Detailed Reviews
we have stayed there with a company of friends and it was a great decision as there were enough room, very large and beautiful (each with its own bathroom), however there was a joint lounge room to have food and spend time together - with an amazing an unforgettable view on beautiful nature of Bali. To see this whilst you are having breakfast is absolutely worth it! What is important is that you have a hotel transfer included which you can use once a day back and forth to the city. Moreover the stuff gives you local phone which you can use to connect with the driver - very convenient. This hotel is so beautiful and comfortable that to be honest you will be struggling to leave it as it is really extremely good :)
P.S. The only thing i would recommend you additionally (not a critical thing but still), if you are going to see that beautiful large swimming pool -please double check it with stuff by email beforehand whilst you are a booking a hotel, as this pool might be in private zone and you might not visit it

Myself and my Husband stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon to Bali. We were so excited and had high expectations from what we had seen online, but this was above and beyond.
After a very long and tiring journey, we were greeted by such friendly and welcoming staff, who offered us a welcome drink and helped us settle into our villa. The staff were consistently brilliant throughout our stay and were especially helpful in arranging things such as taxis and scooter hire.
The actual location and setting of the villas is just stunning and we could have happily spent the entire time gazing at our poolside view if we hadn't been out exploring Ubud. The villas are set on a hill side overlooking a deep tropical valley with the most beatiful view. When we mentioned where we were staying at Bidadari to a couple of local people, they mentioned the view straight away.
The rooms/facilities were immaculate with the most lovely decor style. So much effort had been put into the villa and poolside area. We had breakfast at our villa each day, and also had lunch/dinner a couple of times. The quality of the food and service were fantastic and we found this to be really reasonably priced.
We enjoyed a couple of spa treatments and I would really recommend this just for the setting alone. The spa is in the deepest point of the valley and you can hear the stream, it was a lovely place to unwind.
We can't speak highly enough of Bidadari. We will absolutely return in the future and we feel so lucky to have begun our honeymoon here.

My fiancée is Indonesian and we are getting married in Ubud in August 2023. Whilst our wedding venue is a stunning 5 star resort, we have chosen the Bidadari for our honeymoon because quite simply, we find it perfect. There is a choice of villa sizes, and all have private pools and overlook this steep, lush valley. The open plan rooms allow this unique feeling of luxury engaging with nature. We counted over 200 steps from the reception area to the spa which nestles down in the valley close to the river, but don't let this climb put you off as stopping for a breather gives you time to appreciate this beautiful, tranquil and verdant panorama.
There is no restaurant...the superb cuisine is delivered to your own private villa (a chef will even come and cook a barbecue on your patio) and the menu covers both snacks and multi course meals.
The service is first class and includes daily accommodation cleaning and evening preparation by dedicated staff who obviously share manager Rana's view that the customer is king....indeed it is probably due to the fact that he views himself and his staff as one big happy family that encourages this conscientious approach by everyone.
The fact that we've booked numerous villas here for our family and friends attending our wedding next year shows our confidence that they will share our love for this little corner of paradise.

We made a booking 2.5 years ago and then Covid happened, so it’s been a long time coming. But we finally arrived in Bali and our first accommodation was at Bidadari private villas. We stayed there for 7 nights at Romantic Honeymoon villa and OMG! I have no words. This place is amazing! It’s so peaceful and beautiful. The villa is unbelievable, especially the view. To wake up every morning and hear birds signing overlooking jungle is just overwhelming. Our son loved seeing different creatures around and was trying to chase lizards:) The breakfast is served at chosen time and location (upstairs or downstairs by the pool) was freshly made and very good with lots of choice. It was a first time we tried Balinese coffee, it tastes so nice. We ordered dinners every evening and the food did not disappoint. One night we had a barbecue with private chef coming to our villa to cook for us and once again everything was excellent! They provide bicycles if you want to cycle around or you can hire a scooter at the resort as well. If you want a private tour - no problem again, you can book it through the resort and their driver will take you where you want to go. We’ve done 2 day tours to the east and to the west and had a great time with our driver Surya, who showed us around and explained everything. I must say that the best part of this place are all the staff who work there. From general manager Rana to other staff members: Jun, Darti, Dewi, Vidu (I really hope I’m spelling it right, if not I’m sorry for that) and everyone else, I’m sorry I don’t remember all the names. I must say everyone we met was amazing, polite, friendly, professional and happy. Nothing was too much for them. That’s what customer service should be. We are very grateful for all your hard work to make our stay the one to remember. We hope to come back to this beautiful place again. I would highly recommend Bidadari private villas and resort to anyone who’s looking for something unique and special with good service and food.

A tropical oasis away from the busy Ubud center. This place is about a 20 minute drive frum Ubud city center, which makes it a great get away from the busy city. The hotel and service are excellent! Can't say enough about how nice and open the villa is with a great, open air deck area and small private infinity pool. The hotel staff are helpful and very accommodating. There is no restaurant on site, but all meals are brought to your room (Breakfast included in the price). The food was excellent! There's not too much to see walking around the hotel street, but it's a quieter area to be away. Also, the great thing is the hotel provides a round trip driver once a day to take you to UBUD (you just communicate to them when you want to be taken and picked up). The mosquitos were around some here and there, but not as bad as I thought they would be. I miss this place already as we've only been home a couple days!

Heaven- that describes the service, villa, vistas, setting , food and experience. With multiple conversations on WhatsApp before arriving, unfortunately due to my late planning, we were only able to stay one night. We made the most of us one night. We had stayed there for almost one week proximately seven years ago. About 10 minutes outside of Ubud, the location is excellent with beautiful vistas and quiet setting. Each villa is different and they are amazing. We had the romantic dinner at the Villa and it was unforgettable- can’t wait to return. The 2 hour spa experience was amazing-
The only caution is for mobility impaired guests. Bidadari is built on a slope (the charm) and there are multiple stairs to all the villas and spa except for the two bedroom villa on top which is easily accessible to everyone.
All the staff were amazing but I wanna do a special thank you to Ami, Jun, Putu, Dharma, Widi, Dewi at reservations, the driver Wayan and the amazing general manager Rana!

Speedy covid safe check in on arrival with an excellent service from the staff.
The girls on reception are super attentive and will sort anything you require within a matter of minutes, from taxi to scooter or boat transfer to rafting experience, they’ll get it done with no fuss. Special thanks to the reception staff and friendly butlers!
If visiting, expect rain… The villas overlook some fantastic rice terraces and offer a number of activities from cooking classes to spa treatments to keep you entertained.
After a fantastic cooking class in our kitchen, we could see how clean and tidy the chef was… which brings me to the noise coming from the kitchen at night time. Luckily we had ear plugs but our villa backed on to the kitchen. We could hear crashing and banging in the early hours and reception/ security need to turn down the tv or radio at night time. Unfortunately they didn’t have earplugs in the lobby though, I’d recommend the hotel providing this if they have noise issues. We grabbed some from pharmacy which helped. At least we know they had a clean kitchen!! And the food was all so lovely, with a great choice (I’d recommend the brioche stuffed with ham and cheese for brekky!)
I’d recommend staying here if you are looking for a relaxed/ cultural experience and would like a 5 star friendly service. Only downside is the noise in our villa next to the kitchen. Sure this wouldn’t be a problem in any of the other villas though.

I don’t even know where to begin. I had booked a Bali holiday as a surprise for my husbands 40th birthday (which I didn’t reveal until the day we actually flew out!). I’d booked 3 different hotels and areas of Bali to stay and Bidadari Villas was the first stop. To say it blew us away and my husband was speechless having no idea where we were staying when we walked in is an understatement. We had a private pool, 3 storey villa, it was spotlessly clean and so beautiful. The views, smells and sounds of the jungle around you were magical. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Although we were in the jungle they had mosquito repellent and plug ins and we weren’t bitten. The first morning we woke up to a floating breakfast and they sang happy birthday. It was a dream come true. I hope I can return one day. Thank you all so much!

As befits it’s name, these villas are heavenly. Setting, specification, service, spa and the most delicious food to fuel the (increasingly rare) trips anywhere else… Please don’t make us leave.
The children are striking - rafting, cycling and having monkeys sit on their heads are all losing their allure in favour of relaxing in our villa here.

We had the Luxurious Honeymoon Villa. It is the best place we’ve ever stayed and topped our trip to Bali. The setting is spectacular with open air living amongst the trees. The site only has a few villas so it is very quiet and offers an intimate setting. The staff were very friendly and offered some excellent food. We wish we could have stayed longer! Would recommend this location to anyone wanting to explore Ubud and enjoy peace and tranquillity. Thank you for our stay!
