This was my second stay here for 3 nights and it is just as lovely and peaceful as my previous visit 5 years ago. This is a small place with only 4 rooms (the top 2 rooms overlook the rice paddies) lovingly run by Nyoman and his family. They are incredibly kind and helpful with Nyoman personally collecting us from...

I recently spent three weeks at Sri Sunari and couldn't have asked for a more peaceful and tranquil place to spend my time in Ubud. Located just outside of the downtown area (only about a 15 minute walk), this guesthouse is situated in lush green rice fields and allows for a quiet and relaxing experience. The compound is secure, private,...

I stayed at Sri Sunari from 8/1/15 to 8/7/15. The location, while not in the city center, was excellent in that it was less busy and crowed than central Ubud. Plus, the surrounding rice fields offered a peaceful view. Our host suggested we dine at Putu's Wild Ginger, which we did twice and enjoyed immensely. We were also able to...

I spent a week at Sri Sunari at the beginning of June and would go back in a heartbeat. Even though the city center is only a 15 minute walk, the guesthouse's setting in the midst of rice fields make you feel far away from the bustle and busyness of Ubud. The attention to detail in the design of the...

The walking path to Sri Sunari alone is camera worthy. The only sounds were the crickets, frogs and morning prayers: a paradise for us. Breakfast every morning on the veranda overlooking the rice fields, watching the farmers tend the land. Hard to leave to get into the bustle of Ubud shopping. Poolside is peaceful and comfortable. Never took the Lotus...

A fifteen minute walk from the center of Ubud, this is a very nice guesthouse. Especially rooms on the first floor are recommendable, because of the nice views on the ricefields. Clean rooms and a very nice balcony of your own. Shower can be better, but hot. Breakfast is really nice and you can also let the staff bring your...

This guest house lived up to our expectations 100%. Small, friendly and intimate and the swimming pool/private garden was a welcome respite after the busy roads/footpaths and retail fervour of Ubud central. The four young staff who made breakfast, cleaned the rooms and looked after the guest house were very friendly/helpful and accommodating as was Nyoman the manager. We loved...

Sri Sunari is the perfect place to stay to escape the large crowds near Monkey Forest in Ubud. The rooms have beautiful views of the local rice fields, and the lodge is just a 15 minute (safe) walk from central Ubud. Hot breakfast is included, and the manager's wife, Putu, owns a restaurant toward town called Wild Ginger with delicious...
