A very good place to getaway from the situation of lock down. Stay in the two bedroom villa with private pool. The place is huge and fit 4 of us confortably. The place is so worth the price ( i got it from wang_baliluxuryhotel) . Came with two kids and we enjoyed the pool, the kitchen and the superb breakfast. Nasi goreng and mie goreng is great. The place is quiet due to many restriction at other cities. A great place if you want to dive. The boat pick you just right infront of the breakfast place . The villa just need a bit of renovation on some part such as the electrical outlets that doesnt work at some parts. The amenities such as shampoo need to be improved. Otherwise the service is superb
Due to the global virus lockdowns, I was unable to travel to the Fairmont Sanur as planned (in April). When I informed them, they confirmed that my booking/payment would be refunded in full. This was in writing. 4 months later, I checked on the status of the refund and they informed me that they would not refund my payment. I figure their initial lie was a tactic to delay me from taking other action such as contacting my credit card company to secure the refund. Despicable. I have informed Accor/Fairmont regional head office so they are aware of the duplicitous and shady tactics employed at their Sanur property. I will also be posting on other social media platforms so the public is aware and avoids this property.
I booked the villa for 3 nights, but I decided to extend it for 1 more night since I feel so relaxed while staying there. I supposed to fly to Japan during my birthday, but due to Corona Virus I celebrated it here since they offer a very cheap price for their villa with an absolute facilities you could get inside. There are only slight minor issue such as broken sliding doors and many part of the villas that needs to be refurbished. But I assume they will renovate it very soon as they currently upgrading their suite and undergo some renovation on its resort
We stay in the beginning of COVID-19 pandemic. Bali is quiet, but Fairmont keeps its excellent services. The Hotel has access to the beach, which is a big plus. Other facilities: gym, swimming pool, spa and restaurants are excellent. Those are what you can expect from Fairmont brand. We will definitely will return to Fairmont, and recommend the Hotel to our friends and family.
We had 7 wonderful days at Fairmont Sanur from 3-10 March. It is spectacular. Panoramic views, comfortable, spacious, rooms, lush gardens, a lovely pool, well maintained beach access, a truly tranquil spa, restaurants with high quality and beautifully presented food, ready access to the attractions and services of Sanur and above all else, outstanding service. Every staff member we met was genuinely friendly and focussed on ensuring our well-being and enjoyment. This included reception, front office, the young men who organised bikes for us, pool attendants, those responsible for preparing and maintaining our room and ensuring we had fresh towels and adequate water, and the ever so charming spa staff and even the gardiners. The massages were a dream. We had the great pleasure of meeting Muliana, the Food and Beverage Manager, whom we had heard about from friends. What a charming and charismatic man. His staff are obviously well chosen, highly trained and motivated, always prepared to engage in interested conversation, remembering the little things like seating, food and drink preferences, and displaying real enthusiasm for their job and a grasp of customer service. Janu, Wira, Hendra and Rika were amongst the staff with whom we had most contact and all were bright, engaging and conscientious. Breakfast was a real highlight and a perfect way to start the day. The environment is serene, the food imaginative and artfully presented, the coffee, juice blends and herbal teas a lovely accompaniment. And of course, the service! Can't help thinking the food and beverage service is a reflection of Muliana himself. It is our firm intention to return to the Fairmont Sanur Beach. Our thoughts and prayers are with the staff as they deal with the COVID crisis.…
