We stayed 9 nights at Taksu Hotel. It’s situated a 15 minutes’ walk from the beach, but that’s no problem at all since you can either walk or grab a cheap taxi. The personnel was super nice and helpful. Every morning the breakfast was complete and the staff provided you with a smile, a greeting or a little chat. Especially Antari was great :). The swimming pool was large and the room was clean and spacious. The value for money is great! I would definitely recommend this hotel!

I stayed at the Taksu in June for 10 nights - it was my second stay, and I was happy to be returning. The staff are really great, especially Antari, who is a great hostess. Always really friendly and keen to help with anything you may need. Mirah, the (trainee) breakfast waiter was also great - always watching to see if your coffee needed topping up, or your plates needed clearing. Breakfast itself was wonderful. You can sit out near the pool, and there's a wide range of food on offer at the buffet. Tropical fruit was a favourite, as were the pancakes! The rooms are a great size. It's a smaller sized hotel, which feels a lot more personal, and has about a 10 minute walk to Sanur Beach. Will definitely go back on my next trip to Bali.

I booked the junior suite with city view and the room was huge. At least 45 sqm, including a balcony (sunrise/city view, but pool view is good too). The accommodation was clean and well equipped. Each room comes with two bottles of water daily, two pairs of slippers, two towels, one face towel, and three pillows. The hotel has a nice 25 m pool that's very inviting in the afternoon. Breakfast was different every day (besides the pastries), and a full spread. Staff were excellent and friendly. A left and then a right turn at the nearest junction from the hotel would bring you to an excellent restaurant (Warung Blanjong), a delicious satay place called Sate Ayam Madura Rizqi (10 for 15000 IDR), a dive shop (Planet Bali Dive),several coffee joints (Island and Grocer), and Massimo Restaurant and Gelato. Would recommend staying at Taksu Sanur.

The hotel standard was ok. The staffs were kind at all level. The breakfast quality & selection range of food was good. The only issue I experienced disappointing me was during my departure day where I highly missed a change-room at the open area (pool) or elsewhere. My flight was very late in the afternoon, so I had to wait many hours after the checkout and would need to take a shower before departing. But the issue was there was no change-room. During the checkout the front desk promised to provide a solution. But when the time came, I met a new receptionist/lady which did not know about the agreement. She proposed to change in the little, uncleaned and unhygienic toilet in the open area. Not a good service!

the hotel is not big but very cozy, comfortable and large rooms, bathrobes, slippers, everything is at a very good level, cleaning, daily change of towels, replenishment of all supplies service at a very high level. the staff is friendly special compliments to the restaurant, the menu starting from breakfast is very varied and European cuisine and Indonesian I also advise you to dine in the hotel restaurant, the quality and taste is higher than in restaurants outside. By the way, I dined at a 5-star hotel and it was inferior not only in quality but also in service, not to mention the price special thanks to Antari for great service the hotel is clean I recommend

Not what I was expecting/ distance from Sanur beach quite far.
The hotel is everything that is advertised but the distances projected to walk to the beach are much further than what was published. When you have heat index of 100+ F it’s a hike.
The rooms are clean and nice and no issues just far from the beach which no one in the multiple reviews had voiced that concern.
Booked 2 nights but will move , stay only one night and checkout and go to Sanur beach area with the walkway areas around the sea and multitudes of beachside restaurants.
No buffet breakfast at this time and you need to pre order and they will deliver to your room or you can come down and have at their restaurant area. 3 choices are continental, Indonesian or American.
The area has some coffee houses and restaurants
Pool area deck could use some upgrades.

I had the pleasure of staying at Taksu for one week after my Bali Tour ended. This is a lovely small boutique hotel with spacious sparkling clean bright rooms and a lovely poolside atmosphere. I was tired after my adventure tour and this pool and lush garden deck provided perfect relaxation . This lovely hotel also provided extra insight into Bali culture with free daily cultural offerings like Balinese dance lessons, fruit carving, yoga and gamelen music. Should you need massage or reflexology, an onsite spa is also available. You are also close to main shopping street, a yoga studio and the beach. But the very, very best is the outstanding staff!! I thank you all for your generous smiles, teaching me new Bahasa words, and sharing laughter. You will stay in my heart! Om swasyastu! Terima Kasih! Ade Ties! Its new years eve. They were pretty full, but yet short of staff. Front desk very multitasking and kept a smile. On check in, the lady even offered late checkout the fllwing day.
Location was not in the heart of sanur but near main road so walking, riding bike etc was an option.
Rooms were big, air cond filter does need to be cleaned. Nice hotel but nothing special to make me want to come back.

Great Hotel, Great Room and Very helpfull, untill check out.
I signed a pool receipt with out reading it, the reciept was for 3 days prior to checking out, my mistake, i should have known better. I explained to the people at check out that i had the drinks but during my stay i did not eat at Taksu except for breakfast. I did have issues getting the attension of the staff on that day because they were busy on their phones. I waited 15 minutes before anyone noticed i needed assisstance. I explained that since i signed for the reciept i will pay but i did not have the food. They sent the reciept to the bar to confirm with the duty manager that the reciept was correct. He said he remembered me ordering the meals. I can not understand why he lied. i had time so i asked them to look at their CCTV footage but they didn't. I payed for the additional cost because i signed for it, i know i should have checked before signing, i do not blame the people at check out, but, i do blame the person that made the mistake and the bar duty manager for saying he remembered that i ordering the food, also the check out staff for not checking their cctv, the day was on the reciept.
I left a good holiday on a very bad experience, my major issue is the lie and the issue that they did not check their CCTV. The cost of the food that i did not order or consume was minimal and i had no problem paying the bill since i signed for it but what happened at check out was a joke, i just wanted them to realize that we both made a mistake but it was to difficult to check on CCTV like i asked since the bar staff made a mistake.
I will not be going back because of the lie. Also do yourself a favour, read your invoices twice incase there has been a mistake.

Stayed in a Junior Poolview suite. We were given rooms on the ground floor with hardly any view of the suite. The hotel is no where near the near the beach and is a good 25-30 minutes walk to the beach. Check in was fast, the girls in the counter were friendly but the bald man who mans the reception in the evening is grumpy and even wanted to charge us for a glass of ICE. The hotel spa is not open, but they recommeded a spa nearby which was excellent and the best we ever visited during our 12 day stay in Bali. Come out of the hotel, turn right till the dead end, then right again and then left into the long lane and you come to the Beach walk, and a very mediocre beach. Again, from the hotel, turn right, at the dead end turn left and you come into a lovely promenade filled with restaurants, souvenir shops a market, a large supermarket and more. At the hotel, turn left and you come to a rather expensive warung, a couple of small eateries and a Mini mart to buy your water and drinks etc. The hotel reception never seemed to have heard of the Beach walk or the Sindhu night market which was very strange. From the Hotel it would cost you 50000 IDR by taxi each way to get there, nothing great about the place. Breaakfast was very average, nothing great to talk about, and room service menu was very limited. We ordered PHO at the hotel which was terrible ! Will I stay here again? I dont think so....
