungle. You can see for miles. The hotel has a great open air yoga studio which you can use whenever. Probably the only thing I would change would be the pool from Chlorine to salt water but that is a minor point. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and made for us everyday ranging from eggs and noodles and fruit to porridge oats.

Thanks very much for your very kind review and very useful descriptions. We are very happy than you have enjoyed your stay with us. We have considered to use salt in the pool and maybe we will do... Until now our maintenance team keeps a very clean water with a minimum of chlorine which means usually people not even notice it. We will be very happy to welcome you again. See you next time :)

I stayed at Prashanti during my yoga instructor course and I absolutely loved it! The place is great, the view stunning and the team the nicest and most approachable. They were so helpful and friendly and accommodated all of our requests during the course. Also the food they make is something I'll be missing a lot! I sincerely recommend Prashanti! Enjoy your stay!
