Just stayed a night cause we didn't have much time and what a shame! It's not too far from Ubud centre but I'd recommend to take a motorbike as there is parking available. They have the loveliest people working there. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The bedrooms and bathrooms are super clean and have everything... More

We stayed 3 nights in Ubud and chose this place by chance. We arrived at night and the road leading to the place seemed in the middle of nothing. The manager and the whole staff welcomed us warmly showing us a beautiful room in a well kept homestay. The day after they also moved us in a better room at... More

Having never experienced a Homestay I figured why not, do something new. Only drawbacks were the Homestay is a 20 minute walk to the center of town and the water pressure in the bathroom was a little bit weak. However, the family and staff were incredibly kind and hospitable, exceptionally nice and helpful. Breakfast was served on my porch which... More

This was my first time visiting Bali and I have to say that my stay here was just wonderful! The family and staff were so helpful and happy and a pleasure to be around! Great price too and a short walk to the centre! Would very happily return and recommend!

The owner, his family and the rest of the staff, everybody is friendly and helpful, without being annoying. They all smile everytime. We were welcomed by Agung, a really nice man. For the cheap price (17€ per night) service ans amenities are correct. Breakfast is fantastic: fresh fruits and banana pancakes For the bathroom, it would be nice to renovate... More

Our stay at Pondok Permata was everything we wished for: an inexpensive room (200,000), a little bit out from the town buzz (but not too far - you can rent their scooters for the day), good wifi, hot shower, and the best hosts we've met on our trip through Indonesia. The room was clean, no AC but a fan &... More

And they tried to offer us new one - and we never get there because there was another customer who hadn't check out and they didn't get into the room.. Then they tried to charge us for a ride to our next hotel which we booked while waiting. At the end we got two scooterboys and we travelled first to... More

I stayed here with my boyfriend for three nights. Ubud is a wonderful town with so much character and lots to do, although a lot of tourists. We chose to stay in Pondok Permata homestay after reading reviews saying it was nice to walk into Ubud in the mornings and that previous guests enjoyed the peace and quiet. Right from... More

I traveled by myself and found a really nice home and beautiful warm people at Pondok Permata Homestay. The service is excellent, the staff is super friendly, meets you with the biggest smile and always make sure you have everything you need. The rooms are clean, nice and functional.
