Our room over looked the rice fields with a private terrace that was dreamy to sit at and enjoy breakfast or watch the storms roll by. This place has so much character, such a sweet owner and staff and is in the most ideal location. Would definitely recommend this place, upstairs rooms are the best.

This is exactly what we wanted. Very central. If you get an upstairs room the view of the rice field next door is a great way to wake. Feels Balinese more so than some swank hotel that could be anywhere. Very friendly staff, super helpful, quiet setting around the property all day long. Room was kept very tidy and our...

Very Balinese in the middle of the town within walking distance of the market and shops. Try to go to the dance show - wonderful. Very nice people, clean room, beautiful family Temple. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.

I think Kedak was a good host and helped a lot .I think his house just the perfect place to experience the culture of Bali as they also hav a temple inside. The breakfast was very refreshing ! This hotel was visually stunning and interesting as it looks like an ancient temple complex. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and accommodated us when we arrived quite late in the evening and wanted to stay an extra day at the last minute. When they notice that you are awake, they bring a hot mug of water to your...

Pangkung House was just like we imagined a bed & breakfast in Ubud to be. Wayana & Kadek's home and their temple are beautiful and peaceful. The view from my room's balcony was just as lovely - onto the charming courtyard, the temple rooftops and an adjacent rice field. Moments of serenity to be caught here at sunrises and sunset...

Fresh tea and coffee always available and great breakfast of banana pancakes / omelet and fruit salad. We stumbled across this fantastic home stay whilst looking for a place to stay for 2 nights. We were instantly drawn in by the kind natured staff/owners and the rooms were clean and adequate for our stay. The room was spacious and clean and the owners were always on hand to assist us with anything. Breakfast was provided every morning...

I stayed at Pangkung House on and off for 2 months while in Ubud. It's central location made it easy to get around by walk or motorbike (which you can rent from the owners). Breakfast was served every day - banana pancake days were my favorite - whenever you wanted it (even when I got back from yoga at noon)....

This clean home stay is in a trendy, central location. The rooms are large , quiet + safe. The rooms are minimalist, no TV but Breakfast - fruit + yummy pancakes - is eaten on the front verandah overlooking the courtyard. Kadek and his family could not have done more to make my stay pleasant and comfortable. Kadek picked me...

“The room more indepent was mine, the big one. No ac, with fan, but with a large balcony and privacy. So breezy. thats my favourite. But in last days had to move, to one above and its also ok,because it has a small balcony to family compound and garden”

“For more privacy, request a room upstairs, so that you could open windows and walk around unseen by others. Some rooms have a balcony--highly recommended. There is nothing like sitting on this balcony, put your legs up, looking at the tops of temple-like constructions everywhere, into the sky, and have your breakfast served to you right there :)”
