Swasti Eco Cottages exceeded my expectations in every way. The grounds are lush and magical, complete with an organic garden and resident goats and cats. Staff were friendly and went above and beyond. When we had an early check out, they prepared a breakfast box and left a tray with coffee and tea on our patio. The included breakfast each morning was delicious! The food was creative, healthy, and tasty. The location was great as it was close to the center of Ubud but still far away enough to be quiet and peaceful. The only downside is that I was initially worried about mosquitos. Some doors don’t seal perfectly leaving some gaps in the walls. I never once encountered a mosquito though, likely because the weather has been dry.

To the Swasti family I’d just like to say a big thank you. The last 11 weeks have simply been amazing, Im definitely leaving a much more relaxed and happy person.

All the staff are amazing, the food at the restaurant is some of the best in Ubud, days spent by the pool listening to the animals out back and walking around the beautiful gardens all added up to an amazing experience.

Definitely recommend anyone who is heading to Ubud whether for one night or one year check out Swasti as the place to stay.

Thanks again 😊🙏

I came to Bali to get better and Swasti was the perfect place for it. Our room was comfortable and spacious with a lovely porch to enjoy morning coffee and evening thunderstorms. The location was great, adjacent to the south end of Monkey Forest and chiller than bustling central Ubud (15 minutes walk). Plenty of good cafes and restaurants in the immediate neighbourhood but hard to beat Swasti's own Beloved Organic Cafe. Especially for breakfast (which was included) And do I go on, about the yoga classes in the two beautiful, intimate-with-nature shalas? And the incredible massage at the lovely, no-fuss spa?

Overall bad experience. Found the place to be poorly maintained and dirty. Not good service at front desk or in the cafe ( breakfast). The floor in our room was inclined which meant sleeping on an inclined bed (almost 10cm from one side to the other. Cats walking around the breakfast area on counter tops and on silverware. Don’t be fooled about the high guest rating. Much better options in the city for the same price range. If we hadn’t prepaid the rooms, we would have left immediately.

We are a family of 5 who recently stayed at Swasti for 6 nights. We were actually stayed elsewhere in Ubud and while it was nice, it lacked true Balinese charm and didn’t suit children so we moved to swasti. It was a little piece of paradise. We all loved the pool, lots of space to play and explore, the beautiful grounds and gardens and the goats. The rooms were charming, beautiful and very comfortable and the little special touches made us feel so welcome - tea and coffee placed outside our door each morning, flower decorations, beds made beautifully each day etc The most striking thing about this place though it the restaurant. The food here is AMAZING! They manage to efficiently pump out a huge menu of mostly vegan food and all the staff are very friendly. We loved the breakfast tapas! The spa treatments were also delightful and well priced. We absolutely couldn’t fault our stay here and I’m sure we will be back many times.

We had a fantastic time staying at Swasti - from the beautiful breakfasts to the lovely pool and the calming spa, we enjoyed everything from start to finish! The team working at Swasti was absolutely brilliant at helping us organise day trips and excursions and kept on being helpful long after we had checked out too! The area is really lovely - a few restaurants dotted around the local village, walking distance to the Monkey Forest and a short car ride in to Ubud centre. Wawan and his team are absolutely brilliant. We'd come back again in a heartbeat!

Just stayed at Swasti Eco Cottage few days, me and my friends love everything about this place

From the moment we check-in till check-out, every staff is just so friendly and helpful, they tried their best to make our stay more comfortable, gave us welcome drinks and talk to us with care.

We love the food at the restaurant, the menu is great and everything taste so delicious, we had 5-6 meals there during our 2.5day stay at Ubud.

Location is great, not far from monkey forest and ubud art market, we called Grab every time we need to go out
We will go there again if we go to Ubud !!
Don’t hesitate to book this place if you are looking a place to stay at Ubud.

Don’t forget to book their spa, we did 4 hands massage, Balinese massage, body scrub and facial, again all were amazing and at a very reasonable price :)

Thanks again to the Swasti Eco Cottage team ❤️

Bali Swasti is a beautiful and serene oasis in the heart of Ubud. There's a beautiful vibe and energy that greets you when you enter the village and it is even more beautiful inside the rooms. If you like the sound of crickets and water w/ a backdrop of green scenery, then you've hit the jackpot w/ Bali Swasti. My room had a beautiful balcony that overlooked the pool, restaurant and organic garden. There's a huge yoga hall amidst aesthetic greens that's bright and airy. I spent hours in the hot tub in my room while pondering on the squirrels from my huge window. I had the most magical and amazing time in Bali Swasti and would definitely recommend to my family and friends.

This place is a hidden oasis in the most lovely neighborhood a short walk away from the business of Ubud central. We stayed here with a large group and it was a perfect place to have both privacy and some spaces to gather and practice yoga and meditation. The food in the restaurant is beyond amazing and the service was excellent. Our cabins were well decorated (we occupied several, so we got to see the dormitory and several smaller accommodations) and the bathrooms were gorgeous! The pool was centrally located and great for an afternoon dip. The staff will do whatever you want- they really see to all your needs. We liked it so much that we changed our next reservation in Ubud so that we could return here! We will most definitely stay here again.

A group of 6 of us rented out the dorm room, it was, without a doubt, the most amazing dorm room I have stayed in. I felt like a princess! Staff would bring coffee and tea to our room every morning and you felt close to nature while being in the city!

They have meditation classes, yoga classes, and massages in sight. Everything we participated in was incredible! Staff also helped connect us with a guide to take us to the water temple and waterfalls. We highly suggest you ask for Ketut, he was AMAZING!!!!

Finally, the food. It was fresh, healthy, and delicious!!! (They had many vegan, gluten free options). We had a hard time eating anywhere else because our food here was just that good!!

I have nothing but amazing things to say! The staff very kind and helpful, everything was clean, we felt safe, it was a great location! Would 10/10 recommend!

Dear Lyndon N & MJoão C, Fresh, filtered water is indeed available! We provide fresh, filtered water to all who ask, either staying or just visiting and we sell refillable water bottle in our boutique. All our rooms have their own supply of filtered water separate from the main and clean glasses are provided for you every day! Though possible, Bali doesn't have a high-risk of malaria or dengue. We'd suggest that, if you take the usual careful steps to protect yourself in any tropical region with unfamiliar fauna, there's little need for worry. We do provide mosquito-repellent lotion, incense, and nets to protect you! Warm regards, Reza Swasti's Operational Manager
