We had reserved this for a week, but after we see that mess, leaved immediatly. Room was filthy, seemed like only place what was ever cleaned was the bed. Reception staff lose their ability to speak english, when we went to reception saying that we cannot stay in that room and we want to change room to upstairs or check out. Never go here again.

We stayed around 14 days at garden view room. The room was big and their furnitures were old, but still in good condition. The garden was awesome and also the pool. We got around $18 USD per night from agoda and it made this hotel wonderful for us.

We stayed in this hotel through TUI looking at pictures and reviews the hotel seemed alright as we were planning on travelling and staying in different places anyway, this was just somewhere to keep our luggage and come back to for a few nights. The tui rep that we got was just after a sale and didn’t want to tell us anything about Bali at all, which was disappointing. The room was basic shower curtain reeked of b.o and the shower kept turning off in between a wash, they gave you little bottles of water each day which all hotels do, they tasted like pond water(not that ive drunk pond water haha just the smell of it linked to the taste) no WiFi in the room only the reception area and nothing on the tv was English and only 10 channels - everyone loves a film before bed! , We stayed bed and breakfast and it was honestly not worth getting up in the morning for we ate there once in the two weeks and decided to eat out for breakfast. As it was cold and bread was hard, We stayed In seminyak, ubud and Gili and this was by far the worst hotel , they missed basic things that cheaper hotels remembered, we didn’t want to come back to it as the bed was hard and only get one pillow each, and when they come to clean the room they didn’t clean much as all of the tables and cupboards were dusty, the towels wasn’t changed everyday, they seemed to focused on cleaning the garden than cleaning the rooms. On a positive note the staff are so friendly and always willing to help (all people in Bali are nice so you can feel safe wherever you go) If you want a great driver to rent for a day and take you around ubud I.e monkey forest, Bali swing and Balinese ceremony - also to take you to mount batur which is a must do, he will take all your pictures for you and literally take you wherever you please and he’s so nice and just wants To make you happy then call ‘Putu’ His number is ‪- +62 859‑3700‑8495‬ You won’t go wrong with him so take this advice!!

From venturing down a side street to entering this small hotel, the incense hits you straight away. Tucked away this place has charm. Offering friendliness from staff and guests, calmness and a clean place to rest your head, then it's ideal for anyone on a budget. Breakfast has little choice and you will be disappointed if you book breakfast with your room rate. The pool is lovely though sunbeds were few and badly in need of replacement. Also towels in rooms were greying and had seen better days, but were clean smelling. No hairdryers in rooms and I had to ask. No kettles either in rooms, but on asking, I was given one, but it was missing the spout filter to it, so never used it. Close to lots of eating places and the beach and supermarket near. Came away with the memory of basicness and the unforgettable smell of incense that was lovely.
