My husband and I had the MOST wonderful time at Komaneka Monkey Forest from the moment we met Wulan who assisted us with such professionalism and kindness as we were stressed to find accommodation in Ubud. Wulan put us at ease and booked us a lovely rice field view room at such short notice which was perfect over our 5 nights stay. Komaneka is a special place, tranquil, immaculately kept and so beautiful. The grounds are stunning and everyone who works there is smiling and friendly. The team are passionate and genuine with customer service being 5 star. Ade and Wistri were so lovely always helpful with suggestions of places to see and experience in Ubud. Our room was inviting, spacious and quiet with a huge bathroom. The main pool was gorgeous with view of the forest. The restaurant has a wonderful team who are so gracious, they serve fantastic breakfast and lovely fresh meals that never disappointed. It was such a joy to stay, so perfectly situated in the heart of Monkey Forest central Ubud and so close to all the beautiful restaurants, shops and markets. We had an excellent experience at Komaneka at Monkey Forest for 5 nights during our honeymoon trip to Bali. The staff was exceptional and truly made us feel welcome and at home. Ade, who I believe is a front desk manager, graciously guided us through a ceremony taking place at the resort, giving us a unique and unexpected cultural experience on our first day in Ubud. Detra, a driver with Komaneka, made our stay in Ubud very special. For every activity in which we needed transportation, we requested Detra. He was responsible, competent, helpful, insightful, an excellent personal photographer, and a pleasure to spend time with, and contributed greatly to the enjoyment of our stay in Ubud. The beauty and the quality of service of this resort are exceptional. Perfect position in the city center, near to shops, market, SPAs and many restaurants, but at the same time very quiet and relaxing. Our room (very clean) had a view directly to the forest. The staff is very professional and friendly. Excellent breakfast in an amazing spot sorrounded by vegetation (one of our best experiences in Ubud ☺️) Last but not least, a special mention for our driver Detra: professional, empathic, nice. He took care of us driving to the most interesting places but also showing us the real Balinese lifestyle. After the first travel, we always asked to do our following tours with him!

Great service and delicious afternoon tea!! Excellent facility tho classic style! Loved the view, loved the welcome tea, loved the staff! When we had to leave early for Ubud tour at 4am, the staff arranged our breakfast box to take with it during the tour. This boutique hotel has amazing people who are polite, courteous and very friendly. They certainly do their best to go above and beyond. The hotel is very walkable if you are interested in shops, bars, coffee shops and massage parlors. The greenery is lacking since they’ve built up for retail. That is a pity!!! But the Hotel is cosy and comfortable.

The room is spacious and romantic. The hotel is on a very busy street, but you’d never know it from the room, which is far back from the road and feels very private and quiet. It’s a small enough hotel that The staff knew us by name and were incredibly proactive, helpful and friendly. The morning yoga classes are in a well-curated art gallery and were a great way to shake off travel stiffness. The restaurant was great. A monkey joined us on our balcony for coffee one morning. Magical! We will stay here again if we’re lucky enough to make it back to Bali.

This is an amazing place. Paradise in the center of a busy town. You go in and don't want to get out. The homemade food was so amazing that we didn't want to go anywhere else. The place was very well designed, as it is full of small details that invite you to relax and enjoy. The staff is super helpful and attentive. We will come back for sure.

Staff are very friendly, very pleasant, although they sometimes get understaffed which causes a bit of delay for food orders and service requests. Rooms are constantly cleaned and breakfast is good. The dances they showcased were also great!

Great hotel, very friendly staff that makes you feel special and very welcome especially Ade. At check in you get a nice refreshing drink that was very tasty nothing like the usual extra sweet lemonade. Room was clean, spacious, good bathroom, great shower. Only remark is that the door lock is a bit easy to break as well as that of the sliding doors to the terras. The terras was very nice in the shade under the trees. Bed was comfortabel two different sizes pillows Enough power plugs for the charges. Every day fresh fruit on the desk. The garden was beautiful well kept between the rice terraces. Swimming pool was good as well, deep enough good to swim and clean. Every afternoon there was complementary afternoon tea with some local sweets. Although it is on the nicest street of Ubud (Monkey Forest road) that is quite busy, once in the hotel you notice nothing of it all is very quite. Breakfast is not in buffet but a la carte is is limited to a few dishes which in turn are very tasteful and well prepared. We did not had any problem with breakfast this way. Coffee, tea and if prefer a cappuccino or an expresso that was also okay, no extra charge. All in all we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Location is perfect, not to far from the center of Ubud (10 minutes walk) and also on walking distance of Monkey Forest (15 min walk).…
