The rooms are large and airy, the prices are good but Permana fails in its cleanliness. The rooms are basic but functional. Breakfast was nice - juice, fruit and omelette mostly and occasionally pancakes. The pool and surrounds are inviting on a hot day. Lovely views from the balcony where breakfast is served. Barking dogs were occasionally annoying. Good value...

Stayed here for 2 nights. Good location with everything you need within 5-10 min walk. Friendly and helpful staff. Good sized room with a great view over a ricefield. Only bad thing was that the room wasnt very clean and the breakfast was average. Although over all worth the money

Firstly it's a serene place to stay within rice fields and the staff are friendly, but it's a little off the beaten track down a side street then through a long lane, but of course that's why it's serene, away from from the hustle and bustle. Every morning at 8am the building works begin around this area and it is...

We arrived and the bathroom wasn't cleaned very well at all, no hand soap provided. We were not given any toilet roll and every time we wanted some it fell on us to go and get more, even though the rooms are 'cleaned' every day and so it could have been spotted. There were three of us staying however they...

This quaint B & B is perfect for someone who loves the simple things in life. Like a big bed with a comfortable mattress or a hot shower with great water pressure. And who doesn't like eating breakfast on a terrace over looking a rice patty field? There were several choices for breakfast. You just had to let them know...

The location is perfect: very quiet and in the street 1min away you have all you need: nice restaurant, scooters, supermarket, massage... And the very center is just 5-10min away. The rooms could have a nicer decoration but the bathroom, bed and room are very big which is enjoyable and the private terrasse for each room is very nice! The...

I wanted to be right in the centre of Ubud, so I asked cab driver Wayan Suardika, and he took me to Permana Cottages – off Bisma Street. AUS$50 per night got me a comfortable aircon room with a balcony overlooking rice fields and mountains on the horizon, plus a light breakfast served to my balcony table every morning. Kadek,...

We stayed at Permana Cottages for 3 nights, family of 4 in 2 rooms. Great position in Ubud, close to shops and restaurants, but with a view of the rice fields, great sunset. Clean rooms and good breakfast, nice pool. Will stay here again, as it was good value for the price. Wifi work well for us.

Lovely host family, made the stay for us really comfortable even though we arrived last minute. Very comfortable, spacious and clean rooms. Would definitely go back, lovely views from the top floors too. Great location, 5-10 min walk to centre of ubud, but tucked away so quiet enough. Highly recommended!

My friend and I met up in Ubud to stay at this place. It's so nice and quiet. It's not far from the main busy part of town. It's tucked away behind a few streets and can be a bit hard to find but well worth looking. The sounds of nature at night are amazing. I've enjoyed breakfast on my...

“I like downstairs room at end of complex as no one walks by and privacy is assured. However upstairs rooms afford view over paddy field and you have no noisy neighbours above you. Having said that, I have never had noisy nrighbours as the place attracts serenity.”
