The pool is great, with spectacular gardens and there's a lovely dining area. Breakfast has varied choices of food , which were delicious . The staff were wonderful.
After staying in a few places where the music thumped through the walls of our room, this place was a real haven.
I would definitely stay here again, it was great value for money.
And Sanur was a great beach. The cottages are not set on the beach front, but only a little walk away.

In saying this, you get what you pay for and for the price I think it was fair. I wish them well and hope they will continue to flourish now that tourists are back in Bali.
This place makes you feel welcome and at home. Stayed here in November 2022 (missed to review but better late than never…) and hope to come back here soon

On the negative side no bottle water supplied.
The rooms are dark and dismal with the pool access room you have to climb thru the door to enter. Shower you have to climb into a ugly bath with a hand held shower head that doesn't sit right and sprays across the bath. Breakfast consist of bacon one day sausages the next, always rice and noodle. There are pancakes available that are made one at a time next to the egg station. Fruit and salad consisting of lettuce cucumber and tomato. A few pasties sometimes. Overall breakfast is nothing to get excited. The reception staff was so arguments and defensive not a pleasant experience.
Sativa Cottages was a great find. Balinese style rooms with thatched roofing large pool with swim up bar also had small pool for toddlers which our 1yr old loved.
Beautiful gardens surround the pool. Plenty of chairs to kick back and relax.
Breakfast was pretty good. Also enjoyed a few eats by the pool not expensive.
We used the bike hire and rode bikes along the beach esplanade which i recommand.
Great massage place across the street.
Market and cash exhange also at end of drive way. Plenty of restaurants in every direction.
Resort is a little bit out dated but adds to the charm cant complain about the price.
Pool tiles needs some attention and some slippery stairs entering pool.
Our AC in the room looked dirty likely due for a clean.
We enjoyed out stay and would come back for sure!
The not so good - Bathroom old and a bit smelly and needs a good scrubbing. Shower is over a massive bathtub and anyone who is slightly less able could have difficulty getting in and out. The bath tub is slippery as well.
The room is fine but it was dark and gloomy and not a pleasant place to 'be' though the balcony overlooking the pool area is lovely. Sun loungers were old & not enough of them plus definitely need many more sun umbrellas for shade.
It felt overpriced for the standard of room, limited sun loungers and lack of shade or sun umbrellas. There really should be 1 umbrella for every 2 loungers.

We have stopped in many places in Bali and this would rate one of the best. Booked again for April.
The hotel had great service thanks to all the staff, great food, and many options for breakfast. We didn't try dinner or lunch, but the menu seems nice, and they had live music too at night. In general, all the amenities were great; they have a great gym and nice pool areas. The location is not great, but it is near a harbor. That said, near the harbor, you can find amazing restaurants, a great cafe, an amazing Muslim lamb local food place, and also other busy local restaurants that serve a fish local dish. They have great hotel taxi services, but Grab will also work fine. They also have a great spa; we had an amazing massage there.

If you go out on the main street, there is a supermarket next to it, and there are restaurants and cafes that are very convenient.
