Detailed Reviews
First, we booked for one week .... then I extended to almost one month because:
1. The staffs were very nice & helpful. Bli Kama allowed us to choose which villa we prefer. He helped us to have a dedicated bandwith for us to work from Bali without problem, and helped us in any ways possible
2. The villa itself is spacious, more than 250 sqm with two nice gazebo and pantry, just for both of us. Every morning the pool is cleaned up, and we used it all the time. Bli Kama gave us microwave which was very useful for long stay.
3. The location is perfect, very quiet but close to Popular supermarket, Indomaret and a delicious pizza restaurant.
4. Although the property is not new, they managed to maintain the important areas to be used by the guests despite the long pandemic situation.
I recommend this place because it was the best value for money - definitely will return again.
Thanks for a very pleasant stay in Bali

Ubud village resort is like no other place, its like spending time in paradise! The villas are very spacious with a private outdoor space with places to sit and lounge under beautiful bamboo and reed structures and a pool big enough to swim in.
There is a choice of bathrooms: you can have a bath outside or a shower indoors or outdoors.
The bed is very big and comfortable with a mosquito net. Not that there are many mosquitoes inside as there are regular treatments to keep them under control.
There is a lot of staff who are all very friendly, professional, helpful and polite. A traditional peaceful Balinese atmosphere has been created.
The food in the restaurant is of a food quality and very affordable.

We came to Bali on our Honeymoon and stayed at the Ubud village resort and spa for 4 nights. From the minute we arrived the staff were amazing, they couldn’t do enough for us. They were all so polite and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed, from information about the area, place to go, things we should and shouldn’t do. Nothing was too much for them. Kama who works there arranged several trips and tours for us which were amazing, the driver was super friendly and we really enjoyed them. There was also a new member of staff Agus, he had only been at the hotel a few days but he was excellent. As were all the staff!
The food in the restaurant was lovely for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A different breakfast menu daily meant we got to try some amazing food. Restaurant was in a beautiful, relaxing setting.
The main pool area is lovely, clean and relaxing! Swim up bar to order drinks and food. The wooden decking needs attention in places but that is only a minor issue. The whole setting and grounds of the hotel are amazing!
Our villa, 115 was amazing, such a big room, everything we needed. Outdoor shower, bath tub and fish ponds while the private pool was perfect for a quick dip during the hot hours. Again some of the wooden decking needed some attention. Only slight issue was the TV wasn’t the best signal but on a holiday to Bali the TV is the last thing on my mind!
We were at the hotel during Nyepi, the religious festival where the island is completely closed and people stay at home. The hotel staff still worked meaning we could still enjoy the luxuries of the resort which we were really grateful for. Including an amazing Balinese massage in the spa which is also lovely!
Hotel location is ideal as it’s only a short walk into the centre of Ubud (maybe 20mins). The pavements are somewhat questionable so I would advise taking a torch if coming back late at night. We both felt completely safe as well even when walking back around 11:30pm ish. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops really close as well.
Perfect for us and everything we expected plus more. Couldn’t recommend this place enough to anyone coming to Bali for a relaxing stay with the option of being walking distance to Ubud.
Hope to stay here again someday!

My friend and I stayed at the Ubud village for 6 nights and we do not have a bad word to say. The hotel staff are beyond the nicest people we have ever met and so helpful and welcoming. The food is unbelievable offering both traditional Indonesian and western dishes. We were bed and breakfast the breakfast was so generous and delicious with a new menu everyday. We also ate at the restaurant a few nights for dinner and the food was superb. The hotel also offers a shuttle into Ubud centre through out the day which is very handy but if not a taxi is very cheap from the hotel and the staff were more than helpful at sorting this out. Our room was fabulous with our own beautiful private pool, outdoor and indoor shower, outdoor bath and his and hers sinks, we were blown away and it’s the ultimate place to kick back and relax. The hotel ground are stunning and would make you not want to leave as it has everything. We availed of the spa for a traditional Balinese massage which really topped of our relaxed experience here. We did not want to leave this place as the setting, atmosphere and staff made it feel like a home away from home, and hopefully we will one day be back. I recommend anyone to stay here at the Ubud village resort and spa, you won’t regret it and you will have the most amazing time here. Thanks to all the staff for making it so special.

We love the hotel , its nice open space.
What the hotel need is to put garbage bin around , we hardly to find one.
The breakfast need to put toast in the menu or we can pay extra no problem.
But over all … we love the hotel and we will come back soon for sure 🤍

My husband and I stayed at the Ubud village resort and spa for 6 nights as part of a longer visit to Bali for our honeymoon over New Year. We had an absolutely amazing stay and can’t speak highly enough of this lovely resort! From the moment we arrived, we received excellent service. When we arrived, we were slightly early and our room wasn’t quite ready yet. We were treated to a complimentary foot massage in their spa with refreshments which was a lovely touch. We had a wonderful time and the hotel and grounds were beautiful. Our room was enormous, with a sunken outside bath and outdoor shower and then our own private pool and sun terrace which was great! The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Their customer service was second to none and it was lovely chatting to them. We had a beautiful private meal in our villa on the first night, decorated with candles and flowers and attention to detail. The food was excellent and we really enjoyed the change of menu each morning for breakfast. There is also a shuttle bus which takes you into the centre of Ubud, which is really handy. We would definitely recommend staying here! Many thanks to all the staff who made our trip so memorable.

ReallysSurpassed our expectations. The staff greeted us lie old friends and nothing was too much trouble. Could not recommend it highly enough. The hotel is set in its own grounds with each villa having its own small pool and a beautiful outdoor pool approx. 25 - 30m. Fantastic food in te restaurant and panoramic fires of the surrounding rice paddies and farms. About 1.5k from the centre of Ubud which is very walkable and a shuttle available on the hour during the day or a taxi transfer for about 60,000 / €4. Looking forward to visiting again.

We have just spent 5 nights at the Nyuh and wished we had stayed longer. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 13 and 10 and stayed in one of the 2 bedroom villas.
The bedrooms were great, identical apart from one twin and one king, very comfortable beds. All toiletries provided, 2 mosquito plugs per room and coils. The kitchen is the one area that lacked facilities - there was a kettle and tea/coffee but nothing else. The addition of a microwave and toaster plus some cutlery would be a good addition. That said, any time we asked for anything, it was no issue.
We ate in the restaurant several times and had room service, and the food was lovely, no complaints. They adapted meals for our fussy daughter with no issues. The breakfast was also good with plenty of choice. Our stay included a floating breakfast, which was a lovely experience.
The hotel provides lots of complimentary activities. I did a morning yoga class, which was very good. Unfortunately we did several trips during our stay so we didn't get a chance to do more. As we had our own pool, we didn't use the hotel pools, so we can't comment on those.
My husband and i both had massages in the spa one afternoon, and they were amazing.
The hotel is out of central Ubud, but for us, that was a big plus. It was so nice being away from the hustle & bustle. We used the shuttle bus several times and found the times worked well for us, it was very useful. We did get a taxi back one evening.
Finally the staff were the stars- they couldn't do enough and were always so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend a stay here.

I simply cannot fault this resort. We stayed in a Garden Villa with our own plunge pool and it was absolutely lovely to spend quiet time there. The rooms are interspersed amongst rice paddies so the grounds are simply beautiful and the evening sounds of frogs and geckos were wonderful! The main swimming pool looked and felt more like a natural river snaking through the vegetation, I would have to say this is probably the mot beautiful pool I have ever been to in 30 years of travelling. The food was exquisite, regardless of whether you were eating breakfast, lunch or dinner and the people who work there were friendly, efficient and incredibly helpful. The location was also great, close enough to go into the centre of Ubud for shops, market stalls, restaurants, the palace and of course Monkey Forest (the resort offers a shuttle bus throughout the day if you don't fancy the walk) but far enough out that you feel like you're in a quiet remote location when you're relaxing by the pool. Simply fantastic. Would definitely return here if I were going back to Bali.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights to celebrate his 65th birthday. On the day the staff sang happy birthday to him and provided a birthday cake too; it was such a lovely surprise. We found the staff to be very attentive and Pikki was amazing, she assisted with arranging transportation and was a wealth of information too. Our accommodation was very comfortable and well maintained and always impeccably clean. While we enjoyed our own pool we also made regular use of the resort pool, which was kept perfectly clean. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant on 2 nights along with the entertainment that was provided, thank you to Cita for the recommendation and service too. Breakfast was also excellent with a changing menu each day. We made use of the onsight spa with a massage which was to our liking. We have stayed here previously and are pleased to say that the same high standards have been maintained. We look forward to returning soon. Thank you so much.
