A tranquil little spot on the edge of the rice fields. Quiet and secluded with lovely private little bungalows, that are a good size, comfortable and are equipped with a fan and a fridge. The pool is beautiful and perfect for a dip on those hot Bali days. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. In my opinion a perfect spot... More

Arjana Bungalows has practically become my second home as I've been coming here regularly for the past 8 years. The rooms/bungalows are simple but cozy and they have a fan and a fridge. The pool is great and the rice-fields are just a 5 minute walk away, and the centre around 15 minutes Renting a scooter is recommended though.

Although a bit further walking distance from the main streets (about 15 min) , but for this reason also more quiet and private. Beautiful small roads into the rice fields and layed back streets. The bungalows are separated also with plants and trees, bushes from each other, so i felt a lot more private here than in other homestays i... More

This is a lovely place in the rice fields, great pool and lovely rooms. Wifi works only on the breakfast platform and from dawn on that is owned by the mosquitoes! No wifi in the rooms. The furniture and patios are beautiful, breakfast is made fresh but takes time. There is no A/C. One thing to consider: the bungalows are... More

This hotel was perfect for me. Booked for 2 nights and stayed for 3 weeks. So tranquil and a gorgeous walk up Kejang St to the main road. Simple accommodation, great individual bungalows with verandas, last hotel before the rice paddies, gorgeous pool and a delicious breakfast each day! Great loop walk through the rice paddies back into town (approx... More

This place was functional, which was good. Not necessarily the cleanest or best kept, but it worked. First room we got had someone else's hairs on the bed. We pulled off about 10 before telling the staff and moving to another room, which had no hairs on the bed. The next room was about the same otherwise - grime on... More

This is a funny place to review because there are good points and seriously bad points. Oh there are 3 Arjana properties in Ubud - make sure you get the right one, one is a homestay in town, 2 are these bungalows with the pool and 3 is the newest right in the rice paddy. Positives - Its on a... More

If you can handle a 10 minute walk from the bottom of Monkey Forest Road you will find this accommodation ripper. The bungalow is large (we had an extra bed & had plenty of room), the breakfast excellent and the staff extremely helpful. Also has a very large pool which is kept clean. Unfortunately we were on a tight schedule... More

This is the 3rd homestay/budget accommodation I've stayed at in Ubud and by far the best. Gorgeous bungalows with canopy beds and bathtubs, a pool, lovely rice field views from the breakfast area. It's a 10 minute walk from the centre of town (up the most picturesque jalan in Ubud) but totally worth it for the peace and serenity. I... More

I was at a 3 week painting seminar in March and April. I was pleasantly surprised at the size and quality of my bungalow as well as the service from staff. Each of the bungalows at Arjana 3 are separate structures, tucked away in a tropical setting. My room had a large bedroom, with canope bed with mosquito netting. The... More
