First impression after crossing the gate was wooooow! Garden was amazing! I was a bit afraid that room can't make me react the same but it did! It was really huuuuge! Really clean, nice furniture, wide comfortable bed. Bathroom was awesome cause part of the roof was open. Big up for pretty stone bathtub and shower. Little garden inside did... More

The hotel cottages are very nice. The bed was really comfy and the room had plenty of space. The outside bathroom was a plus! The staff was very helpful and friendly and was prompt to help us with any information we needed and reservations for the activities we did. The swimming pool was nice and well kept and it was... Loved our stay at De Munut. Everything about the resort was absolutely delightful. Peaceful, tranquil gardens, 2 beautiful refreshing pools, spacious rooms and friendly, helpful staff. The resort is small (18 rooms) and personal - just what we wanted. Breakfast was good - despite reading some previous comments in reviews that breakfast was 'limited', we found the menu to be... I always like resorts that are a Little away from the town noise but not too far as to be inconvenient to commute to and fro. De munut was perfect that way. The pool was really nice with trees around it. So peaceful. It is not exorbitantly priced like some other resorts around Ubud. The highlight was the bathroom, just... More

Loved this place, so tranquil and peaceful. Perfect place with gorgeous rooms, awesome outdoor bathroom with shower which was so cool. Breakfast was included and we were greeted with juices, perfect perfect!! so thankful for Gede Teja who picked my friends and I up from the airport and then was also our driver, felt so safe with him, he knows... This is the 3rd time I have stayed here while attending ceramic workshops at GAYA Ceramics and I feel no need to go elsewhere. The hotel is a traditional Balinese setting in beautiful grounds, large rooms, very quiet, rice fields out the back. Staff are excellent and attentive, 2 pools give space for all guests. Breakfasts are limited but good... More

If you are wondering,"where has the real Bali gone?" stay for a few nights at the delightful deMunut resort in Ubud. You are not going to have super fast internet, or 200 odd TV channels, but you will find a lovely traditional resort, with huge rooms, good breakfast (with REAL banana pancakes!) two swimming pools, beautiful gardens and friendly, obliging... I am sitting at the airport after checking out from the De Munut this afternoon. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the resort grounds are immaculate and room was excellent . Only two things that were not up to scratch during my stay. The first was the breakfast is very limited , as all the reviews here say you... More

The staff were very helpful in every way and will get you a good deal on tours, attractions and transport. The place is nicely landscaped, and well maintained. Food is good but quite limited choices for breakfast. Location is good, not far from the centre of town. Wifi not very good in the room a lot of the time.

Enjoyed Ubud and the hotel so much, we extended our stay by a further night. Peaceful and tranquil, having a semi outdoor bathroom, lovely pool, lovely garden, small 'library'. My only two gripes would be faint mouldy smell sometimes, and really bad internet connection. Breakfast was limited, you get to choose one item and one drink from the menu, but... More
