Let me begin by saying that there are not enough good words to describe my staying experience in Amarea Resort Ubud.

The staffs were incredibly accomodating, and they went above and beyond to make my stay a 7* experience. Friendliness and tact seemed to be the at the very core of their service philosophy - and that translated beautifully in the way they served me. Reception staffs were incredibly hospitable (as evident by their warm, genuine smiles) and were knowledgeable about the products and services the resort had to offer.

Amarea's strongest forté, though, was that they have trained all of their staffs to be quite adept at doing things that are not part of their role, and that versatility is something very noteworthy.

The room that I stayed in was adequately spaced, and was generously provided with plenty of pillows and cushions - perfect for someone like me who rank fluffiness as the ideal environment to sleep in.

Amarea's restaurant was closed due to the current pandemic, but dining options were within proximity to the property. The famous Bebek Tepi Sawah was a short walking distance from the resort, and the restaurant offered the best manicured paddy field view. If tranquility within a verdant atmosphere is what you're looking for, this is the restaurant to dine in.

One of the best if not THE best staying experience in Bali thus far. Will definitely return. 12/10 would recommend.

*Special commendation for a bli (I wish I had asked for his name) who was working the evening shift during the night when my flight was rescheduled.

Amarea Ubud is a very beautiful and pleasant resort in Ubud. staying for some time is not enough for us. a very cool resort building with a panoramic view of the garden and river, very beautiful. we stayed at Amarea Cottage with a smart key lock feature on the door, netflix facilities, a very comfortable mattress, and a very cool amazon alexa, when entering the aromateraphy toilet area already greeted us and outdoor bathtubs. the bedroom and bathroom are very clean. and lastly don't forget the maid from the first check by Mr. Budi is very friendly, always smiling and he really helped us identify all the facilities in the room and resort. Fried rice at breakfast is very delicious. we are very happy to stay and vacation in amarea ubud

Not even single bad review i will give to them..
since it's new resort at first i found them through online booking agent and might as well try.. and book them right away among all of resort in Ubud.
we’re travel on budget but we feels like staying in a 5 starts hotel or high-end resort. Their service unbelievable

From the very first step we enter, they greet us with a warm of Balinese gestures..
and our room even though its small but they all clean with a bit touch of advance technology
they have Alexa in our room!! and Netflix access on the TV

also the pool is amazing, we did Yoga also with pak Putu near the pool. He has incredible way of teaching and find better way to give our back problem. Also encourage us..

Don’t ever think twice to stay here. They have everything, and location wise ita 8-10 mins drive to the Ubud center. Not that far. we will come back again for another Ubud trip

To start, I would like to say the hotel is stunning, it looks great, feels brand new & we were really impressed when we arrived. The pool area is 10/10 and there is a nice spa/yoga area too. We stayed in the Ubud room, the room was nice but we found it very small for 2 people and our luggage.

Location wise, it’s is a little out of central Ubud maybe a 40 minute walk but taxis to and from are very cheap & easy to find.

However, we were a little confused when we arrived as there was no restaurant area, so there was no real food service, yet the hotel was not self catering either. Whenever we ordered food, we did find it took ages to come and we often had to ask numerous times as it felt like we’d been forgotten about. One night we waited 2 hours and asked multiple times to be met with faces of confusion.

We also found there was no real service around the hotel or pool area, we were chilling by the pool and were told to get drinks from the mini bar in our rooms and had to make our own coffees again from the room. I was expecting a little more from such a nice hotel.

We had to leave very early morning to get a boat to another island, but we found there was no checkout staff present early morning so the checkout ended up being very slow.

Overall we really loved the hotel itself, we just think there could definitely be improvements when it comes to service and food/meal service.

It’s a newly built resort with the ambiance of being in a remote and seclusive area. The resort area is very green with a flowing river just next to its pool. I stayed in the cottage room and the room is very well designed with a touch of natural and traditional design. The semi outdoor bathroom is also very calming to unwind. My favorite place is the yoga bungalow overlooking the infinity pool next to the flowing river. I had a yoga session with Pak Putu and it was very refreshing

Their service is excellent. The food is scrumptious and shows its own exquisiteness. I also feel safe and hygienic during my stay. When you enter the resort’s lobby, they welcome you with warm and joyous arms. They also provide you with a public pool facility which is great for anyone going for a low budget. Recommended!

I like the location, very fresh especially in the morning, there is jungle in the back of the hotel near the swimming pool with the sound of birds. The staff are very helpful and fast response.
The food, i would say regular; by this time their restaurant close for certain reason, so we eat all carte in the room or public kitchen.
They have public kitchen, for people who want to cook, but you prepare the material of food by your self and cook it by your self, such as if you want to cook indomie/Indonesian noodle.
Amenities - okay; needs improvement (razor blades).
I love the Backyard, it is beautiful w/ swimming pool and yoga class bungalow.
Free yoga class on Tuesday - excellent yoga teacher! We had a very good moment.
They can also prepare romantic dinner or romantic floating breakfast or any other romantic moments you need.

The standard room is amazing can't imagine if we did manage to
stay in the suite or cottage vila. I would like to express a big thank
you to the staff that had helped and assisted us during our I week
plus (from the 8th - 16th of April 2022).
The receptionist Budi, Bella and Pravi you've been such a blessing
Thank you for assisting us throughout our stay.
The service y'all gave makes me wants to stay longer here but sadly
the honeymoon trip has to end here.
It was beautiful and a pleasure to end our honeymoon with
@amareaubud
I will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family.
And definitely we will go back to this place again for our next Bali
