First time back in Bali after covid we decided to return to Aleesha villas for a few days break. Staff are wonderful, really friendly and attentive. We had Villa Carrie which was perfect for us, pool was fantastic. When we checked out I mentioned that the towels and linen desperately need updating and the Mattress, the lady said they were gradually redoing all the Villas. I would stay here again, the staff are amazing. Its a hidden gem.

We stayed 8 nights at Aleesha Villas in a 2 bedroom private pool villa called Anna Villa. The rooms were very large and comfortable and the pool was great. The rooms are a little tired and a few things are a bit run down but we loved our stay there. The staff were fantastic. Very helpful and friendly. We had breakfast included - huge servings but you can customise to suit. It was around 5 minute walk to the main road with lots of restaurants and shops and a 15 minute walk to the beach path. They do have a shuttle that will take you to the shops or the beach that leaves at 9am and returns at 1pm. There is also a friendly small store just up the lane to buy snacks and drinks. All in all we had a very positive experience there.

Unfortunately this is the most run-down and unclean villa I’ve stayed at in 30+ years of travelling to Bali. We were so excited to return to Bali after 3 years and upon checking into this “ultimate in luxury 3 bedroom villa” (their website) … well it really put a dampener on our holiday. We were met with broken dirty fridges, mouldy and grubby walls and doors, peeling paint, dirty toilets, light switches, remotes and window sills. We did ask to move, but were told there was “no room”, or we could “move for 4 days on Christmas Day, but would then have to move back”. None of which was ideal. Unfortunately most of Sanur was booked out too. To the staff’s credit, they did replace the fridge, the toilet seat and broken shower head very quickly and did offer us a free dinner and 1 massage. They did not attempt the clean the walls, doors or light switches, or at least it didn’t look like it. We were told by management it was ‘due to Covid’ and that every other villa had been renovated, except Villa Isabelle (it was due after Christmas) Which is a real disappointment as I had booked our 11 nights back in February 2022. We ended up just using the villa to sleep in as we had friends down at Jade Villas B and their villa was immaculate, and they paid less than we did. I highly recommend it down there. Regarding location - it’s a bit of a walk to the main area and beach and when it rains heavily you are walking in ankle deep water on the way in and out. There’s also a bit of a funny smell around the pool area occasionally.

Greetings from Aleesha Villas Thank you very much for taking the time and sharing your recent stay experience with us I personally would like to apologize that you have to experience a situation that is below our service standards and certainly below your expectations. As we have explained to you, COVID-19 has disrupted the global hospitality sector like no other in history, for the past two and a half years we have faced high levels of uncertainty, financial difficulties and operational challenges. However, since May last year, we have successfully renovated almost all of our villas and suites except for Villa Isabelle which is already in planning for renovations after Xmas/New year. Rest assured, we are definitely striving for much more improvement and we hope to have another opportunity to serve you in the future Once again, please apologies for the inconvenience you have experienced with us. Kind regards. The Management

It was a very good hotel for us. The room was very big, and there was also two private pool. Though the private pool is small, we can swim and rest in the cool water. The sightseeing tour was very nice. The guide told us nice restaurant. Last night, 9th Jan, we ate seafood bbq and It was the best dinner I've ever eaten. Thank you for the great room service and good breakfast.

With Covid ruling our lives, mentally and physically for the past couple of years and not being unable to truly disconnect...my stay at Aleesha was just what the Doctor ordered. Staff were absolutely wonderful. From the moment my Driver pulled in and the meet and greet to the wonderful accommodation, helpful tips and the wave goodbye at the end and customer service that above and beyond anything you get here in Australia...perfection! I feel I have made some wonderful new friends. Highly recommended! Everything right at your finger tips without the hustle and bustle. Will definitely be back :)

My daughter selected this mini break hotel to look at Senur … hotel very close to restaurants spas shops …. .15 mins from beach . Staff allowed us to check in earlier than stated and gave us a tour of the facilities . The bed was clean & comfortable and large room …. Beside pool area . I left my sunglasses and robe by the pool when we checked out and staff very helpful in me getting my items back … I marked it down slightly as the info in the blurb said breakfast which there wasn’t & TV was not operative ! Staff faultless x

Just stay 1 night here, the villa was a bit far from main road. The room was clean and big. It also had kitchen inside. The AC was noisy, but because I arrived late so did not have a chance to see other room. The pool was maintained and staff was polite. My room (Ubud suite) was a bit out of date, so it's better to check when check in.

Because at one point I was the only guest at the hotel, I had the opportunity to browse each hotel room. Not the suites with private pool as that was in another area. What I noticed is that there were no consistency in the quality. For example one room would have a new television with good reception, whereas another one has a barely working TV with distorted sound. Another room would have a new microwave whereas another had new pots and pants or another that didn't even have enough bowls. One consistent thing was the bathroom due to water quality. There are deposits on the bathtubs and shower heads and often making things rust faster than it should. In one bathroom, I found mushrooms growing under the sink because there was water leakage. I would suggest don't be hesitant in asking for things because it could be available, just somehow wasn't in your room.

During a stay in Bali we stayed at the Aleesha Villa in Sanur. Downsides Access road difficult to find (even for taxis); the road is very narrow without a shadow during the day and completely dark at night. It is not very safe: there are signs for motorcycles to steal. Very poor and rushed cleaning service; the floor is never washed. And there is a strong smell of sewage in the bathroom and mold in the kitchen area. Often there is no hot water for the shower. KITCHEN AREA: very narrow, very few utensils, small old fridge WITHOUT FREEZER. Insects that walk on the floor and on the kitchen surface (see photo) at all hours. BEDROOM: all windows are sealed with no possibility of air exchange. There is no privacy, as the only entrance glass door overlooks the walkway. Absolutely insufficient ceiling lighting system with some missing lights and therefore always dark room. POOL: pool towels very worn, the bathroom with shower of the pool is old and in urgent need of cleaning never done and maintenance. Positives Free shuttle service to the mall and beach (limited hours) Good breakfast for a fee Pool large enough. Conclusions Service to be completely improved and maintenance non-existent. It is absolutely not worth the list price, you can find better in Sanur at lower prices with better performance. NOT RECOMMENDED
