This is our second stay at Alam Shanti. This year 4 of us stayed in Shindu which is a gorgeous room, with plenty of space for us all. The bathroom is amazing! Staff are lovely, the breakfast is best we've had in Bali and there is complimentary afternoon tea each day. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants and...

Relaxing on one of two day beds in the expansive veranda of Yamuna room writing this review following a marvelous breakfast served at our villa. The view of rice fields is serene. Bed is king with art all around, even above the bed. The bathroom is very large complete with waterfall and several stone statues. Private pools adjoin. Hand carved...

We stayed for 2 nights in different rooms, Shindu and Laksmi because they don't have availability in the two consecutive nights. Shindu is much more expensive than Laksmi, but better as well in the view and furniture. Bed is king size in Shindu and fancier than Laksmi. Both rooms worth the money though. They are not the cheapest boutique hotels...

With much in-trepidation I traveled to Bali with family for a wedding the place we were given was Alam Shanti. Didn't know what to expect, was greatly surprised with the end result. They are situated near Ubud, far from the hustle bustle of Kuta if your into tourist trade go there otherwise experience Alam Shanti, friendly people who will look...

Coming back to Alam Shanti is like coming home again. Seeing friendly faces, the peaceful serene gardens, the spacious comfortable villas. Everything so clean and neat. Cares just wash away. Morning breakfast on the patio is delicious and sets the mood for the rest of the day. The position of Alam Shanti is perfect for us as Michael, my partner...

Second stay at Shanti, and fourth stay at one of the Alam properties- and once again our stay was wonderful. Cannot fault the staff or the property- we stayed in Gangga and Yamuna rooms and they were fantastic and the private pool was great for the kids. Thanks to the staff for their amazing hospitality.

We brooked on a friend recommendation and was met by the most accommodating staff. The rooms were beautiful spacious and had everything we required and more. The hotels free shuttle service was fantastic and made it so easy to get around Ubud. Loved this little spot we will be back.

We have stayed in Alam Jiwa on numerous occasions and love it, but this time, when we booked a trip to Ubud on short notice and couldn't get in there, we decided it was probably time to try their sister property, Alam Shanti instead. Like Alam Jiwa, the property is set back from the main road but is more open...

Stayed 4 nights in Laksmi room with king bed. No pool on site but you walk across the lane way to their other hotel's pool. Afternoon tea is included from 3pm. Breakfast is one of the best we've had in Bali. You can walk 10 minutes along side the monkey forest to get into the main shopping of Ubud or...

Absolutely beautiful place! The rooms were perfect and the staff was so friendly. The only issue we had was the upstairs room was super hot. The staff accommodated by sending up a floor fan that saved the trip!! Great great great place! Massage was a great price and completely relaxing.
