We stayed here for 5 days for the first half of our honeymoon and it couldn’t have been any better. It was more than we could have expected. The room was extremely private and located in the middle of the jungle, so expect pure nature quietness. Overall, the room was 98% private from other guests.
Location is about 10-15 mins from ubud city center with free daily shuttles. The shuttles only run every 2 hours till 6pm, so plan accordingly. If you need pick up after 6pm, you just need to schedule it for a small charge.
The food was excellent, service was 5 stars, the room was beyond expectations, and the view & private pool is world class. We did take the free trek tour to the rice fields and was a great experience through the local area and rice fields.
It’s a perfect hotel and I hope to return one day!
PS - if you’re staying in several locations in Bali, I recommend you end here with the tranquility and away from the city noise and tourist spots.

Stayed 4 days in Sahadewa room. We love the room so much, with the uninterrupted view to the open nature.
Bedroom has big glass window and door which leads to the balcony and a plunge pool. Inside, wooden slide door separates the bath and sleeping areas. Huge bath area with, wooden dressing cabinet, marble stone bath and other utilities. Rain Shower overlooks to the patio/balcony and the green trees, a total relaxation for body and soul.
Breakfast till 11.00, which can be done either at the restaurant or in the room (if you chose the latest, unlike other hotel, there is no additional charge added). In my opinion there are enough Choices for breakfast. Breakfast is very good!
There is a dance performance On Monday and Friday which is performed by the dancers from the local village. Also there is shuttle to the centre of Ubud every 2 hours.
The turndown service every evening, is highly appreciated. The housekeeping will replenish and tidy up the room for the 2nd time in a day, close all the curtains, and make up the bed for a goodnight sleep, who would say No to that :)
The staffs are all extremely friendly and always ready to assist. I couldn’t thank them enough for the lovely stay there. They stay to their natural Balinese hospitality.
I highly recommend this place and will certainly return to hv another visit next time I am in ubud again.

Each and every staff has a great attitude and outlook, allowing guest to enjoy and fully submerge in the environment.
The preparation of rose bath and two beautiful swan was nothing but sweet. Room was provided with Bath Sea Salt, Adapter which was an additional surprise.
Throughly impressed with the breakfast in the morning, each of the dishes prepared was tasteful and yummy, with a perfect view of the trees.
There's also Yoga session in the morning, although we felt that the massage could have been better.
Will definitely come back again should I visit Ubud.

I think this property is underrated, it's very beautiful yet not many Indonesians know. I love the design, the hospitality, the view, the quiet area, and many more. It's only 10 mins from the Ubud center and the hotel can help you arrange for the transportation like renting a motorcycle. Totally recommended!

The moment we were collected from the airport by a member of staff from the Natya Resort we knew we had made a great choice for our stay in Ubud. All members of staff excelled and went above and beyond for all guests.
They made us all feel so welcome and were great with our two girls!
Natya Resort is in a great location for all of the sites and sounds of Ubud but also far enough away to be a tranquil retreat.
All of us including our girls had spa treatments and we all enjoyed them very much and came away feeling relaxed and rejuvenated!
We would like to thank all of the staff for making our stay so special.

We stayed for 2 nights, and arrival experience was outstanding. Budiasa is very humble and helpful. The villa that we stayed was fabulous, exceeding my expectation. Only some amenities are missing. I can understand that they are decreasing the room amenities, and I have no problem for the room at all.
My only worst experience is with its restaurant. It starts with a group of staff is having conversation at the bar while our table is precisely in front of the bar. They were speaking in Balinese and talking about other guest.
Breakfast waiting time for food to come after placed order, 32 minutes (1 omelete, 1 sunny side up, 1 pancake) Day 1: Breakfast is pathetic, ordered sunny side up and omelet. They cant even afford to serve better tea and coffee, at least Dilmah..
Day 2: Ordered Nasi Goreng for breakfast which taste nothing. The plate of that nasi goreng is very hot, which made me assuming that this food was re-heated. Bread selection I can say inconsistent. On day 1, we have a pair of crosissant, danish and toast. Day 2, only one each.
Ordered cappucino during breakfast because I couldn't drink the coffee, but it was a wrong decision. I have paid for a pathetic cappuccino.
By all means, I can afford to pay more, we even had our dinner outside at a fine dining restaurant on the first nighy we stayed.
I could recommend this hotel, and my suggestion is to get a room only rate (without breakfast). Get a breakfast and meals from somewhere else.
Although we have a very special rate from this hotel, around $60 while normally they sell at $250 but the decrease of service standard is too much.
Just for an ice bucket and room service, they could not deliver it to our villa. I have to come to pick it up at the restaurant, under the rain. I have stayed on some hotels during this trip with the same rate around $65, surprisingly the could offer better for a 4 stars hotel, even breakfast outstanding.

There's no denying the resort grounds and idyllic valley views but... the bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever attempted to sleep in. I ended up putting my head at the foot end as the bed was completely worn out, hard and with spring coils pushing up. The pillows were as hard as rocks! On mention to the receptionist and restaurant staff whilst waiting for breakfast I was laughed at. On pursuing the complaint to the receptionist alone she began to laugh again and then said "that's impossible it's only two years old" to which I replied "Well, you have the information". Luckily I had only booked one night and checked out after breakfast as I didn't come to stay at this Hotel to be ridiculed and on returning to the room realised just how gloomy this villa really is. Grow some manners, learn some hospitality and throw in some people skills would be a few suggestions to this place. Oh, and buy a new bed! The pool villas are weird at best. A very pokey and dysfunctional design, randomly decorated with cheap furniture and artefacts. Two people would be tripping over each other around the dark corners and recesses. The day bed is filthy as are the bolsters and cushions on it. The whole villa is not really clean but merely given a wipe it seems. There were absolutely NO Covid-19 precautions except for staff wearing masks. I would avoid the place and find a nice property with staff that don't have the 'holier than thou' attitude of this overrated, over-priced and gloomy property.

I don’t know where to start. The promo photos of this resort don’t do it justice. It is SO BEAUTIFUL!! located on the edge of a small Ubud village (of the happiest people on Earth) Natya clings onto the side of a pristine tropical rainforest gully. It looks over to the other, completely undeveloped natural jungle, side and is breathtaking. We had a jungle view pool villa (Rama was the room’s name) and it was beautifully appointed, cooling a/c, the softest sheets, indoor and outdoor shower, giant bath, a lovely refreshing (completely) private large plunge pool, a smart tv (with great WiFi) and a private slice of that incredible view. Then, the master pool by the Naty’s restaurant is such a happy and relaxed place with a reasonably priced and local/international menu. For the first few (of 8) days we felt like the only ones there and it was magic. After that, more international guests arrived, and the spirit remained calm, inviting, friendly, wonderful. The hotel is very small so you’re never crowded. Free shuttles 3x daily (and 3x daily return) to Ubud centre are convenient free and on time. Out of hours transport is organised with local village drivers who go out of their way to help you and are also very reasonably priced at under $10AUD into the centre one way. The spa is fabulous with the nicest therapists that give first rate treatments - also reasonably priced. Highly HIGHLY recommend this hidden diamond!

Natya was a beautiful resort with some amazing staff, we would highly recommend anyone thinking of staying in Ubud to stay at Natya. The staff delivered above and beyond on everything we needed. The breakfast was fantastic for both myself and my wife's food requirements( non veg and veg ). The room was amazing, and very clean the housekeeping came at a minimum twice a day. The staff actually knows who you are and as you leave to go out they make sure the housekeeping is done. Couldnt have hoped for a better experiance. Highly recommended and made our honeymoon an amazing experiance

If you are looking for a place to relax and be treated by the nicest people, Natya is the place! We absolutely love this place and are planning on coming back. You do not have to worry about bringing your toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, razor, shaving cream, mouth wash, insect repellent, shower cap, loofah, water, and much more. The staff very nice and would do anything to please you. The food is delicious as well. You will not go wrong choosing this place. I recommend it to all.
