I stayed for two nights at Jawi House and Painters and wish I could have stayed longer. The two rooms are built above a private home down a quiet alley off Monkey Forest Road and is beautifully furnished with modern finishing. Situated conveniently between Ubud markets and monkey forest it is a short 10min walk away to both. However if...

We found This place on air bnb at first and wanted to check it out in person. We were staying at a low budget hotel up the street that wasn't very good. We found Putu and her house about 8 minute walk down monkey forest road coming from Jl Raya Ubud. She's on the left down a little alley way...

Jawi House and Painters was more or less perfect for our stay in Ubud. Everything starts with Putu's incredible hospitality, which simply cannot be matched. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with patios and furniture. You can enjoy pleasant views of Ubud from the rooftop. Jawi House is centrally located, within walking distance of most anything of significance in Ubud....

I found Putu by accident and I am so glad I did- I'll be back! The rooms are new, beautiful and clean and in a great spot.Of the places that I saw this was by far the best, it is the perfect balance of simplicity and elegance. Putu and Jawi are wonderful people and were helpful with everything, if you...

At Jawi House, you'll find the most pleasant of hosts combined with clean and comfortable accommodation. There's plenty of flexibility with what meal you can have each day (if you prefer lunch instead of breakfast - Putu will make that happen!) Putu is always available in person or via mobile phone to help you out with anything you might need....

We stayed at Jawi's house for 10 days at the beginning of September and it was a wonderful stay. There are two rooms available. We stayed in the bigger one which was always extremely clean. The furniture is very nice and the terrace and vegetation provided us with intimacy and quiet. Putu, the host, cooks breakfast every morning. She is...

I stayed at Jawi House for 2 nights in October 2013. I'd read such good reviews on TA that I wanted to check it out for myself. It did not disappoint! The two guest rooms are both a good size with lovely balconies looking out onto the tree tops. They are nicely furnished with lovely bathrooms and Putu and her...

I stayed at Jawi House at the end of Septenber/ beginning of October. I had the larger suite all to myself (there is more then enough room for 2). Putu's hospitality and breakfasts were amazing. I was a solo female traveler and she was very helpful with any questions I had. The room beautiful with a massive bed and everything...
