Well this started out promising. Nice property. Nice location, but I got back from dinner after a long hot day of sightseeing and found that the electricity wasn't quite working to full capacity in my room, meaning the lights were dim and the air conditioner wouldn't turn on. I walked out to reception and staff basically said it had something... More

Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) is an Indonesian government-owned corporation which has a monopoly on electricity distribution in Indonesia. They supply 3-phase electric power to Villa Sabandari. The evening you write about, PLN had a technical problem in their central, that resulted in the loss of one phase, not just for us, but also for our neighbours and most probably for... More

Wonderful stay here for 3 nights they serve great tea and breakfast. In a quiet environment you can also request for driver to bring you to central Ubud. The place is for adults only so you dont get kids running and screaming in the back ground while you're are relaxing. The bandong room will be perfect as you will have ample... More

My daughter aged 20 and I spent 5 nights at Villa Sabandari. We had read many positive reviews before we arrived and we not disappointed. This luxury vllla is an oasis overlooking the rice fields with a wonderful swimming pool and extremely friendly staff. The rooms were great and we loved the bathroom with the outdoor shower. Everything about this... More

Our room was comfortable, clean and well-maintained. The daily "surprise breakfast" was most enjoyable. The availability of transport into central Ubud was very useful, especially in the evening. Wifi worked well and the staff were excellent.

We stayed with my wife in Villa Sabandari for 6 nights. As already stated in other reviews this place is amazing. Dirk and his staff made us feel like home. The villa has terrific view of the rice fields and is only 10 mins on foot from the center of Ubud. So its position is ideal. Complimentary coffee/tea is offered... More

Spent six nights at Villa Sabandari with my daughter and it was lovely. We felt very cared for and I can't speak highly enough of the wonderful staff there. Transport and pickup to and from Ubud Central is a great bonus. Different breakfast each day, we missed Gusti when we left there. Robyn and Mjuri

Wow, this place has thought of everything... the level of detail is what sets it apart. Too many to list but here are some of my favs: free use of driver from 10am to 10.30pm for local area, breakfast served to your balcony, fresh flowers and fruit in the room, personalised attention (my tablet wifi wasn't working even though it... We stayed in this villa for 7 nights and we loved every minute of our stay. The staff were very attentive and went out of their way to meet our needs. As there were only 6 villas and not always occupied the peacefulness and tranquillity provided us with perfect holiday. The breakfast was plentiful and arrived within 10 minutes of... More

We booked Villa Sabandari after looking at reviews on booking.com and tripadvisor. We were greeted well by the owner on arrival. The place is a collection of 6 villas and the location overlooking the rice fields is stunning. The pool looks amazing. Unfortunately due to the intermittent downpours we weren't able to use the pool but this is typical of... More

The Villa Sabandari is a great place to stay in what is now becoming very busy Ubud. We stayed 2 nights. We contacted the owner Dirk prior to our arrival to arrange a pickup/driver from Kuta and he couldn't have been more helpful in arranging everything and replying to our requests. The Villa is located about an easy 10 minute... More
