What an absolute gem this is, photos cannot do it justice! When you arrive you’ll feel like a king or queen with the room sizes which are very spacious and the balcony was almost a terrace.... we were so close to monkey forest and I would often wake up early just to watch the birds and wildlife soaking up the tranquil settings around these rooms, cannot thank the staff enough here, going above and beyond when my partner came down with Bali Belly from a previous destination, making him fresh porridge and going out of their way to get him a fresh coconut and bring breakfast to our room / checking in with us! Honestly my best booking for Bali, would highly recommend to everyone 💛

Stayed here for 10 days and was so happy I chose this hotel. I cannot fault it. My criteria when choosing a hotel was: close enough to walk to everything, spotlessly clean, and good AC. This hotel has it all and more. It is within walking distance to everything and yet just far away enough to be a peaceful retreat away from the busiest streets up by Ubud Market. You're just off Monkey Forest Road so you're within seconds from countless bars, restaurants and shops, a good place to do laundry is just opposite and a large supermarket is just round the corner. And of course the cheeky monkeys do come visit but they will not interfere with you at all (just don't leave food out on your balcony!). The pool was so welcome in the Bali heat. The included breakfasts were so plentiful and delicious they set me up for the day. I must add that the staff here are all so nice and friendly as well.

Staying at Bumi Muwa Ubud was a great decision for my solo travel. The hotel is small, quite and with a very modern yet traditional structure/facilities. Service was awesome! Everybody was super friendly and helped me with lots of recommendations/tips (specially Ketut). Regards location, it's a little bit away from Ubud Center, but the hotel provides with a free shuttle 4 times a day, so it is easy to go arouond and explore the center. I will definitely stay at this hotel if I come back to Bali.

I stayed here for 7 days during my recent trip to Ubud two weeks ago. When I arrived at night, there was a receptionist who greeted me and brought me to my room. Initially I booked a bigger room on the second floor but was given a small room on the ground floor. However, this mix up was settled right away and I was moved to the more spacious room which I was very happy with. The breakfast offered every morning was good. There is a variety of breakfast choices from western to local food. The breakfast can be ordered the day before and serving time could be improved. Staff were very friendly and greeted me every time I pass by the reception area. The hotel is located along Monkey forest road, opposite a mini mart. There are lots of eateries around and a laundry shop just 20 meters up the road from the hotel. It is around 5 minutes walk to monkey forest and about 20 minutes walk to the Yoga Barn. There is a small stretch of road near the monkey forest on the way to the hotel that is very dark at night so do take note if you're a solo traveler. The distance from the hotel to the Ubud market is a bit far and feels even worse under the hot afternoon sun. Overall I am satisfied with my stay at the hotel. I do recommend this hotel if you don't mind a bit of walking to the more happening places in central Ubud. Do book the room on the second floor as it is much bigger and nicer than the ones on the ground floor. You also get more privacy on the balcony.

Stayed for 28 days in this beautiful little hotel. Amazing breakfast. Peaceful for sleeping. Walking distance to everything. And a cheap priced hotel. Monkeys come to hotel most days. Be careful with your stuff as they are very sneaky. Staff were great and I recommend American breakfast. Fresh fruit platter. Eggs with toast and jam. Coffee and juice.
