Having stayed at the Besakih for a number of years it is time to move on for better value for money. We found that although the rooms are clean, location and pool great with the staff very friendly the maintenance has been lacking and whilst there we viewed other places to see what is on offer and was quiet surprised,... We stayed here during Nyepi, mid March. This hotel is really beautiful, with lovely tropical gardens, and in the right location. It's right on the beach and very close to restaurants, Hardy's Shopping Centre, laundries, Mini Marts etc. The Besakih gardens kept my young toddler and preschooler amused with their scattered fish ponds, turtles, lizards, statues and the resident cat... We were nervous after negative earlier reviews, but have come home full of praise for this beautiful old lady. The gardens are lush and tropical and the rooms clean and fully serviced every day. The staff are very sweet and friendly and offer five star service. The pools are awesome and we spent a lot of time lazing and indulging... More

Stayed the best part of two weeks in January. Not the flashiest hotel but clean. Good size rooms and very friendly and accommodating staff. Ideally located on the beach front, just laze in the pool and watch the world go buy. Restaurants galore in easy walking distance.

Stay at this property often. Yes it's a bit old but clean staff can't do enough for you. Breakfast is adequate and the pool on the beach is just awesome. Location Location, location, location for ease of resturant access right in the middle. Air con nice and cool if there's a problem. Matinence will fix it. ASAP. If your looking... More

The Besakih may not be a 5 star hotel but there's something about it that is very welcoming and makes you feel right at home. This was our third stay and we have already booked our next visit. Lots of people return to The Besakih every year because they enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and I can understand why. It's not... More

Stayed in a deluxe room and was impressed with the size and cleanliness of the rooms. The position on the beach with the infinity pool is superb and well laid out. No safes in standard rooms so you have to use the front desk. Very close to a number of quality restaurants on the beach and on the main road... More

We were a bit disappointed with the rooms. You get what you paid for. This was our first visit here. Have stayed next door 8 times. Rooms definitely need an update. Staff very friendly. Pool right on the beach is always a great touch. Would recommend if you want average room but good price stay here, if you want great... More

We recently returned from 13 nights at Besakih Beach Resort & I'm very happy to say that we where not disappointed. Although we had stayed there previously some of the recent reports made me a bit nervous, particularly as we had some newcomers to Bali staying with us. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out... More

Besakih is the place to go for families and couples looking for a quiet retreat. If you are looking for loud night entertainment, parties and surfing than Kuta would be the better choice for you. Besakih offers a sense of tranquility with its white sandy beaches, beautiful and relaxing pools and scenic dinning area. Another great point for Besakih is... More
