The Regency Lounge which serve Breakfast and happy hour is very nice with music and live grill station every night. However room is dated with a lots of insects and flying moth at toilet. Perhaps it is because we are at ground floor. The Sanur beaches has very restaurants and massage place. We are staying on point which is very good value. However, if we are paying cash, we may pick a newer place.
Absolutely loved loved loved our 10 nights at Hyatt Regency. Stunning setting and grounds. We stayed in room 1222, a deluxe and was really close to the lobby area. I came with my daughter for her 18th and the hotel staff had arranged a cake and beautiful decorations on the bed when we arrived. The communications before our arrival were brilliant and they organised for an airport fast track service for us which was added to the hotel bill so didn’t have to worry about choosing a bogus company or paying in advance. Our room was lovely, although the balcony was small and just about fits 2 chairs and a small table. But that was fine for us. I think there are suites with bigger balconies and the premium rooms have terraces. I loved walking round the grounds, they’re absolutely stunning. The two restaurants were amazing which was annoying as we ended up eating there most nights instead of going out much! And ordering lunch by the pool was great on the odd days we weren’t out sight seeing. Omang Omang do the best spring rolls, nasi Goreng and Mie goreng. The burgers and Parmesan potatoes are something else too! Loved the breakfasts, so much choice. But as a Brit abroad I caused no end of confusion asking for cold milk for my cup of tea! I’d get hot milk, a tea pot full of milk or a large glass of milk. 😆 The pizzaria food was good too and we loved the free welcome bread you get there. We still miss it! You obviously pay more eating at the hotel than locally but I still felt it was reasonably priced if compared with similar hotels in the U.K. and Europe. But out of everything at the hotel, it’s the people and the team that make it extra special. They go out of their way to help you and welcome you. So friendly. The pool is lovely and I just loved the frangipani flowers that floated in (a nightmare for the filters though I bet! 😆) No problems with changing pool towels or asking for extra. In the room, the bed and pillows were very comfy. We didn’t need an electric adapter as the sockets were universal so we just plugged U.K. electrical items straight in. The room was kept very clean every day. And we loved to come back and find out what towel animal had been constructed and left on the bed for us! Ooo loved how the toilet is in a separate room and not in with the shower and bath! Top tip.. get up early and go to the beach and watch the sunrise. It’s stunning! If I had a wish list of things that could’ve improved things they’re only small things but they’d just include: Better quality bathroom toiletries. Being a spa hotel I thought they’d be more luxurious so didn’t bring my own with me, but wish I had. You get lots of items in the bathroom and can request more/additional. Entertainment- there was nothing in an evening. At our next hotel in Ubud there was Balinese dancing and a singer. Pizzaria had a live singer at Sunday brunch which was great but would’ve been good to have a little more to do at night on site. It could be because they’ve only just re-opened so this could change. An ATM/cash point on site. The hotel confirmed before I came they had one. But it only takes one bank card - a name I didn’t recognise so visa, Mastercard, Amex wouldn’t work. There is one down a side street just off the beach that’s not too far away and when we were out with a driver we’d stop off at cash points he recommended we’re safe to use. There’s a lovely art gallery on site but a convenience shop with newspapers and snacks etc would be good. Especially for after dark, as it gets very dark early and people might not feel safe walking at night to the local shops which are very close by. Aircon didn’t extend into the bathroom. So It could get stuffy in there. But these things didn’t spoil our holiday in anyway, just things to be aware of. Thank you Hyatt we loved every minute and I cried buckets when we left!…
Satisfied with the hotel environment. The room was tidy . Breakfast were good. But Please improve n recover sooner your TV station channel. It was very bad lost signal n take very long time to get normal again. We can not enjoy TV at all. Thanks.
Hotel and staff were great. I could recommend this place. The pools were safe and the pool areas were clean and well maintained. The staff in the club area were superb. We were not in club rooms but loved our room. Hugh bed, bathroom and balcony with great aircon.
Stayed at Hyatt for a business meeting on site. The hotel is very tastefully decorated in Balinese style. The rooms are comfortable and had all the amenities we were looking for. The beach access is a huge plus as are the variety of restaurant options near the hotel. The meeting spaces were comfortable as well.
A good place to stay. It is kind of confusing going to room for the first time because of the numbering. Arrived at 4pm and the room not ready so I have to wait for few hours. Overall it is good place to stay.
Beautiful gardens and relaxing atmosphere in a great location beach front Sanur. Pizzeria restaurant has the best pizza's and delicious menu. The staff are so patient and friendly always with a smile. We loved our stay.
Excellent , The Food , Service , Rooms and Hotel were Fantastic , my wife loved the plant based meal options for all menu's and Breakfast . The staff were helpful and friendly and could not do enough to ensure our stay was a great one . Highly Recommend
We stayed at the Hyatt Regency for a week in November as part of our honeymoon and could not have asked for a better place. The resort is beautiful and has vast very well maintained gardens and is right next to a white sand beach. It is also an easy 10 minute walk in to Sanur, either along the beach or the road. Although the resort is truly beautiful, what really makes it perfect are the staff. I have never met such a friendly, welcoming and smiley group of people - nothing was too much to ask. The Buffett breakfast is an absolute must. Having stayed in many many hotels and resorts over the years, this was by far the best breakfast I have ever seen. Every cuisine imaginable and fantastic quality. In short, I highly highly recommend this resort!
Accomodation was beautiful. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Very relaxing vibe and the location enabled us to explore different places around the area Room cleanliness was excellent. Would highly recommend
