We stayed at Villa Sesapi at Tegal Sari for 3 nights and had a super deluxe room for our fourth night. The villa was absolutely out of this world! We had our own infinity pool, enormous room with an equally enormous bathroom and there was a ktichen and sitting room. Room service was very reasonable, very tasty and the staff...

Just the beginning of this year, my friends and I had just graduated from university and we planned to have an extravaganza before heading to the working world. All of us did so much reviews on affordable but good stays in Bali because we're still on a budget trip. A total amount of 18 of us booked for this chalet-like...

This was our 4th time staying at Tegal Sari. Great location, nice clean rooms, good food and the staff, what can I say? Our daughters are always remembered from previous years by their "aunties and uncles". We had tours nicely arranged by front office staff. When we had a hard time finding a Mexican restaurant(Mojo's Burritos-another yummy find!) that our...

This is the 2nd year that my husband and 2 children (aged 7 and 10) have stayed at this wonderful place. We had room 21 (lower ground) with the wonderful view of the rice paddies. We had breakfast everyday at their 2nd restaurant (on Monkey Forest Road - Warung Semesta) - love those pancakes. The staff remembered little things from...

Friendly Staff. Excellent location and value. The place is clean and beautiful. Ask for the wooden room which overlooks the rice fields. Minutes from the Monkey Forest and city centre. Be sure to rent a scooter and go exploring.

Hi everybody! The Tegal Sari has been somewhere that we have stayed for years, but it just gets better and better. The new Restaurant (and new entrance through Monkey Forest Road) are now up and running well. The two Villas are both working well too, and almost always full, so if you want one of these, then book VERY early....

We stayed at the Tegal Sari for 4 nights with our 3 teenage children. My husband and I had booked ourselves the "duplex" room with outdoor bathroom, which was simply magic. The upstairs bedroom and balcony have a great view of the rice paddies and Monkey Forrest in the background - it is truly stunning. The children "only" had one...

My husband & I stayed at Tegal Sari for our honeymoon. We called Tegal Sari only two weeks before our trip and had been advised that all their rooms are full but they have the villas available. So we requested them to send description of the villas and some pictures for us to choose. Pak Suardana who took the request...

First of all, we are family with 3 children (1 teenage, and 2 young children). We've booked and paid the accommodation at Tegal Sari months away in advance. It was our first time to Ubud. We've been picked up (as arranged) by driver from Ubud, he was very nice. Since it was late and we're pretty hungry but he let...

We have stayed in Ubud before, but enjoyed the experience at Tegal so much, that we stayed another night. I can't fault Tegal. The staff are friendly and really do go out of their way to help. I will be visiting Tegal again next year, it is a def. 'must' when you are in Ubud.
