It was literally love at first sight when I first set eyes on the oasis that is the Samara. And my appreciation for the place only grew for the 6 days I was there.

The Samara could be forgiven for complacency by resting on the view of the lush rice paddies alone - and what a su

Every day visitors to Ubud walk up to the Juwuk Manis rice fields. It’s not far. I found the Samara Hotel with a beautiful pool and a top restaurant nestled in those rice fields. Quiet, Peaceful, Clean, Friendly Staff. They give you a phone and will take you to the Main Stree

We stayed at this place on our visit to UBUD . Place is extremely neat and the grounds are well maintained. I think we over payed according to Bali standards. The outdoor shower was the highlight of our trip. We dined in at the restaurant couple of time during our stay and every

We would not consider this as a hotel. It felt we are at home. The entire team is welcoming and always ready to help in every possible way they can. When we reached Ubud we were stuck at a place away from resort. They arranged a car themselves to pick us up. Everyone in hotel is

There’s something special about staying at a small scale villa resort. The staff knows you by name, even the owners. Tucked in amid rice terraces well off busy roads this is a tranquil paradise. Perfect for unwinding with a beautiful walking path outside. The restaurant is d

Hi all, do the Standard Rooms have a view of the rice fields? Thanks, A.
Dear Igtgootp, Thank you for your question. All rooms at The Samara have view, but some less than others. Some have full view, some only partial. Book early, drop us an email, and we'll make sure you get a room with great view! Looking forward to welcoming you soon. Best regards, Stefano

We are planning a trip to Bali in June 2019 and would like to book 2 units of 2 bedroom villas. We are a family of 8 adults and 6 children. I went on your website but did not find a contact information/email address to ask questions. How can I talk to someone?
Dear Isabelita, Thank you for your message here. Our email address is on the homepage, at the bottom of the page, together with our phone numbers. Anyway we can confirm we have received an email from you with your inquiry. We will reply to you as soon as possible. Thank you!

Hi i am trying to book and i want to ask about: 1-hotel location 2- private pool is per villa or any one can access.. 3-Breackfast in the villa is it available??
Dear Sara, we hope this reply doesn't reach you too late. We would like to add to what our previous guest Stephen T has already said, by specifying that: 1. The location is in a closed to traffic area, therefore VERY quiet and clean, yet 10 minutes away from Main Road Ubud; 2. We have a communal swimming pool serving the deluxe rooms, and private pool villas, each with their very own and private swimming pool; 3. Breakfast can be delivered to the privacy of your private villa, at no extra charge. In-room breakfast is instead subject to a small service fee. We sincerely hope to receive a reservation from you, and that you will decide to book by contacting us directly at any of the email addresses listed on our website, in order to get the best rate, guaranteed! For any further question, please do not hesitate to contact us again. Best regards, Stefano Facchini Guest Relations Manager

Hi! The location is in the middle of rice paddies so very quiet (but not a single mosquito!) but a 5-minute scooter ride (they drive you!) or pleasant 20-minute walk from central Ubud. The communal pool serves six rooms so you almost always have it to yourself (I think the villas have their own pools). Breakfast isn't just available, it's AMAZING! And every single member of staff is charm personified! Hope that answers your questions. Have a great holiday.

Hello! I am looking to book for May. I see that the villas all have their own private pool. Is there a pool available for all the rest of the guests just staying in a single room. I looked on website and it never mentioned anything besides the villas. Thanks so much!
Dear Haley M, Thank you for your question. At The Samara we do have a swimming pool that is shared among all guests staying in a single or double room. The swimming pool enjoys a beautiful view over the rice fields, and is very intimate being The Samara a small resort. We are sorry if this is not clear on the website, and we'll make the necessary arrangements very soon. For the best rates please remember to visit our website. For any further question, please do not hesitate to contact us again. We are looking forward to welcoming you soon at The Samara Villas - Ubud! Best regards, Made Astina Reservations
