best breakfast I had on my entire 12 day trip to Bali , I just think that the rooms could do with an upgrade its quite old and all it heavy decor is not conducive to being in the middle of a forest some insects have made their painting and ornaments their homes - but in saying that there's absolutely nothing like living in the forest and the rooms were always clean and kept to a good standard with 24hr friendly staff.

The massage was very good and the women who performed the massage were very good. The pool area is visually beautiful, lots of intricate stone work. The bath was disappointing. It was quite dirty, small (single person and we booked a couples package) and had half the amount of flowers you see in the pictures. The steam room and sauna were OK, small but did the job. The biggest disappointment was that we got asked to pay 3 different prices. It didn’t seem very transparent or well organised. We ended up getting a discount after the service/taxes were added, which was great but it was only because we had to challenge the ever increasing prices they wrote down on pieces of paper.

Twice a year I come to Bali and I always return here. It is nice like home.. the staff are so welcoming . Tjampuhan is Magic you can feel the positive energy abundant here. The breakfast is just one of the best❣Manager Gusti always coming to speak to guests personally to make sure they are happy here and readily available to help ..as are his staff👍 They are making improvements here each time but never a disturbance to guests👍 So looking forward to returning in February...thankyou Ngurah Dwi..Tjampuhan and Staff❣ P.s make sure you visit the Spa and also have a massage by the River✌

The humidity of the room was high. The room was not clean enough. I was finding ants inside my room (more specifically in toilet) every day. Furthermore, I found one small frog inside my room too. The door was old and could be locked with just a lock leaving gaps in between. The location was near the river. However, the people was very kind, the landscape was very beautiful and the breakfast was very good.

4 day stay the property is stunning the spa is a magical space the food was fresh and good choice for breakfast the temple and walk the around the property should not be missed there is a shuttle attached to the property for your use that drops you at the museum a few steps away from the market there are two pools available for use clean and well maintained. This is probably not a property to book if you have hip or back problems as there are a lot of steps to negotiate some very steep I did have problems and if you needing the use of a chair it's not the property for you unfortunately the property is well maintained and offers many opportunities for pictures the staff are beautifully dressed the manager and deputy manager are approachable friendly and happy to have a chat to patrons kitchen staff were always smiling and happy the room was large clean and stocked well, you can if you choose walk across the bridge and into Ubud centre it's a good 20 min walk and does have a steep hill along with a not so even footpath to navigate nice little shops and restaurants along the way though and worth it even if you do it once, overall I would return the price was good and my time was relaxing and I'm eager to use the spa
