Pros:
Great property:
Propert itself is beautiful, green laws, tall trees, flowers, shrubs, just gorgeous. They also had a pretty good breakfast spread with some veg options as well which I was very grateful for.
Awesome location:
Pertiwi is perched in the middle of town where all the shopping, live music and action happens. While the resort itself is quiet and peaceful, it is so easy to walk out, explore and shop. You can just walk back to the hotel which is a big plus. We were a bunch of girls exploring the town till pretty late and found the vicinity to be quite safe.
Cons:
Bathroom gets a bit flooded:
The bath tub (atleast in our rooms - 127 and 124) was set up in such a way that water would flow off the front of the bathtub and flood the floor.
Only 2 bath towels per room. No hand towels. No extra towels.
This was a huge dampener, because the towels were just not enough and the house keeping just refused to keep more towels. With the bathroom flooding after every bath (no matter how we angled the hand shower), this caused a lot of unnecessary inconvenience to us. It took us a lot of negotiating every day to get additional towels which was unnecessarily painful.
Overall, I would probably still go back, because this place is pocket friendly, but will probably put in a request for more towels right upfront or carry my own.

Staff friendly
Room & bathroom was large but everywhere could maybe do with a refresh nothing major that effected our stay!
Air con
Infinity pool with towels
Spa on site (did not use)
Room was cleaned every day, bed made & fresh towels
Only problem we had was the hotel/ bar next door had an event on the Friday night and was quite loud, hard to sleep. We were in the front hotel rooms so probably worse.
The manager and staff are all very friendly and helpful. The room is not fancy but has everything required and was beautifully cleaned every day and was always a pleasure to return to. There were some mosquitos in our room but the manager assisted us by providing mosquito spray (thank you!).
A lovely place that I will be returning to, thank you to all at Pertiwi Resort!

We get to enjoy this beautiful resort with the monkeys that pop in as a group. They were harmless, as they sun-bathed on roof tops, swung from tree to tree and walked around the resort to make their claim on the property, LOL!
The pool is really nice with the lovely lounge chairs. You can request for the rooms by the rear exit in case the restaurants in the nearby area of the front exit blasted their music too loudly. You can also request for the drivers to pick and drop you from the rear exit. The staff would do anything to help you with the luggage or to just walk you through the resort, in the evening/night when it gets dark, The area is not evenly-paved, so you will have to walk and tread carefully. It is not wheel-chair friendly, just to give you a heads up.
Attitude was one of complete disrespect and disregard. Made, the Reservations staff member was highly unprofessional in his approach and communications, or lack of communications.
Then the resort had the audacity to send me multiple 'Thank you for staying with us' emails.
We did, however, find accommodation for most of our group which was far superior at Sakti Resort and Spa, who were incredibly welcoming and professional, and highly recommended.
* night club evenings organized on Friday evenings in the neighboring building, so impossible to sleep before 2:30 a.m.
* Ineffective air conditioning (also very noisy): after intervention by a maintenance agent and several hours of operation, the temperature of the room is 26.5°C, for a setpoint of 16°C
* Bath mat: dirty and with holes; it was removed, but it was necessary to request its replacement the next evening
* Equipment: on the 2nd day, after cleaning the room, a saucer was dirty
* Equipment: for 2 people and 2 nights, only one bottle of shower gel was provided
*A cabinet handle is missing.
The level of services does not correspond to that displayed: I strongly advise against this establishment.

On my first 2 nights I had chain smokers within 2 merters and had to lock myself in my room as I could not sit on the balcony and enjoy the place. As for the hotel it is dated and would have been a grand palace in its day.
The room was spacious but in need of not only update but repairs. The TV was a joke-small old and very bad picture could not watch it. There is no lounge or chair to sit on so you have to lay on the bed but there is one bulky chair at the desk. The bathtub is extremely high and no hand rails to assist getting in and out. Good towels though, no hand towels.
There is a small cafe at the back of the property and a bit of a climb to get there. The food I had was good and I would have gone there more times but the smokers turned me off so decided to go elswhere.
The pool was good and relaxing and very few people and quite enjoyable, but once again desperate need of maintenance.
The location was very central and walking distance to countless cafes, supermarkets, museums art galleries etc. As in a lot of properties it is the low paid housekeeping that make the place, always friendly, hard working and actually care about your stay.
Would I stay here again?? - maybe next time I will know what I am in for and not expect what I paid for.
Towels & sheets grey and even torn from years of use. Bathroom wasn’t even clean on arrival, or when they came to clean it 3 people surely cleaning the toilet is mandatory.
Please mop the floors and wipe the bathroom benches at a minimum it was so gross.
Broken TV from the 90s not that I care. Staff at desk barely grunted at me when I asked a question about check out time.
Do not book if mobility is an issue, this place is not for you!!!!
... there is the obligatory small drink as a welcome, breakfast was apparently included (my husband had done the check-in and was still asleep when I had breakfast in the (sensational) breakfast café opposite).
We checked out an hour later - that was no problem either.
The location of the hotel is absolutely unbeatable central, the complex is very well maintained and clean.
Conclusion: For a price of 35 EUR/night, more than you would expect. So full marks!

As we had a lot planned in Ubud we weren’t in the room a lot which we were grateful about.
I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
