Wat can we say !!!! Audrey and her team made or 3 week vacation in Bali more than perfect. Not only did we stay at this cosy, wonderful hotel in a quiet area of Sanur, but close to the beach and restaurants, with a very helpful and super friendly staff (no question was to difficult for them), but she also organised all excursions during our stay even when we stayed at other hotel/villas : rafting; downhill cycling, visits all over Bali, speedboat to Nusa Lembongan,... Everything was perfectly organised and communicated, so we didn't have to worry about anything and only had to enjoy ourselves and have lots of fun. And as cherry on the cake she provided us with the best driver ever. Komang was our driver and guide for all our excursions. He was so lovely, friendly, helpful, patient, flexible... and he told us everything about the real Bali life. We couldn't have wished for a better way to discover Bali with him. Thanx again for everything !!!!!!! We can only recommend more than 100% to stay at Tropical Bali Hotel and let Audrey organise your vacation in the most flexible way.…

We were the first customers when reopening in August 2022 after 2 years of pandemic. We spent two wonderful nights at this hidden gem. This small hotel is quietly located in an authentic area of Sanur. We appreciated the calm, the vegetation and the comfort of the room. We especially recommend the massages with Yuni and Siti!

We feel very lucky to find Grand lnna Balibeach resort in Sanur. It is such a peaceful,beautiful large garden resort at the beachfront in fresh ocean breeze everyday. We as retired came last December and became emergency permitt residents since the worldwide pendemic. All the resorts and hotels at beachfront are closed at the moment except Hayatt and Grand Inna Bali Sanur. We stayed from last December until last March at the Gardenwings area which was also great. After most of countries locked down and flights were closed last March, The management offered Cottage rooms to remaining guests, mostly Europeans who did'nt want go back to their homecontries due to Corona. They are all healthy people. Inna high building hotel & Graden wings are closed now but cottage area is still operating even though they are planing new opening in June and still some renovations on going. What we were amazed during our stay since March with only few rooms occupancy,they clean Beachfront, huge garden area/3times a day, 3 quite big pools and rooms EVERYDAY!!! Yes, rooms looks run down but cleaned properly. Considering this establishment/rooms and pools since 1966 has been operating,kept quite well. Room service 24hours and 1 beachfront restaurant is open at decent quality and price,friendly staffs. We are not sure whether they are accepting booking per agency.because many hotel.com sites indicate as "sold out" meaning no booking through those travelsites available. Maybe direct contact is needed. We feel sorry that many potential holidayers staying at home due to lock down and very limited flights possibility. But if anyone want to escape from lock down cold weather or cities, We'd like to recommend definitely Grand Inna Bali beach,Sanur. It is so peaceful,clean,safe and tou can exercise Yoga or talk a beachwalk in sun and full lung fresh air. We are not related to this resort but as a retired coulpe (Germany) and long 4rh months stay guest, we are impressed by this resort staffs hard working and their professional friendlness and discipline. We'd like to express our thank in this form for their work and their best effort EVERYDAY making us here as 2nd Home away from lock down home. Probably direct contact is needed.if Pools are closed from outsider daytrip visitors but in house guest can swim.…

The stay here was fabulous, the owners were wonderful people, very attentive and made sure all our needs were met, as we were here for our 25th wedding anniversary. They made us feel special on our day. All the staff were great, very kind and happy people. Hotel can organise private massages at a good price, and they were great. Even though it's not walking distance to town, getting to and from is easy and cheap with gojek. Hotel is private , quiet, very clean, pool is beautiful, would highly recommend,.

This is a nice place to get introduced to Bali for us Europeans. This small scale hotel is run by a French couple Matthieu and Audrey who will assist you with planning your trip and pre-arrange some of the visits with their expert advice. Clean rooms with a nice breakfast. Only downside is the location out of the centre of Sanur, so you need a taxi to get around (we did anyway with our 4 year old), it’s a walk of 1 hr to the center of Sanur. Also excellent value for money. Well done 👍

When you made a reservation, we always send you a message to clarify the location of the hotel : The hotel is located in a quiet area, still preserved from mass tourism. We are 5 minutes walk from an authentic beach (black sand) frequented by local people for ceremonies of offerings to the sea, kites festival from May to October. The touristic beach (white sand) is accessible via a walk along the beach of about 35 min on foot or 5 minutes by taxi (2 €) or scooter. There is no restaurant in our hotel but room service is available from 11 am to 8 pm and meals can be delivered to your terrace. Two traditional restaurants are located a 5-minute walk from our hotel. The setting is very nice and the value for money excellent. You will also find within a 2 minute walk a small supermarket where you can buy cakes, drinks, first necessities ... Maybe see you soon again in Tropical Bali Hotel !! :-) Audrey & Mathieu

We recently spent 5 days in Tropical hotel where we had a very good time. Good conditions, cleaness, silence & perfect service. Tropical hotel is situated atbthe margin of the city in an authentic balinesse area. Even though there are around 2 to 5 km to the Sanur center or sea bay area we had no problem beacause the taxies are super accessible and affordable. We came during the night, checked in at the floor 1. Very good room with a nice view to the pool and garden but we had one lizard in our room. Not being in a tropical area before it was a little bit uncofortable. ( this is normal in the area) In the morning, we meet the host and he accomdated us instatly to the floor 0 area where lizars could not enter. Then we had perfect days. The host took time to explain us what we can do in Bali,give us very good advices, places to visit, everything. Super human touch, congrats! We stayed there for 4 nights. It was like we entered a hidden paradise. So peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were incredibly helpful and so flexible. The pools lovely. Good Hot shower, fast WiFi, lovely breakfast. We never normally write reviews but felt that Tropical Bali hotel deserves a five star recommendation.

We only had one night here, but would have stayed longer if we could. Mathieu and Audrey were so prompt in answering our emails before we arrived and then arranged for us to be picked up at the cruise terminal when we got in -- and made arrangements for our trip to Ubud, and also the airport the next day. Although there is no shuttle, Mathieu will order a very reasonable taxi to take you wherever you want to go. Our room was clean and inviting and we enjoyed our breakfast on our terrace - as well as the dinner ordered to be delivered to the hotel. Beautiful pool area and plantings! Get a poolside room if it is available and, if you can, stay and relax at this small piece of paradise. P.S. If you like large, glitzy, expensive resorts, this is not the place for you.

Me and my friend booked this hotel for two nights at the start of our vacation in Bali. It's located like a 40 min walk from the bigger hotels/tourist locations but thats just positive. Audrey and Mathieu helped us plan the rest of our journey around Bali/Lombok and also booked cars/boat travels. Super helpful! Strongly recommend.

It was first and last hotel during our holiday. Mathieu is amazing person, who really want to help to plan your journey if you feeling a bit lost - BIG THANK YOU!! Staff members and people recommend by owner - fabulous and helpful!! Everyone advised us with great tips. Tasty breakfast, but might be bigger :) Comfortable beds and good shower, swimming pool nice and clean. I would like to highly recommend and wish to be back as soon as possible!! <3
