A small hotel in the middle of the rice fields with very reasonable price but feels like home, really amazing cozy rooms facing on the rice filed. At night the sound of nature accompanying sleep makes all stress disappear. The real vacation in peace. The staff are amazingly friendly and attentive. especially Mr. Sulis the GM should be given two thumbs up for him.

We stayed as family with two daughters (4&8) for 4 nights. Such stunning location in the middle of rice paddies on either side. Every morning we see people working in the fields.
Staff is very friendly and accommodative.
We were a little unlucky after that somehow flying ants decided to take over our room after our first night. The staff helped us transfer to another room where we continued to enjoy our stay (ant free).
Rooms r big , have n outdoor private balcony too. We walked from the room to the breakfast area through stepping stones in the rice field. The kids loved it, and so did we!
Morning breakfast was nice, though could use a little more variety as we stayed 4nights.
Swimming pool was wonderful and you can sit nicely at the pool.
At walking distance there are multiple nice restaurants, such as Warung lumbung padi that serves food that is grown by themselves. Or a more luxurious placelike Mango Cafe. Or another favorite: warung tepi sari.
Within minutes drive you r in ubud centre. Which was great because ubud centre felt too crowded and touristic while Manyi village and surrounding is very peaceful.
For sporty types I recommend checking Strava for ten km runs. Mine brought me through the rice fields, down to the river en over bridges nd (man made waterfall ). Some balancing required . Amazing experience just starting from your room!
The area is still recovering from covid. That’s noticeable as some shops down the road remained shut. The resort has been well kept.

The best service we’ve experienced living in Bali. The rooms were good, the territory is big, comfortable zone with pool and sun beds. Still, the best part is service. We had a contact with the manager in WhatsApp, and he helped us with all our needs, starting from breakfast time and preferences, organising private yoga classes, till helping with some gear and advices for the mountain climbs. The personal was very kind and helpful. Thank you!

If you’re looking for a place for relaxing, this is the right place. The surrounding is just perfect and calming. Far from traffic and loud noises. The room itself is quite big but maybe need some maintenance (repainting the wall for example). The bed was a bit hard but that was not a big problem for us. The breakfast was also good, not many options but the taste was nice. The rice field view was the best.

We stayed in this Hotel 2 times for our Holiday and we always have been very happy with this hotel.
Today we arrived without reservation. The guy at the reception wanted to charge 1.000.000 for the cheapest room. We remembered him, the price on Agoda or the Homepage is nearly just the half Price und we come for the third time for holiday. As we wanted to book on the Homepage, he showed us the the Room beside the road and told us there are no other rooms available, which was not the truth.
However… We will not come again and we spend the next week somewhere else.
This is really untrustworthy and unprofessional.

A calm quiet place to stay. Nice and clean room. Good shower! Swimming pool is a bit hidden in the shadows. Nobody seems to use it. Food in restaurant is okay and people in restaurant are friendly. At Spa and reception there where a few not so friendly like most Indonesian people are. But maybe they are always a bit surly. Not everybody is the same. We organised a taxi to visit Ubud Centre because it's simply to far to walk. Well arranged with taxi shuttle. If you want to stay in a quiet place and don't want to be close to all vibrant life book Manyi Village. If you want to undertake touristic things, book something in the centre.

Manyi Village in Ubud is a place we only ever dreamt existed. I kid you not - I'm a busy person - spent most of the month before our Bali holiday interstate on work. So it was with trepidation that I agreed to stay in Ubud for 5 days rather than what I thought Bali was all about in Kuta or similar. We landed under the cover of night and Bali and were so thankful for complimentary water and soft drinks (soda pop for the Yanks reading this :) on arrival as we didn't really have much chance to get supplies at night on the way there. To say the sight I beheld the next morning was a revelation is an understatement. Open the curtains and we were living amidst a real working terraced rice paddy fields - it was a magnificant verdant view of green, blue and white clouds fringed by palm trees. The rice plants were at the height of growth ready to be harvested and some harvesting activity was taking place up the road.
Our villa itself was immaculately clean with stone tiled/wood floors (no carpets thankfully) and fresh scent of Balinese flowers wafted throughout. We stayed in Jineng2 and it consisted of a ground floor (no stairs) U shape with bedrooms (with attached ensuites with shower and bath tubs and toilets with bidets) in each arm and the main TV lounge/kitchnette at the base of the U where the front door was. There were no English channels on the TV when we stayed - but that was a plus from my point of view. Plenty of natural light as windows made up most of the walls with heavy curtains for privacy when needed. In between the U arms was our own private mini infinity pool with 2 sun lounges and table all under a cloth sail to let the air circulate but also let in light. The lounge opened up to the wonderfully clean private pool via folding doors. The villa was more than adequately air-conditioned though up in the mountains - the humidity is lower than in Ubud township. Nevertheless - it was dearly welcomed just the same as Bali tempatures hovered between 25 and 30 deg C. Manyi also has its in-house resturant that serves up delish Nasi Goreng for breakfast and they provide a free afternoon tea/coffee that we never seemed to partake (either out or in the pool). One of the highlights is the large infinity pool adjacent to the resturant which we spent endless hours in. One night we watched from the edge of the pool the brilliant orange and azzure sunset and another night we swam as it bucketed down during a evening downpour (was monsoonal weather after all in January) but still gloriously warm.
There is also Tara day spa on-site as well - and the view from the open glassless windows is zen inspiring - green terraced paddy fields with local village temples on the horizon and sounds of soft drumming lulling me to sleep during my full Baliness body massage.
Nearby is Organic Warung 5 mins walk if you fancy some local Balinese fare - and Ubud township is only a 15 min free shuttle away. The shuttle can be called up anytime on the hour to and from Ubud township - Manyi Village provide it's guest with a free loan mobile to use to call up the return shuttle (and other places to organise trips and so on). Ubud township itself is large enough rural town to have it's own wonderful open air market for the usual things like BinTang T-Shirts (good quality 100% cotton ones as well), sarongs and so on that will hone your bargaining skills for sure. And there are quite a lot of really good resturants to eat at that rival ones I'd find at the upper end in Melbourne but won't break the budget like Hujan Locale - our fave there was the crispy skin fish (we went back twice for it!). There is a large Delta Dewata supermarket in town near the big Hindu statue roundabout where you can pick up essentials and other things at the non-tourist prices that locals pay (we stocked up on soaps and tooth brushes). Bottled water *cough* and BinTang *cough* is also cheap as and Breadlife in Ubud town is great for a quick bakery snack on the move and to bring home - our fridge in our villa was a full size one (not one of those small hotel bar fridge thingys lucky to hold 1 1/2 stubbies) so we could keep it well stocked.
The WiFi Internet in Manyi Village was also good - though being rural - don't expect super fast speeds you may get at home. And also remember you *are* living in the middle of a real-life working rice field - so do expect the occassional insect visitor. Nothing to worry about though - they are all harmless and staff can help dispatch anything that you are concerned about. No mozzie nets needed at Manyi Village which was a real relief - being high up in the mountains helps I guess!
All in in all - it was so good to leave the hustle and bustle of Ubud township every day to come back to the tranquility and serenity of Manyi Village and it's very friendly and smiling staff led by the sweet lady host Komeng. My family can't wait to come back next year - we have found the place we want to spend our holidays for years to come!!!

The owners name is Eddie. He is Indonesian and has several hotels in Ubud. He travels frequently with his wide to Europe. The beds were extremely hard and had no pillow top. The decking around our private pool was looses in many places and Eddie dismissed our complaints. I had terrible nights sleep and all Eddie said was no one else has complained. He finally after 3 days and further prompts put extra bed protectors on bed but still not adequate. Said I would leave if he gave refund and he said no chance and walked off. He was so arrogant that on the second night we paid for transport to return from Ubud as it was outside of the shuttle hours. The car diverted to pick owner and wife up and we paid for lift. He should have addressed it and forgone the fee. Eddie would be better off investing in some comfortable beds and looking after his guests who support his extravagant lifestyle. TV had no English channels as Eddie is too tight to pay for it. I would never return back.

This hotel is a beautiful location in Ubud with extremely friendly staff. An relaxed environment near the busier Ubud. They have a shuttle service to bring you to the lively center of Ubud. They also pick you up nicely when you want to go back. The pool is pretty amazing! Breakfast and diner are tasty! This hotel is definitely recommended.

We do apologize delay to replying your email ,probably guest booking from Gili Island ,they included transportation until drop at the hotel
We do apologize ,we not yet provide floating breakfast
Hi! Hope this response is not too late for you!
The superior rooms are on the second floor with Juliette balcony facing the amazing long range view of the rice paddies and mount agung. Some rooms near the restaurant have patio with picnic tables too. The deluxe room also face the rice paddies, but these rooms on the ground floor, and closer to the lobby area. Sunrise is spectacular from both room type. I believe you got the right website, but I'm not sure how up to date is that package price. If I were you, I would contact the reservation people at Manyi at rsv(at)manyivillageubud.xxx. Even if you just book rooms, the staff will help you make other arrangements. All the staff are genuinely happy to help guests, even with tour booking, transport, etc. Definitely stay there, probably the most amazing sunrise we've seen!
