This is little piece of affordable luxury in the middle of a very busy area. The staff were lovely and welcoming and always willing to help or answer questions. The pool here is gorgeous with a view of the rice paddies. Not to mention the very spacious, luxurious rooms with very efficient air conditioning. There is ample room to park... More

The hotel is location wise. Near supermarket and monkey forest. 15mins. Walk to ubud market. Many restaurants nearby. Staff of the hotel are very much accomodating. Almost everything from tour to booking restaurants they will gladly help you. Breakfast is ok. Pool is nice too. Downside: aircondition not strong enough. But all in all great stay!

After backpacking for more than 6months, this was the most expensive place we have stayed and felt super luxurious although it is still pretty cheap. Large bedroom with balcony and huge bed. Also huge bathroom with a bath...which again was a huge luxury for us!! Lots of DVDs too but many have been overused and don't work anymore! On a... More

I felt very disappointed when I check in this hotel. The room is old and you may see some mold on the wall. The air conditioning is old and not cold enough even though I have already set it to the minimum temperature. The room is hot during evening time because most of the room facing the west. The towels... More

Great guest house very close to Monkey Sanctuary and within walking distance to "downtown" Ubud. The rooms are large and clean. Beautiful balconies overlook pool area and rice paddy. Staying here you get a break from the very "touristy" elements of Ubud.

This is a really quaint tucked away little hotel on monkey forest road. We stayed in room 3 facing the pool area. The rooms are fairly large airy and clean. The bathroom was a bit dingy with a beige colour scheme and bad lightening, the towels have seen better days as well but were clean and did the job. There... More

Ubud is a very busy, touristy area. This place was absolutely perfect with a view to the rice paddies and pool out back. The room size is adequate with a very large balcony where you can sit, have a drink and/or snack and enjoy the glorious, peaceful view, which is so refreshing after a long day of walking about in... My friend booked this whilst we were in Bali and we stayed for four nights. This was the first time visiting Ubud and I was pleasantly surprised as the accommodation was very reasonably priced. Breakfast was included too and although basic, was more than enough to set us up for the day. This property is close the the monkey forest... More

Room: very clean, streamlined and functional. Mattresses very comfortable and laundered well. Staff: the genuine Balinese hospitality. Breakfast: simple yet tasty - excellent restaurant across the street if that's more your style Features: gazing at rice fields and franjipani trees poolside while monkeys occasionally wander along the walls. Quieter than many other similar hotels. Summary: We'll be back.

I stay at two places when I am in Ubud and this is one of them. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are all nice except room 1 which is old and upstairs. The pool is the best I have found. Surrounded on two sides by rice fields. It is close to the Monkey Forest (the monkeys do... More

“I stayed in room 7 the first night, which faces the pool area but you couldn't really see the pool from there. I think you'd need to stay in the lower-number rooms for pool view/access. I was in room 8 the second night, which was HUGE but which faces the reception/road (it was still quiet though!)”
