forget about fairmont! Segara village is much much better... Try another Accor Hotels group such as: Sofitel Nusa Dua

As an Platinum Accor Plus member, I always stayed in Accor chain hotel for both my business needs as well as pleasure. I was staying in Fairmont Sanur Bali on 21-23 July, together with my friends. Since we are coming on a different flight, therefore I am asking my friend to do the check in on my behalf and submit all the necessity documentation. My friend name already registered prior arrival. We really enjoy our holiday time in Bali, however due to an emergency, I need to go back early to Surabaya, while my friend stays in the hotel and do the check out on Jul 23. My status point and reward point was credited, however Fairmont took back (debited) my point (status and reward) the day after. When I make a formal complained (phone call to Hotel staff) to inquiry why did they debit my points, I was accused that I did not stay on the hotel, which is not true. Some unpleasant behavior/conduct from Fairmont Sanur Bali to me and my friends are: 1) They made a repetitive and disturbing phone calls to me and friends, since they think that I did not stay on the hotel. For sure this unproffesional behaviour is really annoying and ruin my holiday. 2) As I mention previously that Fairmont Sanur took back my Points (status and reward), which is very untolerable since I have the right to earn and get the points, since I have booked the hotel using my Accor member plus and have paid my hotel bills. 3) I was contacted by Ms. Fony (Duty Manager) and offers me that the hotel willing to give me back my points to my account with the condition that I have to erased all my dissapointment review at Trip Advisor, during my stay in Fairmont Sanur Bali, that me and friends reviewed unfriendly treatment and behaviour. For your information, I have been 10 years with Accor Plus and I never had any bad experiences with the services. On this case Fairmont Sanur Bali is jeopardizing their reputation and brand name with their unpleasent treatment and behaviour staff to me and friends. For sure this will be the last for me to stay in Fairmont Sanur Bali. You need to think twice before making decision to stay in this hotel. Their service does not represent their brand name and reputation, since Fairmont Sanur Bali give unpleasant services & experiences, terror the hotel guest, and robbed my points and requested me to erased my report on Trip Advisor, therefore readers will not read their bad services and treatment to the hotel guest.
