You can't tell from the street, but this place has a sensational garden and beautiful setting. The staff are really friendly and helpful at organising tours and buses if you need them. The rooms are very private with own terrace and garden, just lovely for sitting outside. Unfortunately though the rooms inside are old and a bit musty, and there... More

Stayed in Ubud for about 2 weeks and enjoyed Kajeng the entire time. Breakfast brought to your door every morning, a great location next to a huge valley drop. The wild life is everywhere! Had a big dragon lizard walk in front of my bungalow porch, huge spiders that you have to look out for while walking at night...and while... More

My husband and I stayed in this hotel as everything else was booked. At first glance it was pretty great. Most of Ubud has been built up in a jungle, so out the back there is a huge drop off with a stream running through the mountain - lots of wildlife to spot! (bats, pretty birds, weird water creatures). They... More

Pool: awesome and big but be careful as the tiles are not well sealed and we cut ourself few times pushing on side walls Garden: very nice and well maintain Room (14B): good size (roughly 25sqm). Average mattress and very very stained/dirty mosquito net. Bathroom is less than average with water problems and not... More

HIDDEN TREASURE IN UBUD, If your looking for a spot that is close to the center but full of nature this is for you . Located right on the river, next to the waterfalls. Pool in garden, lovely breakfast on large terrace, wi-fi, and nice helpful staff. Luxury for budget travelers.

The location is great as it's close to the action but far enough away to be very peaceful. The gardens and swimming pool are beautiful and the ravine views lovely. The staff were extremely friendly and brought a lovely breakfast to our terrace every day. The outside of the rooms are great, with traditional carved door and windows but the... More

I stayed in a similar bungalow, but due to smell, poor internet access, and price, I moved to Kajeng Bungalows- a move that I was very happy with. I have read some of the negative reports here on TA, but I did not have similar experiences ither than the lingrring wet smell in the bathroom. The staff were very attentive,... More
