This time in Ubud we tried Kebun Indah instead of Alam Jiwa (same property group). Kebun Indah is more centrally located to Ubud for restaurants etc, but still had lovely outlook from our room. The room style is the same lovely Balinese style and although there is A/C we did not need it. I have to say that I prefer... More

My family have been staying here for years. Nowhere better. The staff are quite simply the best. The service is impeccable. Rooms are very clean and lovely Bali style. Breakfast is the best you'll find. It's such a tranquil place just off the busy road but you can't hear a thing. Simply the best place to relax. We'll be coming... More

I have been staying at Kebun for over 5 years it's my home away from home. A hidden gem next to all my fav places Yoga Barn, zen spa and Kafe. Everyone here knows me and its value for money in beautiful settings with super lovely accommodating staff and friendly service . My home in Ubud!

I've visit Alam Group 4 times. All accommodation are very charming and show casing Balinese style very well. Kebun Indah is a same. The located in the Ubud, however it is bit walking (1-2 mins) from the busy street so no noise and quiet. The charm of Alam Group is same. The staff are good and friendly. However we didn't... More

The setting is wonderful - away from the main road amongst gardens and rice fields. Only insect noises at night and bird noises during the daytime. This is similar in design with the Alam properties and the concept is the same -- the breakfast and free transport within Ubud town. No two rooms are the same. However, this is an... More

Lovely property. Private. Great room and I loved the bathroom with the little pond of coi fish. The prices were great and the family also owns a restaurant at a different location. They will pick you up and take you there. Good food. Good price.

Visited with family and friends in Dec 2015. Loved the resort for its Balinese charm and cozy ambience. The bathrooms are as large as the rooms! There's a good chunk of options available on the breakfast menu. The croissants and the banana crepes are particularly worth trying.

First off all the staff who I met were fantastic! We had several issues with 2 separate rooms and they did their best to accommodate and resolve. This is no criticism to them. Some problems were there are not enough towels to have fresh on a regular basis. They can only replace when they come back from cleaners. The towels... More

Had a wonderful 5 nights in this lovely small accommodation place. It is a peaceful haven amid the hustle and busy hub of Ubud. We found the staff extremely friendly and helpful and always greeting us with a smile and going out of their way to make our stay perfect. We enjoyed the Cempaka room - initially we were concerned...
