We spent over a month on Bali and Lombok. And this was by far the best hotel of our trip. The staff are incredible. And the rooms are so nice and comfortable. Housekeeping keeps the rooms clean and bug free throughout your entire stay.
The bed is super comfortable. The shower has consistent hot filtered water (not easy to find on Bali).
Located on Jalan Bisma. Steps away from restaurants and bars. If all else fails, you can always order food and the staff will give you a call when the delivery arrives.

I felt safe and secure staying in this property with my family because they apply high hygiene protocol in the room and all areas. The staffs were very friendly and helpful, always smile and greet in Balinese greetings. Hammock by the pool is very relaxing with amazing view of rice field and jungle occupied by cute little monkeys because it's located nearby the famous Monkey Forest in Ubud. My kids always talk about their experience in this property and we will surely be back for another great stay :-).

Peaceful place, well mannered staff, excellent service. We stayed at Suite Rooms. The rooms is really pretty with high class touch and decoration. Didn't try any F&B because we did late check in and the restaurant is already closed.
Fully sanitized place, they sealed the room before check in and provide hand sanitizer in the room.
However we experienced quite bad moment as well because water in toilet bowl didn't flushed and the water heater didn't work long enough to fulfill the bathtub, so its getting cold already
The staff Ms. Bella really helpful during the maintenance time and Ms. Nanda also help us to arrange last minute flower decoration on bath tub.
It's 8.5/10 experience and we will surely come back. Thank you Kaamala Team.

I am on vacation with my family and I am very happy with my one bedroom private pool villa with a very beautiful rice field view. for my parents, I book a room that has a view of the forest, called the Forest Suite. so each room is equipped with a jacuzzi and for honeymooners it is very suitable to this villa because you can request a flower bath to please your partner. villa with rooms with direct view to the pool and rice fields. for food it is also very good, here you can also request a floating breakfast. A true hidden gem! I live in Bali and getting away to Ubud is my frequent getaway spot, and so happy to have found this place. Restaurant was not operating since the resort just opened back (after corona impact) but not to worry, because many options around. Inifinity pool was really nice, with some beautiful gazebo around. The Wild Air restaurant venue has bird nest photo spot, and the whole area was designed with simple yet elegant architecture. The villa we stayed in, it’s just beautiful and very comfortable. Very spacious, it got dry bath-up with dry toilet and separate rain shower. Room was surrounded by sliding door, fully opened to private pool and rice field view. The living area was my favorite, with some minibars and amenities to enjoy over hammock and sunbed. Modern room and well equipped, it also had Harman Kardon speaker and Alexa! Last but not the least, the very welcome and excellent services of Nanda & Satrya who went above and beyond for us, assuring everything we needed was met. Understandably only few guests staying so the staff’s manning was also limited, but Nanda ensured we were not losing hospitality presence. She handed out her personal number and to let us text her in case of anything. Even though we were the only guests staying, we were not left out at all. I truly recommend this resort for those who look for simple yet beautiful villa that offer coziness and perfect location in Ubud area. Myself will definitely come back for some short getaway!

I recommend everyone visiting Bali to experience staying at Kaamala Resort in Ubud, it’s a must!
My partner and I had booked 2 nights here, loved the Forest View Suite so much that we ended up extending a third night and revisiting later on in our trip!
Firstly, the staff are the friendliest and most welcoming I’ve ever experienced at any hotel I’ve stayed at. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, the Restaurant and Bar are priced very fairly for a 5 star resort and the options provided on the menus are brilliant, especially the wine! The infinity pool overlooking Ubud’s jungle is absolutely breathtaking and so relaxing all throughout the day and evening.
We have stayed in both the Forest View Suite and the One bedroom Villa and the interiors in both are so beautiful and modern. The rooms are pristine and the views from both rooms are incredible.
Everything about this resort is the full package, amazing staff, beautiful surroundings and views.

We spent 2 nights in kaamala and very satisfied with the room and services. The room was clean and modern with smart TV. The bathtub is located near window with forest view and they also provide bubblebath. Complete tableware for 2 persons are provided in the room and they can help to send your food from online services to your room. The pool is clean with superb view. The staffs are super friendly and helpful. Very satisfied and definitely will come back when we visit Ubud.

My husband and I stayed in private pool villa overlooking a rice field. Beautiful villa indeed, better than advertised. Had a hammock and sofa in the terrace, two sunbeds on the other side of the pool. Big bathtub in the room, and see-through shower door - so really, its a honeymoon suite :D They also installed alexa smart home, prepare a nice harman speaker, and netflix access in the room! There were some minor things to improve like more mats near pool/ bathtub, handtowel near the sink - which they asked from us before we checked out. We didnt have breakfast and meals in the hotel so can't really comment on that. Very nice, friendly staff, and overall loving my stay in Kaamala Ubud!
