We've never stayed anywhere so beautiful and the service was great. We had the Saraswati room, the entire 2nd floor of a small "house." I believe the veranda was even bigger than the room, with two lounging beds, a table and chairs, and a small fridge in a wooden cabinet. In the room was a four poster bed, nighttables, another...

I stayed as part of a yoga retreat and the effort every staff member makes to accommodate your needs is above and beyond anything I have seen before. The rooms are named after gods and are like small houses with a living room and separate bedroom. Mine had ac and a ceiling fan that worked wonders after being in the...

I was doing a detox across the street and the accommodations they picked were a little dirty - so I treated myself to shanti for a few nights. It's truly heaven back there. Wonderful people and incredible nature. I felt like a princess.

Alam shanti is beautiful, luxurious and peaceful with incredible gardens. We stayed in the Dewi room and although the stairs are a little steep it was worth it to catch the breeze. It is very clean, and staff come in discretely to make the bed and tidy up when you are out. The aircon is fantastic. The staff are wonderful,...

This is our second stay at Alam Shanti. This year 4 of us stayed in Shindu which is a gorgeous room, with plenty of space for us all. The bathroom is amazing! Staff are lovely, the breakfast is best we've had in Bali and there is complimentary afternoon tea each day. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants and...

Relaxing on one of two day beds in the expansive veranda of Yamuna room writing this review following a marvelous breakfast served at our villa. The view of rice fields is serene. Bed is king with art all around, even above the bed. The bathroom is very large complete with waterfall and several stone statues. Private pools adjoin. Hand carved...

We stayed for 2 nights in different rooms, Shindu and Laksmi because they don't have availability in the two consecutive nights. Shindu is much more expensive than Laksmi, but better as well in the view and furniture. Bed is king size in Shindu and fancier than Laksmi. Both rooms worth the money though. They are not the cheapest boutique hotels...

They are situated near Ubud, far from the hustle bustle of Kuta if your into tourist trade go there otherwise experience Alam Shanti, friendly people who will look...

Coming back to Alam Shanti is like coming home again. Seeing friendly faces, the peaceful serene gardens, the spacious comfortable villas. Everything so clean and neat. Cares just wash away. Morning breakfast on the patio is delicious and sets the mood for the rest of the day. The position of Alam Shanti is perfect for us as Michael, my partner...
